Visitors from Britain, this was our eleventh safari trip over the years and our fifth in Sabi Sands. All the private lodges are high quality and the game viewing usually very productive, so comparisons are best based on the setting and the service. Chitwa Chitwa...More

We stayed at Chitwa Chitwa for five nights. It was our first (but definitely not last) visit to Africa and we had an exceptional time. Chitwa’s location on a large dam makes game viewing a nonstop activity. Herds of elephant were a daily afternoon enjoyment,...More

Thank you so much for the kind words.
It was our absolute pleasure to have you at Chitwa.
We hope to see you again soon.

Summer months are very hot so please bring summer clothing with you. For the evenings I would suggest a warm jacket, light jersey (for the odd cooler days) and long pants. At least one pair of closed shoes for the evenings for when we have events in the bush. Sunscreen, a hat, swimming costume, mosquito repellant (although we do have at the lodge) is a must. Laundry doesn't have any restrictions and is collected in the morning and evening. Generally, if we don't have a rainy day, you should get your laundry back the same day. We do not have any dry cleaning facilities nearby so please take note of that when you select your clothing.
I hope that helps. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.
We look forward to meeting you.
