The Resort is located on Tablas Island, Province Romblon. Tablas is the biggest island in the province. You can reach that place via aircraft from Manila (Terminal 4 – Domestic Terminal) to Tugdan Airport (Tablas). From there it’s about 40 min by car. Furthermore you can reach the place via ferry. “Montenegro-Shipping Line” (daily except Tuesday), “Super-Shuttle RORO” (every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and brand new on schedule is the "2 Go" (Tuesdays and Fridays). All Shipping Lines proceeds Batangas to Odiongan. From Odiongan (Poctoy Pier) you need about 20 min by car to that nice place. Pick up service is optional. Just give us a call. The Resort is at the beach of Bunsoran (municipality of Ferrol), called Binucot Beach. On the land is a one storey main house, a garage with personnel flat and 4 hotel rooms (Double Room, additional air bed is possible). The Bar and the main house are faced to the water front. The hotel rooms are in the back yard. All rooms are air conditioned and with hot and cold shower. Additional features of the hotel rooms are TV/DVD and fans. (Many music and movie DVD´s in English, German and Chinese language are available).Beside the main house is a side terrace with a sweet water swimming pool (33m²) From the Bar you can have an incredible sunset view. There is also a guest CR. In front of the Bar is the beach (10 m).The area is surrounded with a fence; on the right side is another Resort. The back side is a development area. The area is protected by own personnel.Warmly welcome, have a nice stay….Honeymooners welcome

We had an amazing time! Location was perfect for a getaway. The bar has an amazing ambiance as well at the MASSIVE draft beer! :)
they provide generous serving for your meals that you'd be satisfied as well as the delicious authentic German cuisine we had. The staffs were doing an amazing job too plus their very friendly. Makes the place great to hang out and relax.
Definitely a wonderful place to visit. You'll have to come back when you visit.

We have been coming here since 2011 and it keeps getting better.
Our primary reason for coming to Binucot Beach is for the pristine beach, beautiful water, ocean breeze, no pollution & no crowds.
Food is deliciously home made (don't expect it to be fast food).
Drink Menu is fantastic & the owners will join you for story telling and evening cocktails.
Swim in the Ocean or Swim in the fresh water pools.
Rooms are air-conditioned, comfy and clean

Binucot Beach Resort can be approached the long way as I did from San Augustin after travelling fromRomblon Island on Montenegro Lines' ferry, or the shorter 18 kilometre or so trip from Odiongan town, which is served five times a week through its Poctoy Port by excellent ferry operator 2 Go,or three times a week by Philippine Airlines to Tablas Island although of the two,the bus to Batangas,Luzon and the 2 Go ferry is far more enjoyable.
The resort is four motel like first floor rooms (no lift) plus two ground floor rooms, the latter in a beachfront house.
It is all set in abeautiful white sand cove with a very clean beach. It is reasonably rocky so bring your reef shoes. There are quite a few corals but not huge numbers of fish: for the latter, travel a further 15 or so kilometres to Looc Pier where the Looc marine Sanctuary (P100 entrance for the eight minute bangka trip to the covered pontoon with steps into the water) is located.
The resort has itslarge nipa style beachfront restaurant serving excellent, good value food. A filling huge dish of 'chop suey' (vegetables) with chicken strips was P240. A San Miguel Light beer, always a good drop, was P45 while a gin and tonic was P60. Australian Angus steaks are available:Rip Eye is P145 per 100 grams- pretty reasonably priced.
There are two upmarket beachfront nipa huts while a small swimming pool is between the restaurant and the motel type rooms.
My room had fairly effective airconditioning but the large fan should be turned on to ensure that you are cool. The bed was thick foam (not my favourite) with comfortable pillows.Top and bottom sheets were green in colour and OK.
The room was rather dark. It had a bamboo table and two chairs. The Phillips television did not receive any channels but the owners have installed a DVD player and one can borrow free movies or music.
The floors have large, modern ochre coloured tiles. The bathroom was also tiled (but in black.) The shower delivered effective hot water as did the vanity basin tap. The shower was not screened from the rest of the bathroom. There were openable louvre windows in the bathroom and shelving for luggage and clothes in the bedroom, plus some hangars.
The room lacked a safety deposit box or a minibar, both of which would be useful additions. There was a good Firefly emergency torch that proved handy for the three or four brief brownouts but they may have a generator as the power was soon on again each time.
The owners are building new villas at the rear of the property. Two are completed, with two more underway. The latter are two units to a building.Up to 14 will rise depending on demand.
The included breakfast was very good with two pancakes(large) including cut banana and mango, plus hot chocolate, being my choice. I had a choice of four syrups or toppings such as banana, apple and cinnamon (Clara Ole brand.)
A tricycle to Odiongan typically costs P400 but one gent brought me back for P300. A trike from Looc town back from the fish sanctuary cost me P350. The road in both these areas is partly under repair with some rough gravel sections. It is allegedly the worst on Tablas Island. Organising a tricycle can take some time.
There is a Travel Buddy dive centre next door run by an Australian woman who operates through Binucot Sunset Cove Resort.
Overall this is very good accommodation reasonably priced at P1800 a night. You won't get a perfect sleep here (the aircon has alarge room to cover) but you will have a very satisfactory experience with the beach and food two highlights, plus looc's fish sanctuary.

