First I want to say I am very glad I chose this hotel over the others I was looking at. It is less than two years old and practically brand new. Here are some of my observation after staying for 5-days from Sunday May 31 to check-out on June 5th 2015.
Location:
It is literally a 5-minute walk from Fields Avenue. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment district but close enough that you will get to see everything taking a brisk walk towards "Walking Street". 10-minutes and you will be at SM City Clark which is the big shopping mall where you can kill some time during the day looking around or catching a movie at the IMAX theater.
Around the area:
Laundry and dry cleaning with same day service is available with many options just less than a 1-minute walk from the hotel which offers free delivery to your hotel/room after it is done so no waiting to pick up.
Money exchange:
Plenty of places to exchange money with little worry about getting robbed. I changed over $1000 USD with a vendor on Fields Avenue and had no issues. Just another 5-minute walk to get on to Fields Avenue and there was like six money changers available once you make a right on to Fields Avenue. If you do not want to carry all that money in public the hotel offers money exchange but the BEST rates are from the street vendors.
Hotel (Good):
1. Very big rooms with EXCELLENT air conditioning
2. Cable TV
3. Free Wi-Fi throughout the WHOLE hotel, not just the room
4. Rooms rates are comparable to other others of the same quality in Angeles City. I paid 18,135 Pesos for 5-days which equals to $405.70 USD at 44.70 exchange rate.
5. Very friendly staff that will provide first class service for your needs.
6. Restaurant and bar located on the first floor.
7. Excellent room service menu available 24-hours
8. Rooms come with breakfast coupons for two for each day you stay
9. Elevator requires you to swipe your room key to access any of the upper floors
10. Trikes & jeepneys readily available for transportation to anywhere you want to go
11. 7-11 convenience store just a few minutes walk from the hotel
Hotel (Not so good):
1. Elevator and floor hallways are not ventilated or air conditions making it warm and sometime hot during the day.
2. Ongoing construction of a restaurant on the 6th floor makes it difficult to transit to the pool area
3. Gym located on the 7th floor was a bit messy due to the ongoing construction and did not seem to have any air circulation when I entered and looked around.
4. There was only four lounge chairs in the pool area and a small hut area which had two sofa style seating areas which can seat four people comfortably.
5. TV was missing from the pool area, something I was looking forward and one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. I hope it returns after the construction is completed
6. Mini bar refrigerator did not get cold but I think it is powered by the room key being inserted in the card slot to activate the electricity in the room
7. Room cleaning was slow. Not sure if they only have one cleaning crew doing the entire hotel but I was on the 3rd floor and was consistently about 3-4 p.m daily before they came to clean the room
Overall I will definitely return to this hotel for my next visit. I love the location, staff and privacy it offers from busy and noisy Fields Avenue. I would recommend this hotel if you would like to enjoy a quiet nights sleep and relaxing atmosphere.

The experience in this hotel would be one of my worst experience of all. My friends and I have decided to stay here for a birthday celebration. We got a one-bedroom loft and 2 bedrooms with bath tub. We got to the place at around 4 PM just perfect to check-in since most hotels allow check-in at 2 PM. I checked in for all rooms and decided to do an ocular before my other friends arrive. I was disappointed and shocked to see the first room they gave me had a Korean guest sleeping in the bed. So I immediately got out of the room. The next room was also occupied. This was way worst than the first room because when I entered there was a naked Korean guy who just got out of the shower. After the incident, I immediately proceeded to the one bedroom loft and called the lobby to complaint. The manager just came in and apologized for the problem but that was a very traumatic experience. They also gave us new rooms to compensate us but with a glass bathroom and no tub.
That day, they did not also inform us that the daughter of the owner of the hotel was celebrating her debut in the premises. They closed down the pool area and no guest of the hotel was allowed to use the facility for two days. They did not inform guests of that event so we weren't able to use the pool.
There was also no parking!!!!
Lastly, the breakfast... It was plated. Serving was small. Not enough to choices to choose from.
Such a waste of money.

