Stayed in a ground floor room with dilapidated buildings across the street. Booked last minute during a major holiday. Highlights: Staff was attentive and engaged. Breakfast buffet was diverse and well stocked. Food was fresh and cooked very well. Lowlights: -Dark musty room without windows or adequate air flow. Air felt stale. -Suspect cleanliness- spotted moth larvae on walls and stuck to mirror. -Awoke to the sound of scurrying animals in the ceiling at 6AM. -No sheet between fitted sheet and comforter. -No bottled water or robes. (Community water cooler in hallway) -Poor quality TV reception. -Very slow wifi internet. -Luke warm shower- hot water was not hot enough. Weak water pressure when faucet turned all the way to hot setting

Astounding service and clean facility. They have different function rooms for meetings, intimate gatherings, corporate activities, and events. Guests are currently required to present a negative swab result as part of the local government’s protocol. This is located near establishments and they have an in house restaurant. We were able to find a discounted rate of Php2300 per night which includes the buffet breakfast which may also be requested to be served in-room. Staff and approachable.

For this SBMA trip, I looked for a hotel we haven't tried. Renovated photos of Subic Bay Travelers Hotel looked promising. PROS: 1. Contemporary designed renovation of the lobby and all interior spaces of the hotel. New furniture and fixtures everywhere.  2. Big room with king bed with cushy beddings, huge flat screen TV with a wide channel selection. Cold AC, Safe, mini ref, elec kettle with coffee.  3. Several power outlets and located above the bedside tables height for easy access. 4. Very stylish cafe with good selection of food. We highly commend that the construction of the cafe worked around and saved the mature trees. The massive tree trunks added a unique feature.  5. Pool was adequate in size. Thanks for extending the pool hours while the wifi was being sorted out.  6. Resident manager DJ, FO Kamil and concierge Don were warm and accommodating. Thank you very much for making our celebration memorable.  COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Internet was very weak in room 201. WIFI signal only reached the first 2 meters inside the room. No signal from the bedroom. However, SBTH staff worked overtime and even transfered router nearer to our room but it took a portion of our time into this issue. Please look into a more permanent solution to the wifi challenge.  2. Hot water in the shower was not working. Called the FO to raise this concern and was advised that they will have the heater turned on. After a while, temp improved slightly and became tepid at best.  This should be an easy fix to avoid same in future.  3. Reception of TV channels were grainy/snowy. This should be an easy fix to avoid same in future.  In conclusion, 3 stars (average) for now but with these improvement points remedied, SBTH will be one of our go to hotels (definitely 4 stars) in the sub 3k price range.

The size of the room is very much okay. Linens are good and the room is exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable. Customer service is fine. A little improvement should be done with the breakfast.

This time, I had the opportunity to avail of an overnight stay at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel and Event Center in SBMA. My host office organized an event at the same hotel. I had the privilege of using a two-bed room. The room was good and well lighted. The comfort room is stylish. The floor of the hallway outside the room is carpeted. The food of the hotel was great. The organizer requested for Filipino viands that is why I loved the food. My overnight stay in this facility is good and worth repeating.

We recently booked a room in this hotel bec all the other hotels within Subic bay are already full. 1. Check in was a breeze. 2. Ample parking lot in front of the hotel. 3. Room is clean except for the molds in the bathroom. Has simple, minimalist vibe. Beddings are good. 4. All their rooms are for twin sharing (2 double beds) but they were able to move the beds together to accomodate us (we were with our 2 kids). 5. Room specs said there was supposed to be a hair dryer in the room but there was none. 6. Room has no view. No window. It can trigger claustrophobia but is good enough if you are out majority of the day and just want somewhere to sleep for the night. 7. The pool is cute but can be a bit crowded because it’s small. 8. We thought that their Breakfast buffet has very limited choices and not sulit for their asking price so we opted to go to the nearest convenience store. However, the rain is pouring hard when we check out so we decided to have our lunch at their restaurant. Food was great with big servings. 9. Most ( but not all) staff were courteous. Overall, we did not encounter major problem during our stay in this hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Clustered among other hotels near the SBMA main gate, Travellers hotel can provide you with good accommodation and a good jump-off point if you will go exploring the other Subic attractions. Rooms can be a bit far from the hotel lobby, and finding your room might be a tricky at first. But overall, this hotel can provide one a good night's rest.

The hotel's lobby and coffee shop looked newly renovated. Our room was on the first floor...going to our room - carpet had to be deodorized. Our room was clean though it needed more lighting. The bathroom is small...love it that they have hot and cold water. Aircon was just right not too cold. My kids went night swimming and pool water was warm...they enjoyed every minute of it. If I'd go to subic again, I would still stay here at this hotel. In addition the staff here were courteous and accommodating.

its an old hotel that had undergone a facelift. unfortunately the remodelling was only done on the lobby and public areas. If you are planning to go there and eat then its an ok place. Staying in one of the rooms there is a different matter. Although it had been painted the vinyl tiles in the rooms need to be replaced. It is full of scratches and looks really dirty. (maybe that is why they have only 2 lamp lights and a foyer light in the entire room). furnitures were placed in the room without any care of how it looks. Airconditioner was cold but casing was damaged. And you can hear karaoke music coming from the function rooms. the bathroom looks like it hasnt been touched since the us military was here 25yrs ago. Definitely not for one seeking a relaxing weekend. They assured me that they have nice rooms. just so happens they were full. Meaning I got a rotten deal. parking was also an ordeal since there were a lot of guests and limited parking spots. there was no one to assist in the parking. Guard says there was very few of them on duty. The hotel boast of being the only one with a big conference hall in subic. If you need to attend a conference here and get a room for free then I guess you have ni choice but to stay here. But if you have to pay for it with your own money you will be better off booking a room at the nearby hotels.

Subic has always been a good place to bring relatives from other parts of the country or from abroad. This was our second time at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel and we were surprised with the renovations which is both refreshing and relaxing. The hotel staff have always been amiable and always ready to serve us. We would highly recommend this to budget conscious but comfort seeking travelers.
