I called the number of the one in charge , she told me its 11k including 3 meals . Our food was so terrible its pre-cook and reheated . ( at home we cook fresh , we dont fry we grill ) So we come here spend more money to eat rubbish food mostly fry and pork. I ask her on our second night if we just take the room without food she told us not possible .
They serve food without giving us a choice.
like saying EAT THIS LIKE A SHEEP. I complain and she just said order on the menu and well charge you . ( really so what i just paid for?)
Checking out was a surprise they charge us 13888 per night . What a shock . !!! Dont wanna argue and just paid . We dont mind paying as long were happy leaving .

Cons: beach full or rocks . You dont wanna stay much on the beach
Pro : the rooms , ambiance the scenery was impressive.
Coming back? Maybe if we can grill our own food
All of the Staff was really nice aside from the girl in charge

After visiting this location, I was informed that they are closed for renovation. Both their day trips and the hotel on Grande Island are temporarily closed. The expected date for reopening is May or June of 2017.

I visited this location on February 18, 2017.

It's not as appealing as how it was advertised in their leaflet. The ferry leaving the mainland only leaves once a day so you're basically stuck in the island if you want to go back to the mainland.
The rooms are scattered all over the small island. It was a bit of a walk. When we got to our room, the airconditioning system did not work at all. It took almost an hour to actually tell us that we need to move to another room. They also did not just give us the key but we had to walk all the way back to reception to get the key considering it would've been easier if they did it as they had atvs.
The rooms were ok but would not rate it as a 5 star room. The bathroom and toilet though is nice.
They had a restaurant where they had a buffet dinner which we considered as average. It was mostly Filipino food. The fruit juices though were nice.
They did not have very much information provided in the rooms as to their facilities, things to do etc. We had to keep on ringing reception to ask them what they have in the resort.
Majority of the rooms are facing the water. However, the water opposite our room was dirty with a broken jetski.
The next day, again we had to walk to the reception to get stubs to use the banana boat and jet skis etc. You cannot also use these facilities all day they have a time limit.
We though enjoyed our banana boat ride and jetski hire.
We only stayed there for a day as we were heading to Manila. All in all, I would not recommend this resort to anybody as they have a lot of things they need to address before this place can be a classy resort.

I finally had a chance to visit this island a few minutes away from Subic Bay Freeport Zone Central Business area and I really had a great time. I didn't know that there is such a relaxing island resort hidden here in Subic Bay. The sand is not as white and as fine as Boracay's but I honestly think that its 100 times better than that in Zambales and in Bataan. and much lighter in color too. remind you, Don't forget to bring your beach shoes coz some parts of the beach is rocky before getting into the crystal clear waters in the island. I think that this island is for people who wanted to get away from their busy city life and enjoy a secluded island experience with comfortable amenities without sacrificing the modern convenience of a cellphone and data. You can also dip in their pool or take a historical guided tour in the island if you felt like too much sand and sun is boring you. they have excellent food and customer service too. I would definitely come back again.

My family wanted to visit a place that had many wonderful memories for my wife and my sister in law and her husband. We had been to grande island many years ago and loved it. The rooms were nice and clean the beaches were clean and the service was great.
What a disappointment when we visited after Christmas 2014. We arrived at the ferry terminal to book a place to stay for 7 of us. We asked for a 4 bedroom place and paid just over $400 US for ferry tickets and the room. It also included tickets for a free breakfast. we caught the last ferry to the island.
The problems started when got to our room it had one large room with 3 beds. Not the 4 bedroom place we paid for. We called the front desk and they didn't have a 4 bedroom and told us that they never had any 4 bedroom units. We explained what we had been told and all they would do was bring us a mattress to put on the floor for the fourth bed. There was no way to go back and they told us to talk to the staff in the morning. No one would fix the problem. So what we got was a 1 open room with one bathroom 3 beds and one mattress on the floor after being told we were paying for a 4 bedroom place. What a rip off! We were stuck so spent the night there. At 7AM we went to the eat breakfast and the place was still closed. We managed to get a worker to bang on the metal window until he woke up who ever was sleeping in the kitchen. A man came out and seated us at a table with a dirty tablecloth and no silverware or napkins and no coffee was prepared. After a long wait the food (fried eggs, sausage, fried fish, rice) arrived cold. The only thing that was hot was the coffee (one cup) and you had to pay for second one! Since the sausage and eggs were cold I asked for some hot ones and was charged for those also.
The beaches were filled with trash that had washed ashore and all the buildings were run down. When we asked the workers they said the place was bought out and there was new owners. It was obvious they had let the place go and the staff would not correct their mistake or reduce the charges after telling us we were getting a 4 bedroom place. I saw the trip advisor emblem and told them I was going to write this review and the lady said go ahead. She and her management would not do anything to reduce the charges or offer any resolution. It was obvious no one cared.

I would not recommend anyone go there. It used to be a great place and now it is a rundown ripoff.

