Detailed Reviews
My visit was wonderful! The hotel was clean and the room was stocked. Front desk, Gretch, was great and very informative of activities in the area and went above and beyond to assist me with transportation and was probably one of the best front desk employees I have ever dealt with. Will definitely visit again.

This is the first time I stayed at this hotel and for sure will be my only hotel of choice when I visit Olongapo....so why don't you give it a try!

This hotel really gives great value for your money. All members of the staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The rooms were nice too considering their low rates. The airconditioning in the room was impressive too which was a real plus for us. What we really liked also was that its location is approximately 3mins away only from Subic, making it very convenient for us to go back and forth to Subic. They provided wifi service too which was free of charge best of all. Will definitely go back to this hotel!

To make my review short and straight
Pros:
- fast wifi
- clean room
- walking distance to Subic entrance. Within the city area.
Cons:
Lack of basic room features such as:
- No comforters, only thin sheets to keep you warm at night.
- No Aircon remote so you'll have to stick with the pre set temp.
- No remote for the tv so you'll have to stand up when you want to turn off the tv.
- No hair dryer in the bathroom
- Only 2 pillows
- No complimentary drinking water
- Some of the staffs are unaware of what's happening in the city (we asked the schedule of the road closing for the Mardi Gras fest which happens to be infront of the hotel and they don't know what time.)
All in all, if you want to stay close proximity within the city then this hotel is for you, otherwise there are alot of hotels that offers more inside the freeport.

The hotel's claim on their advertisement is what it really is. To top it all, the hotel staff and management representatives are very warm and accommodating! it's a home away from home.
I've stayed in the hotel many times. Since the room accommodation and service were superb. I have recommended the hotel to my colleagues and friends and they enjoyed staying in the hotel as well.
Kudos to the management and service staff.

Overall, Good, recommended especially for family or business trips. Very friendly customer service, clean & warmth lobby area. You feel homely and safe & they have very clean and comfortable room. The last I stayed, I got a room very near to the main road so it is a bit noisy at night. Apart from that, very satisfied. For travelers like me, comfort & safety is my top priority. Price reasonable, worth staying.
Food is also easily available. Sam's Pizza opposite is good too, nice Pizzas with good liveband. walk along you have fast food restaurants. Further down, a little hard walk, you will reach SBMA (I think that is what they called).

We booked 3 rooms and 2 nights for our annual Holy week family vacation in Subic. 1 Lobby Suite A, 1 Twin and 1 Superior.
Aside from having beautiful furnitures, our experience was not as pleasant as I expected from the reviews here in Tripadvisor.
1st, there was no parking exclusive for the hotel. You must park on the street (which is full most of the time) and pay a parking attendant everytime you enter and leave the car.
2nd, we arrived at 1:30pm, our rooms are not yet ready. Only the Lobby Suite is, and when we entered the room, the smell was really bad. Smells like stinky wet carpet. (We later found out that the aircon was leaking water).
3rd, aside from a leaking aircon, it could not make the room cool enough.
4th, despite having a kitchen, you cannot cook inside the suite.
5th, the 2 other rooms became ready at 2:30pm, an hour after we arrived.
6th, the superior room is too small.
7th, you can hear all the noise coming from outside... tricycles, talking people, laughing, there was even a drunk man yelling at 3 in the morning.
8th, the water pressure on the 2nd floor is weak. I had to hold the shower head just to direct water while bathing.
9th and the worst, NO WATER on the faucet and shower at 10am just about when we are preparing for check out!
10th, upon check out, we were being charged for two towels which we hanged at the back of the bathroom door. They did not check properly before charging us. By the way, the towels and bed linens are are already weary and needs to be replaced. They are like linens and towels from filthy motels.
Last, while checking out, we saw other rooms being prepped. We saw the bed sheets not being replaced, but just being ironed in place. We think it's quite unsanitary. What if the former guest has a skin disease?
Overall, I'm not staying here again and will not recommend this to anyone.

This hotel is excellent. It's one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. It is clean, located in a nice area, the service is top notch, and best of all it's very affordable. The hotel staff was very courteous and professional and not once did I see any bugs. It's also within walking distance of 2 big shopping malls, a public market, and a hospital. This place holds its own against some of the more expensive hotels in the area. If you're looking for a hotel that is clean, comfortable, and affordable then this is the hotel to stay at. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 5 nights at the Subic residencias the 1st 4 of which was in their most affordable room on the 2nd floor, and at 2100 Php a night you can't expect bells and whistles, neither did we get any i can assure you!
the last night of our stay i wanted to try their ground floor executive room and that's where it all went downhill:
Having paid the basic room for all 5 days upfront i inquired at the front desk if -by paying the extra rate on top- i could change my last night to the executive room and was told flat that it's just not possible to change a booking {at this point even housekeepers add their 2cents and are categorically positive that it's not going to happen}....we knew both ground floor rooms were vacant so why couldn't we just change room? -at this point i should reiterate that we made it clear we were fine with paying additional to cover the rate which is 4500 php- after insisting the lady receptionist said "For a while Sir, i will call our manager" {if you've never been to PH: it's not "wait for a while" here, they shorten unnecessary words, you see} so after much "ooh" and "ahhhh" we were told that the Ivory Tower manager agreed, in such a way that we ought to feel like the most privileged hotel guests in the world......go figure!
After a quick touch-up by Housekeeping we were allowed into the "Executive Room" {i now knew why HK was getting involved in the discussion at the front desk: the room stank to high heavens, the smell places get when they are unoccupied for many months.
What makes those rooms "Executive" i do not know, it's just one rectangular room with sofa side and LCD TV. 4500php on rainy season is a hefty price, for this much you kind of expect a lot more.....
anyhow, it has been an experience, i would say the following:
Good:
-Staff, generally speaking they are all very friendly and you can tell they do try their best given the limitations that must rain down on them from the upper management.
-Location is also very good, on the main avenue, 10 mins walk from SM and 5 Min drive from Ayala
-the relatively newness of the building
-Free WIFI, reliable and good speed was a big plus!
Bad:
-no shelves in the bathrooms, this was already mentioned in past reviews so it shows how much the owners/managers care about feedback.
-lack of empowerment to the staff on site, if you're going to be invisible management team it's fine, your staff can handle it, but at least empower them to make basic decisions such as weekly discounts rates or change of rooms, this lack of empowerment does make the staff feel awkward and the guests feel frustrated.
-very poor TV channels
-400 Php extra for a baby bed???? are you serious???
Overall i won't be back, 4500php is higher than rates inside the SBMA for much better rooms and amenities, heck it's actually more than 4 star prices in Dubai, and SR is no 4 star place that's for sure.

Hi, unfortunately cooking is out of the question... but in saying that , there are restaurants everywhere within walking distance. there's one right across the road and you can always request the friendly housekeepers to help you. have fun :D
Near is relative term. The hotel is outside of SBMA but only 3 blocks from the entrance to SBMA. From there you can take a taxi to zoobic safari and ocean adventure. That will probably cost about 150-200 pesos.
