Grove hotel is a perfect spot in cherry grove- right in the center of it all! Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and kind.
Perfectly located right off the ferry so not a long schlep to your room! Staff held our bags when we came early so we were able to immediately enjoy the island 🏳️🌈

Love how the Grove always takes care of us (our 3rd visit in 3 years). If we arrive before our room is ready, they watch our bags (while we enjoy drinks at the Ice Palace, or pizza at the restaurant below) and call us when it's ready
The property is a short walk from the ferry, and just as close to the beach. The 5 dinner restaurants are all nearby, as well as the breakfast place and the general store. And the pool is wonderful
We always like the rooms (we always go for a corner room with king size bed); this time we weren't crazy about the music from the Ice Palace one day so we asked to change rooms (to be further away) and the front desk accommodated us right away
My only complaint is the TV service, which kept dropping; usually we don't care but since it was the week of the Democratic Convention we had serious FOMO

Truly had a wonderful stay at The Grove. Front Desk was so sweet, and I loved that you could text for extra towels or ask questions. Met a lot of fun people staying here and it was great just bopping over to The Ice Palace. Housekeeping was always around and really friendly. I look forward to coming back in the future! 🍒♥️

This was the first time my husband and I visited Cherry Grove and Fire Island Pines and we wanted to stay a couple of nights. The Grove Hotel seemed to fit our needs and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. When we learned about a week before our trip that our assigned room was on the pool/bar side of the hotel, I called and asked if we could be moved to the quieter side. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone said that he would see what he could do and then texted me an hour or so later that we’d been moved. This level of service continued during our relatively brief stay and we found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable.

It was clean. Small. Plain. But had what it needed. I was concerned that I would hear people in the rooms above and next door but we didn’t. This place can use a little decoration on the walls. But it was fine for what it was. I was only here for one night. I wouldnt stay for much more than that. Front staff megan was really nicer

We arrived to finding out the pool and outdoor deck were under construction; we were never advised when we made the reservation, and hotel management were not helpful. They eventually offered us a 10% discount for our troubles. Unprofessional and front desk staff were unsympathetic.

Hello Joe, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We strive to provide all of our guests with a wonderful stay. It is disappointing to see that we failed to meet those expectations. Unfortunately, the renovations to our pool deck took longer than originally anticipated. Considering this, we posted on our website, and all third-party booking websites informing guests that the pool would be closed. Additionally, we called and/or emailed every guest after making a reservation to explain the circumstances and offer a full refund. Our records show that we left a voicemail prior to your stay to inform that this information was received. We apologize that this was missed prior to your arrival. We are happy to inform you that the renovations to our pool deck were completed last September. It is now open to hotel guests and outside visitors. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back and provide you with the stay you deserve. If you would like to stay with us again, please let us know. We'll make every effort to ensure you enjoy an amazing stay!

Everything on Fire Island is expensive but The Grove Hotel is reasonably priced and right in the thick of everything you go to Cherry Grove and The Pines for. This hotel is clean, well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. I recommend The Grove Hotel without reservations.

The staff started communicating with us the day before arrival. They bent over backwards to accommodate us from letting us check in upon arrival to safely storing our luggage. The room was so comfy and sparkling clean which is not easy for a place right on the beach. Not a grain of sand could be found!

Very impressed with the communication prior and during my stay from the front desk staff. First time staying at a hotel where a real person actually answers your questions via text almost instantly! Would definitely stay here again next season.

I felt really comfortable in the room totally felt like home. I couldn't describe it any other way. That's really all I need to say about it and I have to say more just to get 200 characters 😂 I definitely will be staying in the hotel again The staff is also very accommodating I have nothing bad to say about this place always a pleasure.