We are currently staying here for 3days2nights. Far from the frist time I went here 5yrs ago. The ferry did not leave on time, (sched 2:15PM) waited until 2:40PM because there were late comers. Arrived around 3PM. Place looks really old. Beach, no shoreline... rocks are all over the beachside. Snorkeling area, did not enjoy it at all. IN fairness, life jackets are great and snorkels are in good condition. Resort is not maintained properly. Pool is ok but the beach inside the resort is not operational. No water at all. Service this is my favorite part of my story. We requested to clean our room but they did not come at all, we want to request for new towels.. no one came to change it. Food in the restaurant (buffet) were not fantastic.. they were just ok. Drinks are not refillable, one juice per meal and they call it juice(taste like powder juice mixed in water). Prices are overrated! Staff are far from friendly, yes there were some that are very commendable but most of them forgot that their job is customer service... We have 12 tickets for banana boat ride (groupof 6pax) so 2 rounds each. They wont allow 5 or more to ride at the same time. So we decided to do it in 3's so a total of 4 rounds. The first 3 rode, then the next 3 - two ronds are down. Our next round is about to start and the man who assist guests who will ride their banana boat is rude when he found out that we will still ride our next round - he said " dapat hindi na kayo bumaba kanina dapat tinuloy nyo nalang para hindi nyo pinahirapan ang driver namin, dapat ganun mag isip" well, we wanted separate rides and its our ticket and that is how we want to use the ticket. 4 rounds in total for group of 3s. He should have not commented like that! We are guests who wanted to have fun that 's the reason we are on a vacation! Today is our last night, we went to the resto to eat (buffet) checked the resto. no one's there. asked the waiter and said that they will prepare the food. so we checked what are the food in the buffet table. we saw a macaroni with a FLY inside the bowl. there's this man/waiter - not the guys in green shirt, i think he is wearng the red floral shirt - came in advised us that the food will be replenished and told us to wait and sit first. ok we are more than willing to do that but I also tried to get his attention re the macaroni. I told him "excuse me, the macaroni has a fly" and before I finished - he said... "maam, its natural to have a fly, fly is just part of the nature". I told him that yeah, I know but the FLY is inside the macaroni bowl. He said that "ok will just change". AGAIN, may I reiterate that their job is customer service. No matter how busy they are, we are also guests in their resort and we are entitled to be treated well. He should have let me finished what I wanted to say and not LECTURED me about FLY is Natural to be flying in their resto. My point is that its not just flying its inside the bowl!!!! Damn!!! Am not stupid not to know that... we still have until lunch tomorrow and I dont know if they can still change OUR mindset about this resort!!! I will surely not stop telling this story to all my friends and friends of my friends!!! May not affect them too much but at least people will know what they have in here!

Food was good and was priced reasonable. They were having lots of improvements being made at the time we visited. Service was good as well. To get to the island, you need to go through their Getty at the main land of subic. The boats were well kept.

I was here when it was newly opened several years ago and the excuse was that it was bad necause it was newly opened. It's now even worse. Very disorganized check-in, their ferry seems to be poorly maintained. Food was unsanitary, literally a hairy experience. Rooms were dirty and all the poor harassed but hard working staff had was a dirty rag and cleaning solution. They use the same rag to wipe the toilet and your tables. Yuk!

Everything that a management can do good to make a great vacation experience on this island was completely missed. This offer is all take for the resort, all for their gain. The facilities are not well maintained. Ferry is an hour late, then another hour delay due to technical problems. Air-condition in the ferry was just not working that in the middle of the heat of summer. Upon docking, no one from the reception tells you where to go. Everyone does his/her own enquiries, actually there was no one welcoming you and guide the guests how to check-in to think that the cabins are very far from the docking station.

We got our cabin key from the reception building and walked ten minutes. They seem to be ok from the outside but once we got in we checked the room and toilet and bath, voila!!! The toilet smelled so bad like public toilets do we needed to report it and had to wait up to an hour before they cleaned it. The next thing we discovered was cigarette butts and ashes in the drawer, no towels provided and we had to wait another hour. thats fours lost!!!

FOOD:
Food is inclusive of price and taste is not that bad, but one will expect better food being served for the high price. This resort does not serve brewed coffee. This resort does not serve brewed coffee, for the three thousand a night you are paying you'll get an instant 3-in-1 instant coffee you can buy in supermarkets for 10 pesos. I heard from some guests that they limit serving of drinks, juice, to one glass... :(

Beverages:
every thing you buy extra will cost you a lot since they monopolize the market on the island.

At the end, if you are there already the only way you can enjoy your stay is to be one with nature, otherwise your vacation is gone. One of the guests I talked to wanted to go back to Subic immediately the same hour when they arrived. This is how bad this place is for the money they are raking in from their guests.

Me and my wife were looking for a place to relax. My friend told me before that this place is good and private but we were disappointed when we stay for a night. The place has all the potential to be a great resort but it is poorly maintain. Its like a ghost town now contrary to what my friend told me. The staffs/crews are like force to serve because they cannot get our orders right. And also it looks like their managerial staffs are using their suite because there are people knocking on our door looking for them. It is also overpriced, not worth it. If you like fishing may be this is the place to be but dont stay get out of the island before the sun goes down. This is the FACT!
