The staff was frindly the whole time, fast check in befor 2 pm, great. Best area in this hotel is rigth the pool, also the restaurant food was ok, but not a special. But, the rooms needs urgent a renovation. I had never seen so many dirty things in a high value hotel in a high room catergory! Very dirty aircon, needs to be change the filter, old and dirty bathroom, rust on the metal bars, special the jacuzzi, you dont would like to sit inside and relaxe. Also the curtains is old and broken and in the corners and edges in the whole room is a lot of mold. For a room like this price category, it is absolutly not accepteble and i am happy i had only booked for two nights there. It was not a real good feeling to stay in this room.

My friends and I had a chance to have a short vacation and a friend booked in Wild Orchid in Subic. At first the hotel seems to be a bit old but as days passed we appreciate the hotel aura, very cozy and accommodating. We loved our stay and definitely enjoyed our vacation. We had a great time by the beach while listening to the live band that they have every night. The foods were all delicious and served adequately. Love staying in this resort. It has a big pool and a beach area wherein you can take some walk and wait for the beautiful sunset.

Booked 3 deluxe rooms for our family last May13-15 via Agoda. They put us in 2nd flr and no view probably because our room rate is low. The Good 1. Big heated pool. There are 2 jacuzzis too 2. Lots of parking spaces 3. Beach front and water is clean with fine sand. Would have been better if there are sunbeds by the beach. 4. Ring floaters are available free of use (first come first serve) in the pool area 5. Live band plays every night by the beach area 6. There are water sports available nearby such as banana boat (P350/head), ufo (P350/head), parasailing (P1500/head) 7. Good customer service. Staff are quick to assist. 8. This is always a great hotel and probably the best in baloy beach. Hiwever the service on this trip has been shocking. From check in to the pool service and restaurant service. Very amateur young service from the staff. My family have been treated and respected as back Street working girls. Been coming here 10 years when kids were young and now the kids are in there teens with a foreigner Daddy they were treated as if they were from a bar. Not a pleasant feeling. Didn't see the usual walk around from the hotel managers. Not the same since my last report a couple of years ago. Yes it looks a nice and is a nice hotel but many of the staff have changed and need to be educated in customer care, respect and service.

What an outstanding Personal-Service from hotel staff. Very kind and helpful, from front desk to receptionist and even our room attendant. Very spacious room, clean and relaxing especially the beach side rooms. Huge swimming pool with nice waiting area tables w/ umbrellas and chairs. Onsite restaurants were good too, Scalliwag and Barefoot is what we visited, Nice atmosphere with live music. Good food and attentive staffs. Would definitely go back this summer

The wild orchid offers the biggest and best pool in subic without dought but it's rooms are very much in urgent need of refurbishment considering there rather excesive room rates, fixtures and fittings are old and dated, furniture is in need of replacement, 15 years ago this hotel would have easily been the top hotel in town but know time has caught up to the point were the rooms are old and caught up in a time warp. I booked the deluxe room at 3999 peso a night (cheapest room the hotel offers) room was clean, Bed linen has faded and lieing on the duvet made me tchy, towels are worn and turning grey. sub standard aircon, Flush the toilet and the cistern takes at least 15 mins or more to fill with a constant noise and will not reflush in that period, on my last of 3 nights went…

+ Nice Staff - Unfriendly/frustrated front desk manager - no cash discount, even I booked two rooms - 500 pesos extra for a baby crib per night is a rip off = not family friendly - whole place looks old and filthy, ongoing construction - rooms are dirty, windows never get cleaned, curtains are old and have holes, I guess from cigarettes, curtains in the bathroom have mold (!). Shower head doesnt get cleaned for ages. Sliding doors are hard to use and make horrible noises. Aircon half broken and filthy, power outlets falling out the wall, tv remote has no battery, and and and - swimming pool smells heavily from chlorine which means a LOT of urea in the water, I'd never swim there. - food in the restaurant disappointed us and it is pricey (beef in the soup like old mest) - even…

This is a nice, if older, hotel with rooms with a beach view. We stayed in a beachside room.and it was spacious with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom could use an update due to rusted fixtures and age wear. The showers did have plenty of hot water though. Our room wan't far from the bar which means you hear the music and karaoke pretty loudly until the wee hours of the morning. The pool was very clean and well maintained. The beach rooms are in a completely different building than the front desk and pool so be aware you will have to cross a little alley/street. The staff was friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any problems. Overall not a bad place to stay for a few nights of relaxation as long as you are not expecting the Hyatt.

I rush on bus asking bill. Last minute they take money and 100 tip for two burger meals at 155 each l think and 2 pineapple drinks. Place is nice and top rooms are 10k. I booked a room by beach and to be fair didn't stay there. Orchid bus last minute scam. Dec 23 l got scammed and you need honest staff. To be fair you can be scammed anywhere.
