We booked this hotel for an out of town team building seminar. We chose this hotel primarily because of their function room and their guest rooms.

Function room -- they didn't give us what was in the contract because they had a wedding in our reserved venue. They did move us to another place after frustratingly agreeing to their option. Because of this we had to go back to the hotel for lunch. We were only able to use the right function room the next day.

Guest rooms -- we specified double queen size beds for all rooms. They set up one queen size bed and an extra mattress on the floor on three rooms. When we complained, they said they're fully booked and couldn't find other rooms. We had to complain again and again to different staff.

My personal observation is that the staff deliberately tried to force us into another function room (if you can call the Chinese restaurant that). The staff needs customer service training. They need to provide what they agreed to. Management needs to be proactive -- knowing they had an issue at the start and doing something about it early on could have prevented everything.

Would we go back? No. Find another hotel in Subic, this one is unreliable.

I get it, it's a tropical country.Cockroaches are everywhere. But we saw plenty here. One even rode the elevator with us.
When we arrived to our room, the room had not been cleaned. There was strands of hair everywhere. Including numerous in the bed between the sheets. I believe that they had just made the bed and not changed the sheets. There was blood on the "bed scarf/bed runner" at the foot of the bed, the cups and cutlery had not been cleaned. It appears as though there was bodily fluids on the desk chair. Towels were not folded neatly. parts of the bathroom floor appear to be perpetually wet. Thank goodness we were able to change rooms, but I wonder if they went out of their way to find and over clean another room because we complained. Do all guests get the same standard?

I stayed here once in Summer 2017 then again Jan 2018. During the summer 2017 my bathroom flooded from the floor drain. Smelled terrible and got my clothes that were nearby wet with gray water. I left and went to another hotel. I gave the BW another shot in Jan 2018 since my coworkers were staying there. This time my friend had a mouse in his room. Im done with this place.

Good rooms at a good price. Roof top bar was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Chinese restaurant next door is also nice. About one hour from Clark airport. Doesn't offer much in the local area

I stayed in this hotel once and I must say that this is far one of the best hotels in Subic. Nice room, good facility, and good service. The dining experience was superb and that is the reason why we keep on coming back to spencer's restaurant. I have been visiting this restaurant since their opening and i can attest that the quality of food and service has changed. Maintaining an establishment reputation is hard but i was not expecting to have this horrible dining experience here resulting myself to write this review.

We decided to have our dinner here last night because my father was asking me to buy him "Palabok." I've tried their palabok last month and i fell in love with it (sobrang sarap) hence we come back. I ordered pasta ravioli with hungarian sausage et al.for dinner and my 2 other friends ordered Lechon Kawali and Palabok plus additional 2 palabok for take-out. After 5 minutes the waiter told me that the sausage is not available so i changed it with a sandwich combo instead. After 30 mins, our orders was not served yet considering that we are the only group dining in the restaurant, so we waited. After another 10 mins the waiter went to our table to tell me that ravioli pasta is not available???!!! Seriously??? How can you accept the fact that you will be informed that your order is not available 40 mins after giving your order??? I got pissed off and decided to cancel our orders except for the 3 palaboks. When we got our bill, we were surprised that the palabok is Php180 each instead of Php120 as stated in their menu. We complained again and eventually they changed the price. What a horrible experience. We left the restaurant very sad and STARVING!!!

P.S. The palabok served last night was far beyong the palabok we had last time, noodles is hard and the sauce is bland. It was Horrible!!!

Are we going to comeback? Not in the near future or never will. :-(

Hotel is quite fresh and feel new in its ambience
Stayed for a night and was great experience with big sized room and all amenities for business travellers

Whatever review you've read about this hotel being dirty, trust me, IT IS VERY VERY TRUE. Drawers have trash in them, many parts of the room have thick dust accumulated. You'd think that their housekeeping department has a total of ONE staff because of how the room was maintained / cleaned. I need to mention though that when we asked for two extra towels and two extra toothbrush, the housekeeping came within less than 60seconds, it was quick but we got one towel only and got two toothbrush wherein one of which seemed already used because there is no toothpaste and the plastic is opened already.

Location is near to good restaurants
Hotel is very modern compared to others
Breakfast can be skipped, I suggest to eat elsewhere

I'll be back only if I see big improvements with their housekeeping issues, such a shame.

Hi Wellington Y, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve the guest experience. I was disappointed to learn of the shortcomings you experienced and we're currently taking steps to upgrade some of the rooms facilities. I'm sorry to hear the rooms weren't up to the standard you've come to expect from us. The management have personally addressed this with our housekeeping staff to ensure this won't happen again. They are trying their best for a new hotel in this location and I had high hopes.

Pro
New hotel

Cons
- a plague of ants in bed and when discussed with front desk they bring ant spray.... Should I sleep on that
- breakfast omelette was full of egg shells and uncooked eggs
- loud noises, thin walls and no sleep
- hotel already looks old even though it's new
- unfinished renovations, paint work, rotting walls
- unclean room, dark Long hair everywhere, dust everywhere, cups in room unclean, hair in bed sheets
- gym, well equipment is not switched on, no towels, no air conditioning

All in all, I'd rather stay elsewhere for the money

You better ask the hotel online about your concern about the pool. When we were there e wala naman kaming naging problem about the use of the pool.