Three years is a considerable time. Many things can happen that can affect an excellent hotel's operations. Stayed here again just a few days back. And I am surprised how things have changed. Check in was not that stress free. Room aint ready and I was booked in a room that is a smoking room. I did make it clear during chat with hotel staff that i have three kids with me a few days before we went. I was led to take another room which was more expensive and less ideal for me and the kids. Felt quite sad. But we tried to make the best of it. Come morning time, went to the gym. Tried a couple of equipments. Felt the stickiness of the handles and buttons of the machines. The drops of sweat and dirtiness is also showing. I stopped using the gym after just a few minutes. Went back to our room and I slowly noticed the room's age is starting to show.
Its not all bad stuff. I need to be fair. I do commend the staff who attended to our breakfast. Also the people who maintain the pool has done excellent work. The renovations done to the roof deck are also very good. But overall service and cleanliness has not kept up from the last time we stayed here three years ago. Now having second thoughts of ever coming back.

Dear Guest, We would like to appreciate your review. We are currently on the plan to renovate the hotel, but since we are fully booked we have to make an extension of the hotel nearby to lessen the sounds of the renovation. We still want to give the best service of the hotel. Thank you and hope to see you soon!

As a seasoned vet of south east asian hotels i can honestly say this is my favourite hotel visited. Just had 8 nights there and it is a superb retreat in amongst the vibrancy of angeles. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for and this is worth every peso. Really impressed. Great pool. Gym superb. Room was fab. Great big comfy bed and a/c you could barely hear. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the main drag but if you are lazy they will shuttle you for free. Neighbourhood is fine. Its the philippines after all. The people are lovely.

Stayed here for 3D/2N in time for the 7107 Music Fest. This hotel came highly recommended by a colleague whose office is in SM City Clark. Prime Asia is one of their clients and we got a discount. Overall, our stay was pleasant. The kids (ages 8 and 3) loved the room and the pool. The room's design is modern and I'm glad that we came here as the hotel is new. Everything is (still) working properly. I doubt if they can be maintained for a long time since the finishing are almost all made of laminates (tables, cabinetry). It is likewise very near SM City Clark and the roster of fast-food chains.
Now the cons:
1. There is this smell coming from the CR. There must be some trouble with their piping as it smells like sewer -- like there was no P-trap or something in one of the drainage. It was just terrible.
2.Aside from that the housekeeping while eager to please, needs proper training and should have a checklist. Our cleaner forgot to empty the trash cans, he forgot to replenish the toiletries and he forgot to clean the coffee/tea area. While he already moved to another room to clean and was waiting for him to emerge from the room he was cleaning, I was looking at him as he moved from the wash room to the bed -- imagine that! Imagine those hands cleaning the toilet then shaking a pillow. Awful, awful. Housekeeping standards are just none existent. Better to just look away.
3. Another pointer, when booking at this hotel, ask for an email confirmation. The rates, the booking and your specs just changes depending on who you are talking to. Ask for something in writing that you can hold on to avoid any misunderstanding.
4. The breakfast, at the time we were there, because they said they are fully-booked, was buffet. It was decent with the usual Filipino fares. Nothing fantastic but no complaints there (I get what I pay for, ok ;) The coffee from the percolator was never hot and it tastes watered down.
Having said that, we'd come back whenever we are in Angeles area.

I found Prime Asia hotel as I searched within the row of hotels in Fields Ave. There is a big sign at the corner of Narciso street and its located at the end of it.
The hotel just opened last October, and offers promo room rate with breakfast until December. The rooms are elegantly designed, the bathroom layout and equipment are impressive, good quality beddings. They are new so I will give another chance on their food, and some front desk staffs are inexperienced.
I have strict standards when it comes to hotels, but this is the only hotel in Clark area that rated high on my card. I just hope they can keep their grade and not loose the quality of their rooms. I noticed some are smoking rooms, they should make it a smoke-free hotel to maintain room freshness. Most of the hotels in the area are like motels frequented by bar girls, I hope PAH can keep higher standard of hotel experience. This would be your best choice in Clark for now, all the others are old, smelly, and expensive. I know how many visitors end up dissapointed in most hotels in Clark/Angeles area, reason why I hope this review helps you on your selection. Send me a helpful vote if this hotel did not dissapoint. :) See the pics I posted.

