First we had a bit a noisy room but they transfer us inmiddiately to another room that was on a silent location so they fixed the problem very good, thank u for that. Rooms are clean, big and good aircon. Location is good nearby restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

We stayed at this nice beachfront hotel for 3 nights/ 4 days. Hotel staffs are very accommodating and warm (thanks to ed, cathy & jacky). Rooms are average but comfortable, bathrooms are clean thou without bathtub. Free parking is not a problem. The hotel is just a few steps away from Texas Joe’s Steakhouse (juicy ribs/ great steaks), and Seafood by the Bay. It is a short walk to the Oriental Casino and Gerry Grills. The Hotel Bar/ Restaurant has a great view of the bay where beach activities are held (jet ski, banana boat ride, beach volleyball etc). It is a walking distance to Pier One (if you want to listen/ dance to good rock and roll music), Guilligans (for acoustic band) and the Lighthouse Hotel (London Bar). San Roque Catholic Church is just a few blocks aways. The only downside, no swimming pool. I also suggested to their staff to replace their room carpet to either vinyl tiles or wood parquet considering this is a beach area. We enjoyed our stay at this friendly hotel (booked for 2 nights and extended for another night). What i liked best in this hotel? ....their location

I don’t usually post my hotel experience but this one is quite different.

Set for IM703 Subic... I overlooked that hotel accommodation in Subic will be full-packed that weekend to include our usual home, Mango Valley 1, 2 and 3. This lead us to Hotel Bahia.

- [ ] It would have been a wonderful experience to sum it all up. They have a well-maintained room, helpful room boys, a warm dining staff and the food is fine except for..
- [ ] the cold reception was noticeable upon first encounter with the receptionist. The clerk on duty was more keen on collecting payment and getting your conforme to hotel policies. Being in the hotel industry myself, I do understand, that such was probably a standard operating procedure (SOP) imposed by the management they have to comply to ... though asking how our trip was FIRST would have been better.
- [ ] We booked for 2 rooms and 2 nights requesting for a late check-out by at least 1pm on one room given that my husband is set to finish his event by 12 noon. Again, knowing that with a 2pm check-in time, a 1 hour make-up room before the next guest arrives is more than enough.
- [ ] What totally pulled off my cool was when my 11yo son called me at exactly 11:45 while i was waiting for my husband at the finish line of IM703 that a room attendant knocked at their door and told them that they have to vacate the room by 12:30PM otherwise our things will be brought out. My son totally freaked out, who wouldn’t .. Talking like that to an 11yo boy with his 8yo brother watching and my clueless hearing-impaired daughter was very irresponsible given the fact that they have my number from the day I made my reservation, where they followed up my downpayment and update my ETA.

I organised a 4Night stay here for my parent from Australia. From reservations to the actual stay went smoothly without any issues. The place is under new management with the owner extending her personal services to their guests. The room allocated to my parents was just renovated furnished with new beds, fresh towels, quality linen and guest toiletries. Very clean.
Breakfast was included and made it very convenient. They have restaurant on site. Close to Duty free, shops and other entertainment venues. Overall, my parents had a wonderful stay!

My elderly parents were so were so happy with their stay and recommended for me to stay here, too, next time we visit the Philippines.

we stayed for one night. when we arrived around 2pm at the inn, the front desk girl didn't even smile. she wasn't so friendly. when we got the keys, the things we noticed are the following: the bed cover or comforter was really worn out. the bed had bugs because when we woke up the next morning, my daughter got bit on her eye and other parts of her body. her eye is still swollen until now. my husband and i have small insect bites too. the towels looked so overused. the carpet had stains. the room was smelly. good points were it was near the beach, nice ambiance when eating in their outdoor dining area. adequate parking area. walking distance to restaurants, banks and stores.
hopefully the management sees this review. another thing, we don't like sleeping facing a door. we feel it's bad luck. hope they redesign or renovate the rooms. thank you.

We arrived 1am at the hotel but the receptionist and staff are still very alert (greeted us when we entered the premises) and they are very attentive to our needs. Its one of the cheapest in the Waterfront area, its a simple, one storey hotel, but it has the basic needs like safe parking space, comfy linens, ref, toiletries, wifi, cable and heated shower, even Safe! some fixtures needs minor repairs/repaint but it didnt affect our short but sweet stay. It doesn’t have a swimming pool though (but it didnt concern us anyway as we didnt intend to swim). Buffet Breakfast is good and delicious, especially the icedtea and coffee. What I enjoyed the most is that we just had to cross the street, literally, to get to the beach and enjoy the seabreeze and early morning walk. Staff are very courteous from the reception, to the restaurant. Check in and check out was a breeze too! Highly recommended!

Overall, the hotel is good value for money and I will stay there again.

The hotel is along the row of hotels facing along the waterfront. There are numerous restaurants in the area and the hotel itself has a restaurant (I wasn't able to try though bec we checked in late and checked out early).

Out room are simple, comfortable and clean. It still has the amenities of fancier hotels. There were no slippers when we went into the room but they will provide if you ask.

I travel a lot on business and I have a problem sleeping if the beds are not medium firm and the pillows not soft. I have to say that I had a good sleep which means the bed was good and the pillows nice and fluffy.

The hotel is just one storey high and the corridors are open air. The rooms surround a garden and it gives a nice airy feel to the place.

We checked out at 5am to go back to Manila which means we will miss breakfast. The night before we requested our breakfast to be packed to go and the lady at reception said it is not their policy but she will ask the manager. I was delighted that our breakfast was packed to go and delivered to our room just before 5am. The club sandwich was packed in plastic container and it was really good. I really appreciate for the care and extra effort.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. Eager to please I must say.

The receptionist Suzette was easy to talk to, made reservation a day before our trip via phone, got 2 rooms for 2 nights for a weekday rate on a weekend, when we got there a different receptionist was on duty who lacks the customer service, not accommodating and difficult to talk to. The room was okay for the price and the location is great (along waterfront rd). Especially with sctex will definitely go back to Subic and stay in boardwalk inn again. :)

I travelled with my husband and my son for the holy week. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in April 4-8, 2012. Here is what i think about this inn.

The good points are the price and location. The price is very affordable. It's the cheapest I found online along this area. It is about 2125 pesos a night with breakfast during peak season for a family of 3. They have limited parking space - only good for about 7-10 cars. The parking is NOT that secured but the Subic police always roam the area, so I guess it's ok. They also have free wifi, just ask the front desk what the password is. The wifi is strongest near the reception, so getting a room near the reception has an advantage. There's no bell boy that will help you carry your luggages to your room. You bring it, you carry it rule as you would say.

We were given room 102 - very close to the reception area. Wifi is great but very noisy at night. Our room is close to the boardwalk, were they always have an activity at night - so it was really hard to sleep with all the noise. Cleanliness was also a little problem. I am not expecting a 5 star cleanliness but it is a plus if it was. I don't think they do vacuum their run down carpets. When we tried moving the red chair at the corner of the room, we found a lot of dirt and even a dead cockroach. Although, they do change the towels everyday.

Staff is generally ok except the very cold reception lady at night. Their restaurant is undermanned. During our stay, there was only one or two waiter/s. So if the bar/restaurant is full of people, food comes in late and cold. The food was also inconsistent with the taste. You can choose either filipino or american breakfast. My son loves pancakes and fresh milk or hot chocolate so I pay extra for these. But when they run out, they don't try to replace them and made them available the next day. Always double check how much they charge you, there was an occasion that i almost paid double if I did not ask for the list of my orders.

Generally, it was an okay experience at this hotel.
