The most lavish and magnificent Subic Bay experience. Like a beacon that steers boats to shore, this magnificent establishment on the Subic waterfront can serve as a venue that beckons travelers seeking world-class comfort. Our Commitment: Lighthouse is committed to creating value and improving guests' experience. We have this genuine interest in our guests' evolving needs, thus we invest in our infrastructure and our people as we strive to provide a compelling guest experience. Our company was built on serving and satisfying guests and meeting if not surpassing our guests' needs is always our No. 1 priority. The Location: The Lighthouse Marina Resort is a three-floor, 34-room boutique hotel capped by a lighthouse. The hotel is sleek and ultra-modern in its Palafox-designed architecture. Done in almost austere Italianate architectonics with its elegantly simplistic hotel façade, the hotel's main building provides a perfect compliment to the 20 meter light tower done in surprising detail very faithful to naval architecture specifications. Its exclusive location hidden in the midst of the busy Waterfront Road makes it the ultimate haven of retreat. The Lighthouse was established in 2007 to provide transient residence to executives of business locators of the Subic free port zone and for tourists who frequent the port more for its sailing and eco‐tourism than its business. Ease of Travel: Proximity and ease of travel are always a concern for many people who are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of life in the metropolis. Just less than a year ago, Subic was a grueling three to four hour drive from the city capital. Today, all roads lead to a tranquil location, a journey of heightened leisure, traversing through a scenic paved ultra majestic highway newly built to serve as the main vein of the Manila-Subic connection, the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway. For a relaxing and inexpensive travel, the flicker of light at the Lighthouse Marina Resort just got brighter. A perfect vacation haven away from home just got closer. Its exclusive location hidden in the midst of the busy Waterfront Road makes it the ideal chill out place within the shorelines of Subic Bay.

Stay elsewhere. Newer hotels in Bario Barrto. Desk clerk girls are air heads so watch your bill. They tried to charge me for a guest that I never had. One of my group members had a guest sit across from me at breakfast and the dining manager assumed it was my guest without asking and attempted to bill me 1500 PESOS. MONEY GRUBBING HOTEL.

Staff here are friendly, kind and do their utmost best w a smile. They delayed building work for us, gave an upgrade and discount, were at our room door/table asap for each request, and had someone monitor the pool for safety even if it was just our son swimming. Hotel is a bit dated but clean, we loved the view and jacuzzi in our room. One thing that could be better - glass sliding doors don’t lock properly and are not soundproof either; live music from bars nearby is so loud until 1230 each night. We used ear plugs and headphones. Subic itself pales in comparison to other beach towns (abandoned, run down buildings) but Rali’s and Kim’s were lovely spots for meals. Hotel’s Sands resto was good too. We went to Anvaya for the nicer, private beach but local cleaners swept the public beach by the hotel daily so rubbish was not too bad. Local government should improve the beach further, it has potential.

Stayed for 3 days (Fri-Sat), Hotel is great for cyclists because you can bring your bike up to your room, only challenge is the elevator can only fit 2 pax, that means 1 person with your bike at a time. Breakfast was great and really helpful staff as well. definitely would be our option if we decide to stay for the weekend in Subic in the future.

I stayed for one night and this hotel did not disappoint. The location is perfect and the room is large. Lighthouse is a good place to stay in Subic. I had lunch, breakfast and a drink at the bar. The food and service was good.

One can smell cigarette smoke though the aircon because it is centralized. There is a plumbing problem with water pressure. The staff at front desk needs more training with hospitality. It is very clean.

The front desk girls are a bit rude and snooty. Be careful when you check out for hidden charges that mysteriously appear on your bill. Upon check out I noticed a guest fee. I had no guest. Apparently one of my office mates brought in a guest and she sat across from me at the dining table during breakfast and the dining manager assumed it was my guest. Also another co-worker was charged for an additional night so please review you bill carefully. The front desk girls seem to be somewhat incompetent. The hotel itself was nice but beware of the dining room manager as she tends to spy on hotel guest. The rooms are basic rooms. In my opinion not worth the daily price. The Moon Bay across the street was nicer..of course you have the daily street vendors trying to hustle you for over priced trinkets. Thats the Philippines.

Hotel is at a good location with a convenience store in the same building, a park and several restaurants nearby. The adjacent lighthouse is picturesque. Two things to watch out for when/if booking: (i) Check before you book whether there is a wedding going on during the dates you plan to stay at this hotel -- if there is, just look for another place to stay. Do double check the answer though. We were looking for a quiet weekend at a small hotel and were promised just that by the hotel reps. I even changed our booking dates not to coincide with a planned wedding (all the best wishes to the couple whoever they were, but we were looking for a quiet, peaceful stay). At check-in I was once again assured by the front desk that the wedding was over, only to learn (just a few minutes later) from the hotel staff that another wedding party has booked most of the hotel for that night. I can understand a hotel wanting to make up lost revenue during the pandemic by booking large events, but misrepresenting the condition of the hotel to other guests who are looking for a quiet getaway is very short-sighted. (2) This hotel does not require guests to be fully vaccinated or show negative COVID test results, in fact they declined to see my vaccination card when I offered.
