The room that they have was basic and well ventilated. I love the flooring which is made of bamboo, the wall is made of light wooden materials and the thatched roof is made of nipa. There is a queen-sized bed in the center covered by a white mosquito net, facing the sliding glass door with the view of the garden and ocean. There is a private toilet with hot and cold shower too. Service is superb! The location is very relaxing, You will hardly hear any noise during night time
Sometimes with your only potion being this resort, it'll be negative right. But no, it was good thing. The place is very nice and i like how everything was set up. Truly peaceful and we were the only guests last week. We enjoyed the how we were taken care of by the staff. Due to brownouts, there was no water so this lady staff fetch us gallons for our needs. Also she cooks amazing meals for us. Taste good really, knowing how picky i am when it comes to food. The beach is not white sand but you will be amazed at the rock formations and mangrove nearby. Crows perch upon these rocks and make some noise but they were not noise to me. Fruit trees nearby are also a haven for small birds. It was so perfect to me. We only had 1 night there but this is a recommended resort in Tablas.
We met a young Woman at Caticlan port who advised Us of this resort. We would not have Sought it out otherwise. Quiet laid back place with the most stunning views. Private beach and good swimming. We loved this place with its simple cottages. Excellent wifi. The bonus however is the fantastic food cooked by Lori the manager. Pretty gardens where you can chill out. Overall a great experience. Thank you for a lovely time Lori.
This is a lovely small family run hotel with bamboo cottages, each with a shower room, fresh clean rooms that are beautifully designed and a veranda on which we sat sipping cold beer whilst watching the sunset over the sea. The garden sits above a small private cove where we spent alot of time snorkelling but also has access also to a long white beach with a mangrove swamp and fishing boats. In the cove there is a small rowing boat that the resort lend to their customers to explore more of the coast. The service of the hotel is excellent, the owners and their staff go out of their way to ensure you are having a nice time. They made our children fresh banana and mango milkshakes, bought me a birthday cake and took my husband to the doctor when they were concerned that he may have caught an infection from cut on his leg. They were also a fantastic source of local knowledge. We visited a beautiful hidden waterfall on their recommendation, we also had a great day out on Fabio's fishing boat which gave us a chance to see some of the other islands. The food was a really interesting mix of Italian and Fililpino and most of the fruit and veg was home grown. We would highly recommend this hotel both as a place to chill out and enjoy the immediate surroundings and from which to explore the island. Our children miss playing with the chickens, goat, turkeys and most of all Bugs, the dog. Thank you Fabio, Marzia and Baize, for a great holiday.…
