There was nothing special with this hotel. Check in process was okay, they don’t provide complimentary stuff like dental kits, slipper, laundry bags etc. You had to pay for everything which doesn’t make sense, heck even 2 star hotels provide those for free! There were non stop banging on the other side of our room as well which was annoying because it kept on going until the evening and back it again in the morning. Sounded like a renovation or an ongoing construction. They didn’t even have the courtesy to give us a room far away from it or at least inform us about it. We are not the type to complain, we were exhausted and since we were only staying there for a night we’ve decided to just bear with it. Rooftop staff were nice, food was average, we loved the crispy pata but the pinakbet was kinda salty. If you’re not fussy and just looking for a hotel to stay for the night, this is okay. But for us, the chances of us coming back to this hotel is low.

We (1 x Australian male & 1 x Filipina) stayed twice in June (2 x nights before going to Dumaguete for a week and 3 x nights upon returning to Angeles). Both times we chose an Executive Plus room. Hotel is in a central location, good for accessing nearby restaurants, bars and the famous walking street. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. All staff were friendly and helpful, so we give a special mention and thanks to front desk, housekeeping, doormen and some of the restaurant staff. The rooftop pool was very nice, with great views of Angeles. The chlorine may have been a bit strong on our first visit, as my Filipina developed a minor skin reaction on her face (below left eye). During our first visit the service in the restaurant for breakfast was great, but on our second visit I was very disappointed with the service at breakfast: after waiting for quite a while, we were told the waitress was busy, but it was after 10am and I’m quite sure we were the only customers. I got fed up with waiting, so I gave up on the restaurant and we went elsewhere for breakfast each morning. Although the service at the restaurant was lacking on our second visit, we would definitely stay here again and I recommend Central Park Tower Resort for couples and singles (you will be able to take a visitor to your room without drama).

A good place to spend new years eve. The roof deck offers one of the best views to enjoy the fireworks display all over the city. The food was good, especially their 4-cheese pizza. The rooms were comfy and wifi was good enough to keep us connected with families and friends.

Stayed for 4 nights before Christmas I had arranged pick up and drop off with the hotel and both were prompt and smooth journeys. Upon arrival the front desk seemed more interested in chatting with each other then assisting and once the finally arranged for a bell boy to show me to my room they in fact got the wrong room and 10 minutes later switched me to what I had asked for. The room itself was nice - I booked in the executive suite (10th floor) which had nice views. Size of the room was ok but I would say the finish is a little dated. The rooftop pool was a good size with plenty of sun in the day time. But again service was pretty slow and made to feel as if it were an effort, the food was poor, I struggled with the food in the Philippines in general but I felt the hotel food was especially poor. For what I paid I was pretty unimpressed with the staff carelessness, when I arranged with the front desk over the phone for my taxi back to the airport on the morning of my departure I could just sense they hadn’t taken it down so several hours later I went to the front desk in person to confirm the booking with the evening staff & they had no record of it, I was lucky I did double check. Overall I felt hotel was ok, the food was poor & the staff were poor expect the doormen who always greeted you with a smile. My previous trip to this, I had stayed at scorebirds which is a lesser finish but staff care is exceptional, food a little better but most of all it’s half the price. I think there’s better value for money in AC, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Dear Londonpj, I have read your review and taken note. Thank you for the comments. We will use them to remind the front desk of the need to be focused on the guest and the guest's needs. We apologize for the mistakes and I can assure you that training will be in order. It seems that we have been short handed due to absences during the holiday season at both the front desk and the rooftop resto and kitchen. Hopefully now that the holidays are over, the staffing level will return to normal and we can then once again deliver service as expected. Thank you again and happy new year.

The amenities are nice but I am only giving this hotel a 3-star because first of all, the room they have given to me is not what I payed for. I payed for a much bigger room but gave us a different one. No hotel slippers provided, you have to buy them for P100. No dental kit provided also in which those things should be the first thing you can find in their bathroom sink. But what you can see are bunches of for sale toothbrush and toothpaste. Lol. Smaller hotels provides everything (say for example SOGO hotel). This hotel charges everything.

Dear guest, So sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the hotel. Since you didn't elaborate on the type of room you requested and the type given, it is difficult to reply to your concern. Our room pricing is no different than most others and similar to the pricing structure used in other service related businesses. We have standard economy priced rooms and higher, more expensive rooms. When you book a higher end room, you get slippers, bathrobes, etc. Those features are not automatically part of the lower priced rooms but we are willing to add them for a small fee. As for toothbrushes....we don't believe that most people really travel without bringing their own toothbrush so we don't believe it is necessary to put on in every room. However, we do also realize that some people may forget them so we offer them for purchase. As for the toothbrushes provided in some other hotels, they are generally of very cheap quality and hardy usable. Again, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We hope that where ever you choose to stay next is able to meet your demands at whatever budget you can afford.

Been about more than 10 years I’ve stayed here. Previously it wasn’t a tower but just ground units.

The tower now has a nice facade and the lobby indeed looks grander with nice ambience.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly with good command of English. Service is prompt.

Room is clean and cosy. Everything is where it needs to be. They have smoking room options too.

Washroom has a nice tub and also running hot water even with shower rain. Toilet has attaching bidet on side.

Went to the roof for brekkie. Really nice menu and good food.

Location is heart of walking street and in my view the best hotel option around here. Highly recommended for those who want convenience. At the time of writing, paying in cash gives you 20% off published rate as compared to paying by credit card.

Thank you for a nice stay

Hotel was a class above the others in the area. An oasis.

Rooms very nice and top floor longe area very nice with good food.

Cost for us was around $A100 which was very good considering the quality and location of the hotel.

It is actually located where the old Chicago Park hotel was.

A few Friends and I stayed here over Christmas recently.

We have all stayed here previously and come to expect the great service and friendly staff here.

The only issue I came across was that in the Information compendium in our rooms it states that the pool is open 24 hours (except for treatment). Unfortunately when I tried to use the pool one morning it had a sign top closed for treatment. I asked the staff in the adjacent Resturant what time the pool opened which they replied 09:00 - 22:00. This is obviously not a 24 hour pool!

Other than that experience, I will stay at the Central Park Tower next time in Angeles.

Thanks for the question, but it doesn't pertain to us since we do not have a hotel in Baguio. It would be best for you to contact the hotel you want to stay at in Baguio and ask the question to them directly. Have a nice day.

Our sister hotel with the fitness room is named Pacific Breeze Hotel and it is a short one minute walk from the Central Park Tower. As for the deposit, we require a 1,000 peso cash deposit per room at check-in. It is fully refundable at the end of your stay. Do let us know if you need further information. Have a wonderful day.

Dear Joanne, Thank you for the inquiry. With regards our offerings, all of our rooms are outfitted with one US sized king bed. We do not have any rooms with two or more beds.
Answer from PBH001

For an arrival at 2 AM, since we book according to room nights, you would need to book the room for the night before to guarantee access to the room immediately when you arrive. Otherwise, if you can wait to 6AM to check-in, you would only be charged 1/2 day for the early check-in. Our front desk is open 24 hours so no issue with arriving at anytime ...day or night.