We stayed at the neighbor´s place called Binucot Sunset Cove Resort, both places work together, so I leave my comment here. We checked in for 3 nights, nice and very comfortable and modern bungalows (we had the bigger ones), very friendly staff and Willy & Michaela are extremely helpful and looking after you from early in the morning till late night. Great food, try out the Sisig Chicken!! Very recommendable!

The ressort is relatively new built with a high standard in terms of phillipean quality - as we had a look into other accomodations on Tablas we can confirm that binucot is definetively the best on the whole island - A big recommendation - go for it !

A very wonderful place. Uwe and Peter are strong and lovely hosts. Every question and need was answered and provided quickly and efficiently. These two Germans know how to provide a well needed break from the real world. These guys really care about their guests.
The food and service was perfect and the cold beer did not stop flowing. I can't wait to go back and see our new friends.

I spent a week at this resort. I can't say enough good about the owners, staff, and facilities. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable (even air conditioned). Food and drinks were well prepared and waiting for them in the tiki bar area was a pleasure, unless you don't like the sound of small waves lapping the beach only a few meters away.
The owners were very accommodating. They even accompanied me on a 200 km motorbike tour of the island.
Prices were very reasonable and in fact, if I owned the resort, I would raise the prices to line up with the value the customer is receiving.
Only gotch ... bring Philippine Pesos as there is not credit card service and the ATM machine in town doesn't accept all cards.

We planned a two night stay at Binucot Beach Resort before we went to Boracay -It was a great move!
We arrived mid afternoon on a Tuesday dropped off our bags, changed and went straight to the beach -on our way to the beach we stopped by the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had San Miguel on draft. We had to get two to take to the beach.
We enjoyed the beach and ordered some burgers and more beers -great way to relax and get into the beach vibe.
Our second day was much of the same -Morning breakfast on the beach, we chose to use the cabana this time and took our talents to the beach, walking to the outter sand bar island on the right side of the beach -swimming, playing music, laying out and enjoying the sun.
The staff was great and very helpful, we wish we would have partaken in some of the water sports but we were just fine being beach bums and drinking ice cold draft San Miguel.
Let Peter and the great staff at Binucot help you enjoy the beach treasures Romblon has to offer.

Our family really enjoyed our 4 days at Binucot, Uwe, Anna our hosts, Lynn and Jhen, all made us feel welcome. Resort location on the beautiful beach area was like paradise. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was good, draught beer on tap was nice and cold ! I would highly recommend this place, we hope to return on next trip to Philippines.

I am building a house on Tablas and must be there quite a lot to watch over it. During my stays I have been staying at this resort and what a wonderful relaxing place it is. The rooms are new and quite comfortable with air conditioning. For roughly $40/night including breakfast it's a great deal. But the best part are owners, Peter and Geraldine. They are two very nice people that really make your stay pleasant. The food and the drinks are also very good.

Hi, we don't offer island hopping, but we know someone Additional to our 26" bicycles we have one 16"for kids, Uwe, binucot Beach resort
Hello, it's about 35 km. The public transportation needs round about 1h (about 350 Pesos per head). We also can fetch you for 1000 Pesos up to 4 pax (40 min).
Safe travels
Peter
How to come over:
You can reach our place from Manila by ferries or aircrafts. The air traffic is back since March 2015. Cebu Pacific serve Tablas (Tugdan Airport-TBH) 4 times a week (We,Fr, Su and Mo) from Manila (MNL) Terminal 4 (Domestic Terminal).
Furthermore direct to Tablas Island proceed "Montenegro-Shipping Line” daily 5 pm, and "2Go Ferry" 5 times a week. All those shipping lines proceed between Batangas and Odiongan. To reach Batangas/Pier is easy by several bus lines with air-conditioned coaches (for example Manila Coach Station “Bundia/Taft”; “Ceres-Liner”, “DLTB” or “Jac-Liner”).
From Caticlan (Boracay) you can come by “2Go Ferry” or with a daily scheduled pump boat from Caticlan to Looc and 3 times a week from Caticlan to Santa Fe at the southern tip of Tablas. Starlite Ferry, (daily) runs between Roxas (Mindoro) and Odiongan . Between Romblon II and San Agustin is Motenego Shipping Line and several other pump boats (daily). Sibuyan Island is also connected to Tablas by “Montenegro Shipping Line” from Magdiwan (daily 11am) via Romblon II to San Augustin.
From Odiongan Pier and Looc/Pier you need about 20 min by car to reach Binucot Beach Resort and from Santa Fe or San Agustin (in the northern part of Tablas) you need about 1,5 hours to that nice place.
HAPPY TRIP
Hello Pia.
thx for inquiry. Yes, relaxing on a weekend is perfect here, because PAL offered flights Friday and Sunday. Otherwise you can travel by ferries every day from/to Batangas. Also you can combine your trip with a stay on Boracay. Its only 2 hours by boat from our place.
More questions? Dont hesitate to call us. (Geraldine 09186331643 or Anna 09288288681)
Looking forward to see you here.
