First of all, the front desk staff are not very friendly, like they'd rather talk to the other staff than accommodate our check-in. Where other hotels' guest services employees make you feel at home immediately, Subic Bay Peninsular make you think "Ohgod, why did I book this place?" But, lobby was nice, so there. The hallway going to our room smell musty. The room was spacious, but a bit impersonal. The bathroom needs renovation, but it was big and toiletries were complete. We can hear people talking on the hallway while inside our the room. Pool water was clean, but no shade of any kind. Breakfast buffet was meh. Called front desk to request a pitcher of water on the day of checkout, no one came. We waited a long time to be checked out, around 30 minutes if I'm not mistaken.

Pros: spacious room; our room was provided with 4 complimentary breakfast even if booked via a travel website; nice and quiet location (but not recommended if you are there for the New Year's Eve street party); nice medium-sized swimming pool; daily housekeeping; complimentary breakfast buffet selection is so-so but acceptable for the room price Cons: bathroom has no bidet; only 1 free extra pillow is provided; deposit of Php2,000 is required even if the room has no bar; slow wifi; no elevator; no room service and hotel restaurant

pros: location is great..near Inflatable Island and SM Olongapo (walking distance to SM.I advise you to walk if you plan to go to SM since the hotel has limited parking space- about 11 cars capacity) swimming pool is small but I like the design. it has a kiddie pool and an adult pool plus jacuzzi above the pool. When we went swimming, the water was freezing cold maybe because it was already evening. But the experience was right though you have to walk back to the hotel with a bit of distance. the hotel has also a smoking area with the view of an open sports arena and the entrance of the hotel. It has also a gym on the ground floor although the equipment is limited. the room is spacious with complete complimentary toiletries as expected from a hotel. NICE CLEAN COMFORTABLE

Good location, near malls. The rooms are spacious and has all basic amenities. The hotel needs to improve in its cleanliness. The bathroom has molds all over. Hotel staff are friendly. Function rooms are not special. Food is so-so.
