Stayed here in October, and enjoyed a good stay with free welcome cocktail. Nice well appointed room and good bathroom. Room had annoying lighting in the ceiling which we could not turn off.
Hotel is not located on the beach, but about 200m back, surrounding area is wasteland awaiting development. Great Pool area but there was no shaded area even in the Poole bar area. We had disappointing lunch in the pool bar and had to complain, burgers were raw...... Breakfast was ok. main bar was nice and staff were good.

Stayed here for five nights. Excellent service, very friendly staff. Hotel Restaurant was great. You can’t beat the location, walking distance to almost every thing. Rooms were very comfortable with great AC and TV. Will stay here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Incredible Asian service and hospitality. Rooms are clean and nicely sized/appointed. Gym on top floor and pool on roof with stunning views of bay. Very nice bar/restaurant and had a band one evening. Also has a small bar next to the pool. Within walking distance to Harbor Point mall, boardwalk and several restaurants. I look forward to my next stay.

Best Western Hotel Subic never fails for a quick weekend getaway. Just a suggestion, avoid parking on the right side facing the hotel because thats where their garbage dump is. Subic is a very windy place and you have a tendency to smell and see some debris flying around.

This is my second stay at the hotel. I like this hotel because it is walking distance to the mall and the boardwalk. Security is very good. Internet was very strong. Great for wifi calling back to the States. Rooftop pool was very picturesque. Breakfast was varied. Spencer's for dinner had a very wide selection of dishes.

If you're looking for a familiar brand of 3-star hotels, Subic has it with the Best Western Plus Hotel. The place is adjacent to the Royal Subic Duty Free shop and a walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants. Two blocks away is an Ayala Mall, the Harbour Point.

The rooms at Subic Best Western Plus are spacious, unlike the ones at Best Western in Hong Kong. IN fact, their standard room is bigger than the ones we stayed at the same hotel brand in the US. The rooms are adequately designed. The breakfast buffet at Spencer's is okay.

Over-all, it is very good hotel in Subic. I will most likely stay in this hotel if I find myself in Subic again.

The hotel is of moderate size, cozy enough to easily meet up with friends, but rooms are quite big, contrary to some complaints here, or maybe it’s just our room. The room air conditioning unit is misplaced, though, directed straight at the bed so one can fell the air blowing when asleep.
The staff in general is quite nice and helpful. Lobby can be bigger, but the rooftop pool is a good place to laze around.

Great View and roof top pool. The rooms are pretty good and staff are cordial. Parking is abound front and side of the area. The Royal Grocery is behind and you can just walk via the back door and in 150 meters you are in the grocery. Breakfast was basic but you can order a la cart like we did for bacon.

We had a terrible experience here. First issue is that we checked in a couple of hours later than the scheduled check-in but the room was not prepared well. We were tired and we wanted to take a bath immediately, but the bathroom did not have a lock - instead there is a piece of tissue paper in the hole where the lock is supposed to be. We called the reception three times and waited for 30 minutes before someone came to check. When he came, he was arguing with the lady from the reception via his phone right in front of us, and when he left he did not even look at us, poor guy looked like he did not want to be there. He took another 30 minutes to fix it.

Second issue is that they did not tell us that only 2 people had breakfast out of the 4 people in the family room - the hotel website and hotel voucher clearly stated that there was free breakfast but no mention that not all will have it. They should clearly state it in the website otherwise this is false advertising.

Third issue is the pool - the water is extremely cold, even after an hour in the jacuzzi. We were not able to enjoy the pool. They should invest in a water heater.

Last issue is the general unfriendliness of the staff - the people barely looked at us, let alone smile or greet us. This is not what we expected for the amount we paid for. For a four star hotel, they have sub-par service. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this hotel if you want a nice vacation.

We stayed in Anvaya Cove in Bataan for the long weekend, and we decided last minute to stay one more night in Subic to make our trip to the North worth it. Thanks to TripAdvisor, we were able to get a room for a good rate thru TravelPh.

I booked the room online for the same day, and what compelled me was the rooftop pool overlooking the subic bay. Parents however need to be very careful and watchful of their children because the glass railings are not high enough to secure children from possible falling accident. The pool water was not too cold, just the right temperate if you plan to stay until early evening.

The room and bathroom with bathtub were so spacious. What's obvious is that the toilet doors did not fit well, there were no locks. We had 1 king-sized bed and 1 queen bed, both were really very comfortable to sleep on.

Our room rate is inclusive of breakfast for two, and this is where the hotel management needs to focus on in my opinion. There were very few choices, and no dish that speaks of Subic's specialty. The dining place was great, but the food weren't. Good thing that their location is very accessible to all your needs - Royale Duty Free at the back, Shakey's right in front, and the famous Xtremely Xpresso about 600m straight away.

Over-all, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Just ask about transfer at the front desk and they would gladly assist you. Clark airport is about an hour from the hotel.

You better ask the hotel online about your concern about the pool. When we were there e wala naman kaming naging problem about the use of the pool.
