The air conditioning unit in our first room on the third floor doesn’t seem to be functioning well enough. After two hours from checking in, the room is still not cold enough, it’s too hot that we had to take our top off.

The temperature on the second room that we also booked was okay. It got cold immediately after an hour or so, but the only issue was there was no wifi connection so we requested to be transferred. They accommodated us quickly and got transferred immediately.

Back to the first room, after two hours, we also requested to be transferred to anothe room. They transferred us on the second floor with a great air conditioning and a nice bath tub. The only issue is, there was no wifi. I didn’t bother calling the reception about the Wifi just to avoid getting transferred again.

Overall, the rooms are great for the budget.

They have free breakfast that doesn’t serve usual breakfast meals except for the eggs, longganisa, and tocino. They served teriyaki, spaghetti, etc. The food taste good tho.

Whenever we visit Subic, we often choose Mango Valley. They have other 2 more Mango Valley Hotels within Subic but the service is quite the same. Some have breakfast buffets and some are plated but they serve different home-made sausages. The rooms are spacious and clean, worth-it

Mango Valley Hotel 1 has become one of my to-stay hotels in Subic. Ambiance is great, and free Breakfast is order all you can, from diff. kinds of rice with egg meals, diff. kinds of Porridges, bread, and drinks. They have homemade tocino, bacon, and sweet ham. I guarantee that all their meats are homemade. I love their tocino over all together with 2 sunny side up eggs, and garlic rice. The rooms are great too! They are spacious, I love the rooms because it has a touch of wood and bricks, then there was a wood sofa bed too. Great value for money!

I've stayed at Mango Valley well over 100 nights over the past few years. I spend 1-2 nights in Subic every week for cycling and Audax Philippines has typically used this as our goto hotel. However, each week I stay now, something is wrong. Either no wifi or missing towels or missing toilet paper or dirty bathtub or front desk staff that don't know how to run a credit card .... I'm just tired of there always being something wrong.

A shame as I have stayed in many of the Subic hotels and MV used to be the best deal. Now I go and try the others again to find my new goto hotel.

Recent reviews describe deteriorating service and managment. This was my experience also. Overall, the hotel seems to be run completely by young people that don't have the attention to details a hotel needs. Requests to speak to the owner or manager were resisted. One request for maintenance was never conveyed to the mechanic as the "Ops Supervisor" was talking with employess and playing on his phone. Some of the rooms are over work areas and banging late at night and very early in the morning was heard. Overall, with the amount workers seen milling around doing nothing, the overall cleanliness of the property was not good at all. I would never stay here again!

We got the room with a king-size bed, a small snack area beside the window, a refrigerator, a big bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. It cost 2900, which was high, but I believe just right for what you get. No wifi in the room but wifi in the lobby and an internet cable in the room. Sheets were clean, thick blanket, soft comfortable pillows and the mattress was the right balance between soft and firm.

We travelled with our 6 month old baby and he slept very well. We arrived late night and after 1 minute of confusion with the attendant, he quickly found our booking. We were going to Anvaya the next day and needed a place to crash so that the baby can rest. It was a bit difficult to get to since it was hidden in a small street.

The free breakfast was pretty good. It was not a buffet but was unlimited as you can order anything from the menu and all was unlimited. The choices were a few traditional filipino meals, porridge, sandwiches and pancakes. As long as no leftovers, no extra charge. Then there were juices, tea and coffee. There was free yakult as well.

All in all, we were very very happy with our short stay. Our friends who passed by really liked the room as well. I highly recommend this place.

From our 10hour drive from Sagada, we headed to Subic bay to rest for the night. After going around, most of the hotels are full. So when we spotted mango valley hotel and they have available rooms, we decided to stay here as we were so tired. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. In the morning, we have free breakfast and they have a small dining area on the second floor. It was full. So wed decided to seat at the sofa. then we asked the waitress 3 times for the menu so we can have a look but they kept telling us "wait". They were standing right in front of us while they were talking to each other, ignoring us. This wasnt the "morning" i expected coming from a long trip. The waitresses were disgusting and i decided to walk out of the dining, stomping my feet going down the stairs. We told the guy at the reception about this and he just kept apologizing. Thats it. He didnt even tried to offer us any remedies for the inconvenience. We'll never go back here. stay away from this disappointing hotel!

Company booked this hotel for a business trip. Was happy about the location as it was close to harbor point mall and royal choices duty free was just around the corner.but pillows were so limited, an extra one would cost 20 pesos each. Extra blankets for my kids cost 100 pesos each and towels were 30 pesos each. In short, every additional thing asked has a corresponding charge. There are NO amenities in the room such as shampoo, toothbrush, etc. only a pair of sandals that are not even disposable thus, very unhygienic to use and a small soap for washing hands. Lastly, toilet bowl is busted. Like it doesn't even flush!!!! They had to do maintenance while we were staying in the room. The cheap price for the room is even expensive for what you would experience since i dont consider this a Hotel, rather more like an inn/motel. Never again will I recommend this hotel in our Company's list of accredited hotels.

The one I stayed in and reviewed is Mango Valley 3. But I also took pictures of the other building across. If I’m not mistaken, that’s the Mango Valley I.
