Once you emotionally and mentally accept that you're not staying at a Hilton resort, the Queens hotel is more than adequate to fit most of your needs. Paying in cash does provide a discount, so I would recommend to take advantage of the strong dollar and pay cash. They do expect a cash payment on arrival though. A reviewer did post that towels are worn and thin. This is true. I put my towel up to the light and I could see through it. Queen's should definitely buy higher quality towels. Rooms don't have a coffee maker, only two bottles of water. I've already learned from past experience the service and food at the restaurant downstairs is very bad (at least for breakfast) so I typically walk to Phillies or Envy. The refrigerator is filled with snack bar items, but I simply tell housekeeping to remove all the items and I fill up the fridge with my own items (water, soda, beer). My room did have toiletries such as toothbrush, razor, comb etc. I did get the room with the balcony overlooking the pool so maybe all the toiletries come with a certain type of room? Staff is very friendly and will greet you with a smile and call you by name.

If you pay cash you save 25% , p4000 a night but internet goes out , the keycards are a hassle always need to go down and reset them daily. The towels are used up no cotton seen on them. Only get two so make them last throughout day. Request more and it's extra charge. Pool is nice but no chlorine so swim at risk. No free coffee or maker forced to get their restaurant coffee not good. Refrigerator is just for looks since it's filled with their stuff. Soap not provided, toothpaste and toothbrush is sold not like other hotels given. Overall it needs improvement for resort classification. $20 more you can stay at ABC which is very well maintained. The channels are very limited since it's all licked. Gym has better towels than the ones provided to you which is plain stupid if you ask me. The gym is very good that's a plus. The price is to expensive for what they offer. Pool guy is a charm always attentive to your needs .Forgot, expect to spend at least 10 minutes at front desk when keycards needs to be reset. Looks like they are reading instructions on how to reset old keycards

I am disappointed I did not stay here earlier as for many years I frequented alternative establishments and quite sad that I missed this JEWEL of a place. its perfectly siuated if you wish to enjoy Walking Street but secluded enough to avoid most of the noise from the dance clubs etc. location, staff & service was excellent and when service staff was required it was actioned quickly. the hotel, restaurant, pool area & grounds were spotless and the pool area was like being a a huge private garden. all service request were delivered upon and I found the sattf to be genuinely warm & accomodating especially the receptionist.

My experience at the Queens hotel had a very rocky start. #1. When I had checked in, I was given a room where the room wasn't made yet. No towels and no bedding. Called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to fix the problem but it's still an inconvenient 45 minute wait to shower. #2. The mattress was hard and lumpy. Maybe got 30 minutes of sleep the whole night. In the morning, I asked the front desk if any other room was available and if I could switch? They informed me no other rooms available but they will provide a foam mattress for me. Fortunately, this solved the problem and I was able to sleep the rest of the stay. Kudos to the front desk staff for their outstanding customer service to keep me there because I was already looking online for other hotels in the area to switch to. Location is great. Pool is relaxing. Highly recommend getting the balcony rooms to lounge in, but bring your noise canceling headphone because noise from the street and pool area could be distracting. Heard great things about the restaurant but I only had breakfast there -- wasn't very impressed with their limited menu. Not the friendliest staff in the restaurant either. I also wanted to substitute rice for hash brown but was told it would cost an additional 100 peso. Wow? Really? Just for rice? For breakfast, walk over to Phillies or Envy. Customer service and menu is much better. Overall, good hotel. Reason why I don't give them a 5* is the rough start upon check-in and restaurant. .

The Queens in Angeles City was an excellent place to stay, in a good location with a very good restaurant. The staff, like most Philippinos, are polite and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, reasonably sized and spotlessly clean. I will recommend it to friends and will come again. Bill Collis

Despite visiting angeles 20 times I had never stayed at the Queens hotel, post pandemic and my regular hotel in angeles still not open I searched TripAdvisor and discovered the Queens hotel. Great location close to everything that angeles has to offer, large comfy rooms with good size bathrooms, friendly staff, good WiFi, guest friendly, sercuity on door, superb swimming pool with bar and it was never an issue getting a sun lounger on any of my 9 days at the hotel, gym looked well equipped, the hotel is walking distance to sm shopping mall and for those arriving from or departing to manila for the regular genesis point to point buses costing 380 peso either way. The queens hotel is a fine very well managed hotel in angeles and one that will be my preferred hotel on future visits to angeles.
