Nice hotel but not really something special. I think this hotel has more potential. I was lucky to have a very interesting roomrate via Agoda, but still found it quite expensive for what it was. I found that, if there would be better maintenance, a bit better cleaned at swimming pool area, it could have had a 4*. To say that the lovely swimming pool at the rooftop was not always that clean. There is no skimmer,so the water surface is full of dead flies and small debris. That's really a pity. Telling this at the staff at the pool area restaurant they told me not to mention it to them but I had to go downstairs to tell reception. This was a strange reaction of the staff. Reception staff was really nice as well as room maid. I will definitely go there again if I find a decent room rate.

If your looking for budget acommodation in Angeles city with a nice rooftop swimming pool and a good rooftop resturant this is a decent option. Location is pretty good easy walking distance to all Angeles city has to offer and prime location for nightlife and bars and sm shopping mall and fields av. I was seeking a budget room with a swimming pool for two nights so chose the apollonia royale i stayed in the premier room £56 for 2 nights booked with Agoda no breakfast (cheapest room) which was average size, one negative was the cheap looking small double bed which was hard and spoilt the appearance of the room. Tv channels were numerous foreign and western channels. Empty fridge, wifi was excellent. Security on hotel entrance. Hotel had a gym. Rooftop swimming pool was pleasent with sun loungers also rooftop resturant was nicely laid out with nice views. Staff were fine. Room had a safe but for ould just pick it up (see pic) so I wasn't happy to keep my cash in it. Other negatives were. Seen a cockroach in the room. No towels were provided at the pool area despite a sign saying not to bring room towels to the pool. Arrived at 12.30. 90 mins before check in time asked if I could go to room but was told check is 2pm said im checking out at 11pm on my departure day 13 hours early but still i was not allowed to my room despite the hotel less then half full, come on hotel management what's 90 mins? Cannot really complain to much about this hotel has it had cheap rates, nice pool and resturant and a gym but just one or two improvements and some maintenance in the rooms by management could really make the apollonia royale hotel a far better option.

Not a good stay. Front desk staff confrontational and unresponsive to request for maintenance. The shower/bathroom are in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Black mold throughout the bathroom. Air conditioner was defective. I called front desk and asked for maintenance, they sent housekeeping. Housekeeping verified the unit was faulty and then maintenance was called. Six people total in and out of a room that was 30*C. After an hour they replaced the unit and in another hour the temperature had been reduced to 25*C. The window mounted units are too small for the size of the room. The Air Con ran for 18 hrs straight and was able to bring the temperature down to only 21*C.

I love the location and the facilities, i love the gym more if they do have a music playing while someone's using it and turn it off when no one's inside. The room is okay except that there's leak when using the bidet . We dont almost stayed in the room for long we arrived 10pm and leave at 6am, we got back late at the hotel because we attended spartan race at porac thats why we extended our stay. We asked the FO if we can extend an hour for complimentary just to swim and have time to go to gym before we head back to manila since thats the only time for us to relax but she says she's going to pay for the lco charge, well its my first time to hear that because im working in a 5 star hotel but staff didnt get charged when our guest wants to have complimentary late check out. Maybe you need more "hospitality training" be considerate once in a while.Your hotel is not fully booked and i see few guest at the lounge and its sunday. ☺

If all you want is -Bed -Hot water -A/C -Location Then this is your hotel If you want more go some where else It lacked - coffee or tea packs not in room - non smoking room - not really - the Korean smoke every in hotel and staff does not stop them - Resturant where most items not available -wifi that rarely works except in the lobby - overpriced for what you get. Not a good value for your money I would pass and find a better place

Stayed here for 2 nights with family as we were attending a wedding in the area. Good location with ample parking. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant, frontdesk not so much. Rooms are modern looking but needs renovation. Beds are horrible! Stiff as hell. Breakfast is served at 730am which we think is too late (we prefer to eat at 6am). Tried to order lunch at 1130am but cook was taking a break and only 2 dishes was available in the menu. Hotel has no control over smoking Korean guests. You could smell smoke even on non-smoking floors (1st, 2nd and 3rd). Not recommended for family staycations. Prostitutes go in and out of this hotel even without accompanying guests.

We stayed here for the weekend. Staff is courteous and helpful. Parking is manageable. The place is very near the red light district but still pretty much quiet. Only concern is the bed, its very hard.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Just stayed overnight because I'm participating a trail run in alviera. A relaxing ambience and a nice roof deck pool and bar. Definitely will stay again for next year.

I checked in at 2 a.m. No problems with being so late. I stayed for six days. I chose this hotel for the low price and location. I had a room on the 3rd floor, above the front door, it was quiet. The furniture in my non-smoking room was very worn. Everything was scuffed or scratched. The room had a small fridge, no minibar. The restroom was very small and the tile grout was in need of some serious scrubbing. I don't think they ever mop the floors of the rooms, only sweep. My white socks were seriously dirty after on!y walking around the room for a short time. I didn't eat at the restaurant. It used to be next to the lobby, but they moved to the rooftop bar. No air conditioning at the bar.
