Astounding service and clean facility. They have different function rooms for meetings, intimate gatherings, corporate activities, and events. Guests are currently required to present a negative swab result as part of the local government’s protocol. This is located near establishments and they have an in house restaurant. We were able to find a discounted rate of Php2300 per night which includes the buffet breakfast which may also be requested to be served in-room. Staff and approachable.

We stayed in this hotel feb 1x2 2014 when my husband had his recon ride in preparation for challenge philipoines held feb 22. Family room is large, kids had fun swimming eventhough the pool is small. But the commendable part is when we were doing our checkout. The reception girl said , our account is settled but that i have to wait since they will return the ipad that we forgot. We stayed at room 8110. I can no longer remember the name of the room housekeeper (sounds like ermelinda) but i commend the hotel for having honest staff.

Have to stay here for 3 nights and 4 days....very horrible experience. Our room was located on the 3rd floor and they dont have elevators! For a 3 star hotel they dont have elevators! How inconvenient... You have to climb down the stairs everytime you take your breakfast on the 1st floor buffet style but the choices was very limited. So be sure you wont forget something in your room coz your get varicose veins in climbing their stairs up and down evry now and then. The airconditioning is centalized so its cold during dawn when the temperature outside is colder so naturally the temp in the room is freezing and we cant adjust the temp or turn off the ac and the woolen blanket just dont help, its so itchy to the skin and my allergic rhinitis just flared up adding more inconvenience. Room is so dark only lampshades are available no ceiling lamp. This hotel,is not service oriented...i will never recommend this to my friends!

We stayed here as an overnight stop on our way to another destination close to subic bay. This hotel is a great place to spend a night and we had exceptional service. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Philippines.

If you're looking for a good night sleep this is the right place. However, not all dishes served will make you happy. Yes they have no elevator, the pool is quite small and the wifi gets wonky but the clean surroundings and friendly staff will definitely give you the service you expect on a busy week.It was a wonderful Christmas experience and I will definitely go back to relax.

My only criticism regarding this hotel is that we were not informed beforehand that our room was situated beside a function room where there would be a Xmas party...their pools are ok, their buffet doesnot have much variation but is still ok,....not much to do in this area during the night but would serve the purpose of a good night's rest...

After an exhilarating day at Subic, we opted to stay in Subic for overnight. After checking 3 hotels, we finally settled with The Travelers Hotel.
Upon checking in, we were greeted with a smile and we were allowed to check the rooms first. The room is a little bit small with 2 double/queen size beds allowing at least 4 people in the room. The television is a 32 inch flat tv with cable ready. They also have Wi-fi in all rooms, free of charge. Breakfast is a little bit on the downside however, it comes free with your stay there. The bathroom is a little bit small though it is complete with amenities including sewing kit and comb. They also have a small pool (5ft) and gym for their guests.
The location is actually good. Across the hotel you will find one of the many duty free shops inside SBMA. The Baywalk is just 3 blocks away from the hotel, where you will find many restaurants and other activities such as Sunset viewing to name one.
The only bad comment i can give is that the walls are too thin and you can hear the sounds even from the upstairs function room. We were not able to sleep until 12mn when the noise died down from a party in their 2nd floor function area.
Anyhow, with the rate, service, location, amenities this hotel offer, i can say that this is still a steal.

If you are looking for a value for money hotel in Subic Bay, then Traveler's Hotel is the hotel for you. I stayed in this Hotel from November 30-Dec. 2, 2011. These were the strong points of the hotel:
1) Room rate was reasonable
2) Rooms were big, with clean sheets and towels, flat TV, refrigerator, safety deposit box, complimentary bottled water and coffee, etc
3) Bathroom/toilet was well-lit, complete with toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, comb, sewing kit, hair dryer
4) Right across the hotel were a duty-free shop, burger joint, restaurants, Havianas store.
These were the areas for improvement:
1) Bedroom was not well-lit. It only had light by the door, lamp on the study table, and another lamp on the night table. These were not enough to light the entire bedroom.
2) You would hear the noise along the corridor. You would hear the voices of people talking along the corridor.
3) Beds were too soft.
4) They should add more staff in housekeeping so that rooms will be made-up by noon. Mine was cleaned only after lunch.
