Pleasant stay in 2019 October, now second visit and it's even better! Friendly and professional staff, the best kitchen in the area. And the prices are still great, definitely not breaking your waller. The new management has done a great job. It is now under Red Doorz booking system. The beach is just across the street, 1 kilometer of uncrowded beach. Just great! Walking distance from 7/11 and DiviMart department store. More bars and restaurants in the area if you would like to do barhopping. Just 2 minutes from Floating Bar, great place to spend some time.

I stayed 4 days at this hotel in December this year. They who choose this hotel get great value. If you check on tripadvisor you will see how cheap it is. The rooms are small and most rooms have new quiet air conditioning which makes the room cool and well. The beds are equipped with thick blankets so you can have full air conditioning without freezing. The resort has a bar which is open 24 hours a day. In-room refrigerator. Swimming pool and 2 minutes walk to the beach. The resort is about 10 minutes walk from the main street and night life in Barretto. If you can't walk, you can take a motorbike taxi to the main street. It costs 20 pesos. The hotel is just very near Treasure Island resort which is right on the beach. If you want a sea view while eating and drinking you can use the restaurant on Treasure Island. You can use the swimming pool at Treasure Island resort if you buy food and drinks there for 300 pesos per person. There is a bus service directly from Manila to Barrio Barretto, Subic Bay, Olongapo The buses leave from Pasay (close to the airport) and Sampaloc and the bus company is called Victoria Liner. The trip costs 236 pesos. When you go to Lagoon resort located on the Baloy Long Beach. Get off the bus at the Angel's burger-Seven eleven. From the Angel Burger in Barretto you can walk or take a motorbike Taxi which costs 20 pesos to Baloy Long Beach.

I am extremely happy with my stay. Room are cute with nice little decor. Hotel smell nice from the hallway to the rooms. Staff are helpful and nice to talk with. They have little swimming pool which is really nice as it’s clean and very private.. happy to recommend to friends and relatives . Hotel restaurant is highly recommended. Price of foods are not so expensive. We had lots of good memories during our stay. Well done.

we book this online but since I was not able to make a deposit our reservation was cancelled. It's a third party who arrange reservations and online booking. That's why when we arrived at the hotel my reservation did not reflect... ( geeeze we should have walk in to other resorts but since were in there we were shy to back out. Others would offer same room as ours for PHP 900.00 per night) We booked for a standard room that cost PHP 1,300.00. We stayed at room 11, it's located on the 2nd floor. The hallway going to our room is quite narrow. The picture of their room looks different from the actual. It's quite so small that there is no space for my daughter to walk around so most of the time when we stay in the room she's on the bed. The tv is still the old ones with limited channels even if its already with cable. You also have an outdated personal ref. The aircon is a okay good thing my daughter can sleep well even if their a/c is noisy. Their bathroom is so small that you can not fully open the door. Hot and cold shower is working fine. Take note that this resort is not beach front but it has a small pool which is not properly maintained. Food in there is quite expensive that is why we opted to eat out at a nearby carinderia. One order of viand would cost PHP 50.00 and one order of rice is PHP 10.00. The good thing about this resort is that they have strong wifi connection.

We have no choice but stayed here because we arrived in subic around 7pm from Iba Zambles and almost all the hotels and resort near the beach is fully booked. The place needs a total renovation. They have a restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and dinner but it's very expensive. You can just dine in the nearest carinderia beside the resort if you're on a tight budget. We paid P1700.00 for the room. They have a mini swimming pool for kids and a billiard table. Inside the room there's a refrigerator, tables and chairs and a very sturdy bed. The staff in Lagoon resort is very friendly and accomodating. Tip: Check The resorts along the highway first because it's better than the resort inside the Baloy long beach.

Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Lagoon for making my stay the best ever. So grateful to Abby, Lyn, Gael, Jerome, Nathan(Neil), Erwin, Jessica, and of course the best taxi man ever Ben. The hotel is a great place to watch sport, drink beers, play darts, swim in nice pool, and just relax the way it should be. I can't wait to come back and visit all my friends at Lagoon Beach Resort and the Cheers Bar n Grill. Salamat Po Darek RAMSEY!

we weren't supposed to check in here but very happy we bumped into this place. we were supposed to checked in at Johan's but due to bad customer service (very bad that they will make you fool of their advertisement) we decided to stay in lagoons. We arrived night in Olongapo from Manila and I was with my son and my colleague. All 3 of us were accepted with full smile and very Accomodating receptionist. We were so tired but seeing their smiles, the crew as well gave us a good relief that we have a place to stay and decided to stay there for 3 days and 2 night and I can tell you IT WAS AMAZING! we stayed in room number 8. the pool isnt as big as anyone's resort but as long as my son is happy with it I am happy :) the people who works in lagoon resort has pure smile and not fake. and they have books that you can borrow while you're in there which we loved! AND THE PLACE IS VERY CLEAN! In our office, we had so many stress and our goal is to have a good relaxation and LAGOON RESORT gave us that! :) ITS A BIG HELP :) thank you so much to the owner and to the crews...for making our stay wonderful and we will DEFINITELY go back there :)

The staff are warm and welcoming. Thanks to the new management who spends time training the staff and supervising them. The owners are aware that their food menu needs to be upgraded and they are doing something about it. The pool is cleaned each day, though small, its big enough for 6-8 people to share. Two corners built in the pool which looks like jacuzzi. Quiet resort, 2 mins walk to the beach. Wake up to a peaceful morning, have a dip in the pool, and take a stroll down the beach, wonderful idea.

We arrived here a day later than planned, due to a cancelled flight, which meant we lost a night's booking. We were allowed to change our dates and add the missed night on to the end of our stay, which was appreciated. Our room was upgraded to a standard room (we booked a budget), but I'm glad we hadn't paid the extra for it as it was very small, dark and the shower was unusable. We didn't complain though as we didn't want to be downgraded! The toilet also broke on our last day and wouldn't flush. The aircon unit in the room was very noisy and difficult to sleep through. The room and bathroom were both dirty and old. The restaurant food was really very good though, and was the highlight of our stay, with a wide range of dishes and prices. The pool was murky and very small, with nowhere to sit except the raised edge of the pool. This resort is on a short road of resorts, and a taxi/tricycle ride away from Olongapo. The nearby beach is nothing special but ok to walk along, so be prepared not to go far or to spend a lot on taxis. While we were here we chatted to the owner, who said he has been running the place since July 2015. He's a very friendly Australian man, who was keen to share his knowledge with us. Hopefully he has plans to upgrade the rooms in this hotel, as for now I would only recommend it for budget travellers in the quiet/wet season.

From the person i talked to on the phone for reservation to check out, ive nothing but praises.very friendly and accomodating staff. Room is ok. It's affordable so i didn't expect much from it.all i needed for me and my family is a clean room and functioning facilities. Food is expensive and mostly fried. To a family who is health consious we dont really like fried stuffs unless fried in extra virgin olive oil. And i expected affordable seafood but i didnt see any. So we had to eat somewhere else to get GOOD food. P.S. If youre eating here make sure to bring your own candle cause theres so many flies and when i asked for a candle the waitress said that i should go buy myself one for they don't provide it as per the owner of the resort. WoW! The nerve to tell a customer THAT! There must be a better way to COMMAND a customer. As they say it's NOT what you say but it's HOW you say it.