Now I have visited Prime Asia on a good number of occasions since it opened some 7 years ago or so,and I have never witnessed such a decline in a hotel and is clearly lacking investment.
I believe some of my comments below may have been included in a previous review re:housekeeping but it’s clearly got worse
Check in was nice and smooth and I managed to get into my room early which was appreciated but upon entering my room the room attendant was telling me when his days off were , in fact he did this on a daily basis,no doubt to remind me to give him a tip as I would be leaving the hotel when he was on day off.
In my professional opinion as a healthcare professional the standard of cleaning in this hotel leaves it open to Norovirus, the room attendant trolley had no cleaning chemicals on board and their idea of cleaning was to use a dirty towel to wipe over surfaces, luckily I travel with bacterial wipes so I was able to clean the limited surfaces that I used..see pictures of Filthy sinks, shower screens and rotten door frames..it makes me wonder how clean the air con is
The beddings were of poor quality, torn, frayed and washed out grey.
The mattress had springs coming out the side of it
The waiting staff in the poolside restaurant are always attentive but when I asked for a beef Kaldareto the chef served me a pre cooked beef bulalo complete with Shin Bones..obviously disguised as a Kaldareto.
The views from the roof top pool are now spoiled by a much larger building being built and then there are trip hazard due carpeting lifting off the floor at the edges.
Luckily there are plenty of other hotels to choose from and that’s what I will be doing in future.

We checked in to this hotel thinking about being rated 4 Star , I practically have mix emotions when it comes to the reviews. But we chose to give it a shot and stay at least for few days. Checking in and out was easy . The employees are very friendly and courteous. Our room has a decent size bed at least. No slippers, no lotion and only 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel in the bathroom , and only 2 pillows for 2 Queen bed . I asked for extra pillows and front desk told me that it will cost me 50 pesos per pillow. So I decline to pay. But eventually the Manager allowed to send us extra 2 pillows at no charge .Kudos to the manager and the front desk that night . I will give credit to 4 small bottle water that was left in the fridge. There was a small pool at the 6th floor , as well as a resto bar that serves alcohol . There was an Italian restaurant at lobby of the hotel . The 1 rating I gave was actually for the employees . We also ate at the breakfast and they have buffet. Do not be fooled, we took and ate banana 4 piece total . And to my surprise, I was told that it was not part of the buffet so it costs me 120 pesos just by eating 4 medium size lakatan.( banana) Milk is not part of the buffet and too and cost 75 pesos per glass . I literally wanted to flipped out from my chair . Hotel wasn’t impressive , poorly maintained, our carpet stinks, there are woods peeling from the bathroom, our TV remote was not working . I don’t see anything special about this place except the employees . Upon checking out , we are supposed to be on non smoking floor 4th floor but it was definitely smelling cigarette on the floor . To add , this is the only 4 star hotel I’ve seen that only has 1 elevator . I will never come back to this hotel ever again !!

Always on the lookout for a decent place to eat and drink, I was told to visit The Prime Asia Hotel, when next in Angeles City.
I went with a friend, with a plan to have a drink first, the eat. We were directed to the Pool Bar.
A smallish pool with a few swimmers and a bar with 4 staff. I asked for a glass of wine and my friend ordered a G&T.
They only sell wine by the bottle, so I asked for a mango juice.
OK. I received a can and a glass.
I asked the server to open the can, she would not.
I then said I did not want it, if they were not prepared to open it.
There were no other customer there.
The Cognac was only sold by the bottle, so I wondered how the 3 Cognac bottles were half empty.
We decided not to eat there, as the unsmiling bar staff did not enhance our appetite.
Perhaps the management should take a short walk to The Aqua Club at ABC Hotel and see how a bar should be run.
Needless to say, I will not be going back to Prime Asia.

In our last day in Philippines, My husband and I stayed in Prime Asia Hotel. First of all, welcoming was not friendly. Because we arrived to the hotel before check-in time like 11:00 am - their first sentence was 'it's not check-in time right now' not even saying 'welcome'. In the room there were two low pillows on the double bed. We requested one more pillow but it was not free. They charged 50 Filipino pesos for a pillow. For the next day we booked a shuttle from the hotel to go the the Clark Airport (Hotel's shuttle service was not free). Shuttle arrived lately to the hotel 30 minutes. It was just stress. Last, it has been two weeks after our trip and they still haven't repaid the money for security deposit which they charged from us in our check-in. And no one has replied our emails about the deposit. Summarize, we spent only one night in Prime Asia Hotel and although my husband and I are mild people, we are not pleased.
