This is a nice hotel right at Subic Barangay beach. Nice white sand. There is a pool. It is a nice 3-4 star place and definitely a place on my regular shortlist. Rooms are ok size although not very big. The bathroom we stayed was a bit outdated with an old style bath. Which nobody uses anymore. Many choices of bars and restaurant close by. Relaxing.

The room was comfortable but somewhat small for the price paid. Bathroom size was adequate. Wifi and airconditioning were nice. The free breakfast had a very limited choice and the quantity was also less. I had to order extra in order to have a complete breakfast. My bathroom (room 102) had a constant dirty smell. Even after complaining, the smell remained throughout the stay.

I traveled for my company business trip and stayed here @ room no 105. The beach view is very good and nice people on the front desk and the restaurant. This was my third visit to the same hotel as I have client there in Subic. I have been visiting there since 2007 few times the rate is also reasonable for the rooms.

I went there with my 5 year old son, the woman and her 25 year old daughter. We had breakfast and the food was ordinary and overpriced. I ordered pancakes and it barely had syrup on it. Ask for more and they have me some on a small platter should have asked for the bottle which was not on the table. Rented a bit for ₱500 to get shade from hot sun. They will not let the 2 women use the CR or outside shower unless we stayed at the hotel. Goes to say, we will never go back there again!

This hotel has a few things going for it, the location is excellent, the gardens and pool area are well maintained and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that's all its got going for it.

The room we stayed in was very small, VERY tired and run down and in need of a total refit. The shower could not have been in worse condition, I would have preferred a bucket of warm water to shower with. The shower head (which the mounting bracket was broken) had so little water coming out you seriously could not get wet and I had to take a bath to wash my hair. Because of the broken bracket the water was either shooting at the wall or out of the bath.

As I said the staff were super friendly and I felt very sorry for them when their old grumpy Japanese manager would wonder around barking orders at them......mate the war is over, they are not your slaves anymore. Seriously never seen anything like it, if a manager has to talk or shout at his staff do it in the office NOT in the middle of the dinning room when I am having breakfast.

The hotel was $55AUD a night......if this was in Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam it would be in the $15 to $20 range, outrageously over priced. The food was a little expensive too but it was actually very good.

Only stayed 2 days and could not wait to get out of there, I feel sorry for the staff that work there and wish them all the best as there were so good.

I was there for three weeks, from the office staff to the security guard, they were always ready to run the extra mile in order to make we guests feel like we were home away from home. They took good care of the cleanliness of the rooms, even set up the tvs, fill the minifridges, plus we use a couple of times the outdoor area, they were very cooperative, very helpful, that some day when i"ll return back, I'll be there for sure.
Food was good, beach is nice, security is great, female staff are pretty, male staff are friendly, prices are ok.
You can ask for anything more.

stayed for many years at suzuki as per previous reveiw. was great back then and even when the japanese daughter ran it with miss anne it was good but things have change the price for the rooms now are among the highest in the area you are lucky to get hot water after 10 am with little pressure .the rooms are very old and tired.the bathrooms need renovating and the mould is very bad in the bathrooms beds are hard and i bring my own pillow
the garden is great
the only thing saving the hotel is the staff. house keeping, wilfred, miss anne and front staff great but the turn over of staff is great i wonder why.
their taxi service to manila etc is expensive but the driver brother in law to the owner is great we always use him
will we stay again i dont think so

Nice staff, location close to beach so it has potential. No elevator so be of good health if you get a room in 3rd floor. Located close to beach but the 40-50 meters road down to hotel is not so nice. Smelly. Drunkards sitting at a simple beer-bar at the entrance.
Menu is very japanese. Rooms needs upgrading now.

Rooms are clean but small. The pool needed cleaning. The beach was okay, needs cleaning from plastic wastes. The food at the restaurant was pricey. Japanese dishes was note good, quality not worth the price, bento box @P450. I do not think the food was cooked by a Japanese chef. We also tried the Filipino dishes, the local fish was good except that the choice of vegetables they added did not match.
Sad to see bystanders near entrance, they even smoke and smell goes to the restaurant. Waiters who bring menu do not know the dishes, seems like they are trainees, so that they always have to refer everything to the reception.

We arrived at midnight after a 6 hr bus ride from Manila - terrible traffic, 3 hrs to get out of the city!! The check-in was very fast (pre-brooked with Agoda) and reception staff very helpful. We had a room on the first floor, Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and good view over Subic Bay. We stayed there 10 days while we visited my girlfriends family, went hiking in the hills with friends and swam a lot in the bay. The hotel is right on the beach; beautiful. You can hire a banka (trimaran) and go for a tour around the bay or taken to several snorkelling sites. There is a good restaurant in the hotel serving Philippine, Japanese and Western meals, fantastic choice, good prices, great service. The is a lawn area overlooking the bay and you can of course eat al-fresco, what more do you need. Plenty of nightclubs and bars nearby if that's your thing, or just have a beer at the hotel bar. We had a great time and I will go back here next time.
