I must say we didn't stay over in the rooms. But we visited the place and eat at the restaurant. The place is very nice with lots of shadow and romantic lighting at night. The style is Spanish style. Surely on our next trip we gonna stay over at this hotel. The restaurant is great. With many dishes also accomodating foreigner tastes. I enjoyed a nice steak which was 2 years ago since I live in the province. The hotel is right at the beautiful beach of Subic Bay. During our visit it was not busy. So highly recommended. We didn't see a pool.
Stayed in this beautiful small resort, had so much fun with my friends, homey kind of feeling, yard full of plants, delicious food they serve, more of Mexican and other things,my fav is sautéed clams,Friendly stuff and owner.Affordable accommodation,I highly recommend this place for family and individual who wants to unwind.
I did not expect much when I booked thinking the photos just showed the good side of this resort. But I was surprised with this resort. Coming from the highway, I felt that I entered a different dimension when I came in as I saw the really nice view of the beach. When my family went to the beach, I was amazed with the fine sand. It was such a relaxing stay. Visitors have the option to eat out or dine in the resort. Food price is not that expensive. The room was comfortable, aircon is cold. Water pressure in the shower is not that strong. Their water pump had problem during our stay.
My favorite resort in Barretto has a lucious garden setting. The beachside dining feels very romantic and the food is good. Every staff member made a sincere effort to make our stay special. Family owned and operated..... You can feel the difference! AAA satisfied guest. We will return soon.
This hotel is located right on the beach front and deserves a good review. Unfortunately the hotel itself needs a lot of renovations. The owner is an elderly lady who is trying her hardest to make this place as pleasant as possible also deserves credit. She is a wonderful host who talks to her customers and makes them feel welcome and at home. The room is very basic and smells musty. No tea or coffee making facilities but they gave us a thermos for hot water. The restaurant serves nice food and good portions of serving. The beach is polluted. Most of the sewerage goes into the sea. We saw some locals and visitors swimming, but personally I wouldn’t. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. Many thanks to Connie.
I only called in here for lunch. I have been meaning to look at room prices and quality but have not got around to it yet. As far as the restaurant is concerned, I always pop in here for at least one lunch every time I have been in town for the past 10 years. My meal of choice is a beef burrito which is always very pleasant and tasty.
We stayed in a deluxe room that had a veranda. It was spacious, the bathroom clean and there complimentary coffee and cinnamon roll for breakfast for 2. The beach was ok. Pretty clean and the water was clear and cool enough to swim in. The food in the restaurant was very expensive. Tip. There is a 7–11 less than 50 meters to the left side of the road. There is also a small bakery that sells hot pandesal in the morning. And the guards don’t mind if the guests bring food back to their rooms.
Little jem in Barretto. Med sized, quiet resort with fantastic beach front patio/restaurant. Fair amount of parking. Check in painless, got a room, found it quite spacious with couch and enclosed small private patio that is really quite useless other than a place to have a smoke if needed. It does have window so you can have loads of natural light in room. Bed is comfy and has an excellent a/c. Response to problems were immediate. Staff are friendly and helpful and quite secure. No room safe but have safety box at front desk. Approx. 280 peso room key deposit. Shower is large, two shower head options with instant water heater, pressure is iffy .. think it depends on if someone is watering property. Not a issue since the massive plant displays throughout property is lovely. No accessories other than soap. No facecloths. Bidet toilet. Food good but pricy, focuses on Mexican with other options. Beach shower, pool table. In middle of action with multiple bars, girlie bars, convenience stores and restauants within easy walking distance, it still provides a nice oasis.…
We booked for 2-family room on November 2018. Housekeeping staff gave us a warm smile as we arrived. The hotel is on the road and therefore, easy to find. The restaurant has a stunning beach and mountain views. The rooms are clean and spacious. The stay could have been better if the Reception and restaurant staff provides a warm and friendly atmosphere. They never smile at us as we walk in to the hotel and in the restaurant until we checked out although we gave them initial smile. It’s a bit pricey as well.
so i got here after dealing with a so so i decided to go there after dealing with something at a nearby resort. got hungry then i remembered someone told me that this place serves quality burger. so i thought, i must try it. parking area wasnt bad. manong security guard was nice as well. front desk staff was accommodating but didnt sound friendly that time. so i got a glimpse of the resto, its an open resto and bar situated right at the beachfront, so it was really a good time to spend the humid afternoon, got there around 5pm by the way, but the sun was still up, strong and it was really hot. i saw few guests mostly foreigners- couples and a group. so i got to the bar and asked the barista if they had a terminal for debit/credit cards and yes they had cause i didnt bring much cash with me that time. and then i dine in. got a perfect spot of the beach so it was cool. so i got the menu and saw the burger- its called Ninas Burger - ground beef with bacon mixed together, TLC, and fries- not bad. so i called the waiter, and asked him if this burger is their best seller? he politely replied, "sorry ma'am im just new here. i dont have any idea." i said ok no problem, then i ordered. plus a green mango shake. so i waited for about 10-15 mins. took photos of the beach while waiting and just chill. then the burgers came up. it looked nice and big enough for me. it wasnt that fancy nor enticing but it really smells good. at first bite, it gets even better. i liked it then sipped a bit of green mango shake, it was awesome! perfect combination for me at that time. at 270pesos, not bad. so all in all it was a nice experience. ill definitely comeback and bring my family and friends with me. one thing though since i stayed for a while at sunset, there were flies and forgot the english term for gamugamo. theres a lot. so i dont recommend you stay longer than 6pm in this area. you wont enjoy it. thats it. thanks for reading!…
