Hotel property is located on the highway and close to Mc Donald’s, Tim Hortons, Burger King and a Pizza Hut dinning experience we will not repeat!
As platinum members we were pleasantly surprised and very appreciative of the early 1:00 PM check in granted by the front desk via the app!
Our King Size Suite was standard Fairfield Inn accommodation’s with a comfortable couch and living area adjacent to a king size bed.
Unfortunately, the room featured what has now become the new standard bottom numbing comfortless desk chair that is now prevalent to the Fairfield Inn chain. A chair obviously not geared to the business traveller and those in need of using the desk during their stay.
Disappointing on arrival to jump in the shower and find the shampoo bulk dispenser empty…. The front desk has a supply, however it is quite annoying to have to either get out of the shower and make the call for a basic stay necessity or forgo the hair wash. Breakfast started about 15 minutes late (6:15AM) and was a pretty basic consisting of mostly tasteless grab and go fare offering.
While many properties these days are risk managed due to being short staffed it is surely not conducive to client satisfaction and loyalty – This property suited our one night stay and we thank the friendly personable staffs for their friendly and personable efforts!

We stayed over the July 28th-July 29th 2022. We had 1 room for 5 people. The room was very nice and had lots of space. The pool while it was small it is still nice and did the job. The breakfast was also nice each morning. We had stayed in Canton as it was cheaper than staying in Alexandria Bay. We took a day trip to Alexandria Bay to go to Boldt Castle as well as do some shopping. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We only had 4 towels in the room but after going swimming we asked the front desk for an extra towel and they gladly gave one to us.

Upon arrival early our room was ready and waiting. Went to check the room and found some items not up to the standard we enjoyed on our previous stays at this hotel. Went to front desk with pictures of our concerns and the lady in charge said she would have all issues corrected. Left for a hockey game and upon return all of the issues were addressed. The staff left a bag of goodies for us. Found 2 more minor issues that was taken care of the next day. Allison the general manager took very good care of us. Will forsure stay here again. Trying for rooms 2/7/20 and 2/8/20. Amy was also very friendly and helpful.

Place is nice. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was a joke. My wife and I had fun watching the disappointment of guest after guest as they perused the lack of breakfast. No spoons, no milk. I had some nice dry special k. The employees are very nice.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Canton to visit our daughter.
This hotel met all of our expectations and exceeded most of our expectations. The check in was quick and efficient. We were in our room within 10 minutes of checking into the hotel. The rooms were clean and larger than we expected. The bathrooms were very nice. The bathroom door is a standard door, which is uncommon in newer hotels since most are designed with the barn door style or a glass door. Each room has a refrigerator and a microwave in them. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable, so we slept well.
The fitness center was very good. All of the machines were in working order. The added benefit here is that the elliptical machines have a large selection of TV channels to watch while working out, so there is no temptation to cut your workout short. There is a large selection of free weights too.
The breakfast / lobby area is very nice and well maintained. There is an outside dining area with a nice gas firepit.
As with all Fairfield Inns, the breakfast is marginal. This is nothing against this specific hotel, but that is true at all Fairfields.
The manager, Allison, is very nice and responsive.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

Great place. Clean rooms. Very accommodating staff. Breakfast nicely presented. Newer facility. Parking well designed. Second time staying there. Would highly recommend this location. Rooms are quiet. AC unit was quite. Location tricky to see you might miss the road sign.

Quite a decent place to stay overnight. Did not try the breakfast as it ended already at 10.00. Good with parking spaces and proximity to restaurants and fast food chains. Short way to the university area. Large rooms with easy climate management. Slightly poor cleaning and soap, shampoo and conditioner smelled old.

We have stayed here a few times when visiting Canton. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Being new everything is clean. We found the hotel relaxing safe, quiet and have gotten a good night's sleep. Our go to hotel when not traveling with our puppy!

Hotel is brand new and is definitely the nicest in the area. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. We quite enjoyed our stay. Great location if you’re visiting St. Lawrence. It’s just a few miles away from campus. We will definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed a one night stay. The room was immaculate. Beds are SUPER comfortable and as a person who does not sleep well, I had one of the best night's sleep in months. Location is certainly easy to find. Parking is ample. The staff was great! From the initial call to make a reservation to check in and check out, everyone was great. Breakfast had more than enough variety and thanks to the Breakfast Hostess---worked very hard to be sure everything was well filled and very clean.
