I have been staying regularly for the last ten years at this property and it never disappoints. Strategically located within a couple of minutes walk to walking street, it's still on a relatively quiet street. The property has the old wing and the new Laguna wing. The old wing rooms are a bit dated, though large in size and come with a bathtub.
The new wing or Laguna wing rooms are more modern look and feel, and are also priced higher.
The staff is wonderful and always ready to help it's guests.
Perhaps the only hotel in Angeles which offers two big swimming pools.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and never once have I had cause to complain about anything. Staff so friendly and willing to help if you have a problem. Nice warm water whenever you want it, clean room and comfy bed. Food a tad pricey but very tasty and a great choice.
Every Sunday they have a band that play next to the pool and if you have a request they always seem to know it, really talented musicians.
The pool is the best I have ever used with plenty of loungers and tables with large parasols.
Love the place and wouldn't go anywhere else if I visited Angeles again.

If you're going to trip the light fantastic in Balibago, the Wild Orchid is a great base of operations. It's two blocks off the Walking Street, away from the noise and action of the bars. You have a wide choice of rooms to fit your budget and the service is excellent at all levels. One thing that impresses me when I go there is the cameraderie shown by the staff towards each other and management, one big family. Housekeeping is always on top of their game as are the front desk staff ladies. Everyone insures your stay is welcome and wonderful. And don't miss that wonderful pool! ATMs are in the hotel lobby so you will be ready to take on the town. Another feature you can avail yourself is the airport pick up from Clark International Airport. For a modest fee, your driver will be waiting at the arrival area. Be sure to communicate with reservations to get this service. The Wild Orchid Resort is my go -to whenever I visit the area. If you have local relatives, it's family friendly, but oddly, they have a rule that prohibits two men from sharing a room. Ah well...

Not so this gem of a hotel
Two swimming pools form the centrepiece here, framed by what seems 3 and 5 level Havana 50’s style buildings connecting the accommodation, foyer, bars and front office.
Security is omnipresent giving a safe feeling on top of the atmosphere generated by the smiling and helpful staff.
They have a few categories of room available, all seem to be spotlessly clean, good size and functional.
The food that leaves their kitchen is excellent with the menu catering for many tastes ( if you want something not covered by the menu the kitchen’s chef will try to please.
The location is just another reason for a visit being in the centre of the Angeles entertainment.
All in all worth staying!

You guys should know how to RESPECT your guest whether she's a filipino or not, i am with a foreign bf, we arrived late maybe around 5.30pm we are the only guest in the lobby, and there's 3 receptionist, its ashame that no one of that 3 receptionist ask for my name, instead they asked my bf if what is my name, i was like, wtf? Hey guys, i am next to my bf and you guys did not even bother to talk to me..i walked out.. i am also your guest and not only my bf, you are in a hospitality business,you should know how to accommodate your guests.. you guys ruined my stay there, but still i will come back coz of the place.. and if things is still the same, maybe i could talk to your manager.. coz you guys are sucks.. sorry but not sorry for being rude..

The hotel is nice, the pool is top notch, and the staff is very nice the problem is the rooms need to be in better operating shape. The ceiling fan in the room did not work, it would not change speeds, just barely turned, the staff said they would repair in the morning but never did. The keys for the room did not work, they had to finally get the manager to resolve the issue after 3 failed attempts. The water in the shower was hot but barely any water pressure, this was better than my stay there 2 years ago when we did not get any hot water. I will stay there again, because I like the place and we like the manager, but please pay more attention to your rooms, and make sure everything works.

This hotel resort was recommended to me by a local friend, and it did not disappoint. It's in a great location for exploring Angeles, especially Fields Avenue/Walking Street, and half an hour's taxi from Clark Airport.
The pools are spacious and clean, with pool bars (although only one was open when I stayed) and there's a great main bar overlooking one of the pools which serves a great range of food and drinks.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff without exception all friendly and helpful, and very efficient.
It's an older hotel and that's reflected in the decor and furnishings - and the in room safe was a bit of a puzzle to figure out. But if you are after a good value, safe and relaxing hotel in a great location, you can't go wrong here.

Hotel is in a good location near Walking Street and other nightlife. The staff are friendly and helpful and meals are good. Rooms are clean and spacious, but we did have issues with the bathroom: faulty light (which was eventually replaced) and the water was sometimes discoloured or smelt bad. Wi-Fi is good in the restaurant / pool / reception area, but we had connectivity issues in the room. Swimming pools were very good.

Pool was large, staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, food was awesome. Bathroom was a little run down, but spacious. Night time was a little noisy in the room from music below - this would only impact depending on why you are here. Tip: Leave the aircon on as it struggles to cool down the room if you let it get hot and try to cool it again.

I really enjoyed my stay here because the staff is awesome, location perfect right along Walking Street. The restaurant has great food and fast room service. Pools are beautiful. Anytime I'm in Pampanga, I will always stay at The Wild Orchid Resort 5-Stars for sure!!!!
