If you're looking for a no-frills hotel with a good location, this is good enough.

This is one of the older hotels in this stretch of the beachfront but don't expect to be able to swim in the beach in this part of the SBMA. The building has that old home feel and the staff tries to do their best for the guests.

The pros:
Good location, nice view, swimming pool, wifi in the room, reasonable rates, passable buffet breakfast, working air conditioning, cable TV, ref in the room.

The cons:
Open parking (exposed to the elements), no elevators, extra beds left on hallway, some staff need more training (housekeeping staff just opened our door without knocking), no fruits for breakfast (you have to pay extra).

If you need a place to stay in the area, compare the hotels so you can decide whether this one is what you want or there's another hotel that has better offers.

Price of the room is just right on the amenities we got though it already needs room renovation.
Room has airconditioning, not water at the bathroom and complimentary water. The hotel has a small pool and free basic breakfast. Their staff are very helpful and courteous. It is just a short drive or walk to the restaurants. I recommend this hotel for budget travelers who want a comfortable stay.

Great view of the SBMA beach, with great amenities. We booked the Ocean King Room, which we thought was perfect because with its size, it can fit a family of say, 5 to 7 people. We also got a great deal from booking from Agoda. My only issue was that they did not have an elevator, but I guess since it was a 3-storey building it was fine.

You will feel at home in this hotel. The ambiance is so feel at home. Location is perfect as it is next to shopping area, hotel bars, and beach front. Standard Room Price is around P3500 fantastic layout and furnitures, no beach view tho, lampshade has no outlets to plug on, toilets is a bit old, small and untidy. Free Filipino Breakfast (1 small dish, 1 egg, fried rice) or very very small serving of American Breakfast (1 egg). Most of the staff is naturally friend except for a lady front desk staff with eye glasses on duty in the morning, she ruined all other goods as you have to deal more with front desk on requests. Just by approaching the fornt desk, you'll feel you did something wrong by her vibes. For my 5 days of stay, never saw her smiled. I dont know if I did something wrong. My OZ friend, actually left the front desk for keeping him waiting for long time (she was on phone for like 7mins), he literally compared the services offered here and abroad as if not being professional his exact words "like this one,no energy for service". On the contrary, the Security Guard on duty at night till dawn is far more approachable and is very nice. Poor Parking Area. Even if the room is good for 2 and if your check-in alone they will just give 1 breakfast coupon, if your a big eater you buy extra food at their bar. The policy is ridicoulous since the price for single occupant and double occupant for all accomodations is the same, so the 2 coupons must be given to the guest, considering the amount per serving of food is very little. But as I said, great location and very feel at home (interior design).

Subic Park Hotel is not strict with their Covid-19 safety protocols. Guests are observed to be not wearing masks when in the lobby, so is the employee at the receiving area. No social distancing markers and no maximum number of occupants or guests in the lobby. It could have been a nice stay, except for the said observations. I hope the hotel management shall address these concerns. Keep safe always everyone.

To all the reviews that I readd about Subic Park Hotel, only one thing I can say, " They made my dream come true". The Oceanfront front was just perfect to the wedding that I once planned in mind, the staircase that added to the whole plot.
I highly recommend this hotel to the couples who's planning to get married in a personal way. Having the nature as your backdraft when the sea and the mountains come together with the clouds is your ceiling with the sea breeze as your choir and your very close family and friends only are the one you want to b the witness.
Just see the our photos as your reference...

Quiant hotel in SBFZ with a very homey & country feel. Interiors are country and very comfortable, like living in a country home. Clean and neat interiors. Staff are courteous, friendly and accommodating.

Rooms are comfortable (queen standard) with standard amenities including a personal ref. Bathroom is ok but very tight shower. Not recommended for big individuals. Hot & cold shower ver dependable. I hope that curtains are on the darker shade though, to blockout the very glaring morning sun.

Horizon Resto offers quite a number of choices. Complementary dinner tastes good.

Will surely make this place a home in Subic.

The hotel's ambiance feels like you are staying at home with lots of rooms. The atmosphere is homey as seen on the decors around the hotel. The staff are warm and friendly esp. at the restaurant. We opted to have the complimentary breakfast instead of dinner, I asked for hot water for my 8 months baby's food and the restaurant staff readily obliged.

It was a perfect weekend staycation with family and friends!

I think you’ll have to go out of the hotel premises to smoke, there is a huge open air parking area just across the hotel’s main entrance.

Can't help you, Althea I. When I stayed there, I was on the 3rd floor. But I don't remember seeing any guest rooms on the ground floor. I do recall that the stair case had fairly high steps, so you are right about being concerned about not getting something on the ground floor.
