My 5-day quarantine for the period October 26-30, 2022 was okey. Staff were helpful. They complied to my request for an electric kettle, a pail and a “tabo” because the shower has no warm water. WiFi has a strong signal. Food is okey. The following are the Cons: Cons: Bedsheets and towels look very old and worn out. Refrigerator is rusty, smells inside and doesn’t work. Room was dusty and needs a thorough cleaning. Bathroom stinks with pee. I spent half day cleaning the bathroom with the toothpaste they gave. Shower curtains looks like they’re not washed. Ends are discolored I cleaned/wiped the floor with my facial wipes.. Hot water in shower is not working There’s a sewer vent problem that releases a pungent odor especially at night that I had to cover the openings in the sink and bath tub. TV is old, blurry and can only play a few channels. The day after I received my negative PCR test, I requested for transfer to a smaller room. They gave me a newly renovated one so it was clean and the TV channels were working. My conclusion: I’m very disappointed in the accommodation assigned to the unvaccinated. We seemed to be discriminated against for having the old, dirty and dusty rooms. Of all the clients, you should have given us more conveniences considering we were imprisoned for 5 days.…
All we were looking for was a no frills, clean, and cheap room within close walking distance from Walking Street. The room was clean and we had a good nights rest. The staff was very attentive and quick to answer questions and any requests we had.
We arrived in July for 10 days Quarantine (3 x persons, 2 x rooms. Cost approximately 2,500 per room including full board (3 x meals per day). Due to numerous changes in our travel itineraries we were unable to retain our original quarantine hotel booking and were forced to reserve Eurotel only 5 days before our travel from Europe. POSITIVES: Hotel allowed reservation without payment up front unlike other scheming thieving hoteliers stealing money with the "full payment upfront/no refund policies". Well done to Eurotel for at least alleviating the trouble and costs of travelling during Covid pandemic. Staff friendly even though at times there was some confusions and lack of understanding between them .....due to communication issues. NEGATIVES: Cash payment on check in. Credit Card terminal was not working for the duration we were there. We had to insist on payment on check-out when the funds could be obtained from the bank which the hotel agreed to. Bizarre situation when a hotel will only accept CASH in Peso from international arrivals. Room very basic, dirty..........beds with linen that did not fit the mattress which was extremely old and lacking the freshness of a good laundry. We had to place a clean t-shirt over the pillow to at least be able to sleep on a clean pillow with a fragrance. Room had Wi-Fi but was very poor strength and unable to stream Netflix. TV in room with basic cable channels none in English language. Food 3 x times a day consisted of large portions of rice every meal time with either red sausages/eggs for breakfast............and chicken/pork for lunch & dinner with very little vegetables provided. Fruits provided every 2nd day. The amount of rice provided may suit Filipino but certainly not foreigners. Shower cold water, not so powerful but at least water was running. Very little bathroom supplies provided so make sure you take your own. Room had a damp smell and bathroom strong smell of drains also a big negative. Noisy air-con, no kettle provided to make coffee / tea. In summary i would NOT recommend this hotel if your looking for a clean modern value for money place to stay.…
I’ve traveled to Angeles since 2011 and lived there for 2 years ..... Eurotel would have to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in within the Philippines.... or elsewhere as a matter of fact. 1. The staff use their working days to socialize and congregate in the foyer.... the front desk staff are rude and inattentive much preferring to finish chatting to other staff before attending to customers. It’s a big staff party in the lobby everyday. The manager who sits at his little desk is part of the frivolity or the rest of the time you see him he’s playing on his phone. 2. Room small - Floor is dirty you cannot walk around in bar feet and put them on the bed. You need to wash your feet - sheets do not fit the bed. A simple night sleep you will awake sleeping on the bare mattress because the sheets are too small for the bed and have moved and bunched up - pillows look dirty are are hard - bathroom is a shoe box and consider it a “wet” room if you decide to use the shower. Water flows all over the bathroom. - toilet seat was broken and moves if you sit down. - The tiles are moldy and overall feel is dirty. - Towels are gone past their use by date. - in room safe was broken with wires hanging out and batteries missing - TV Is the size of a laptop with 1 English movie channel while the rest is Philippines channels. International hotel ??????? You cannot really stay in to watch TV unless you like HBO repeated movies. - lost HBO one night and the maintenance guy came and he had no clue. All he said was “no signal” which was visible and left. 2 hours later I reset all the channels and managed to get HBO back myself - no in room facilities to make a cup of tea - no mini fridge to keep purchased drinks cold - mirrors are never cleaned before or during my stay - breakfast is strictly Filipino with 2 out of 6 trays filled with rice while 2 others are filled with Pancit (noodles). The bread is so sickly sweet and there is no juice only water with cucumber floating at the bottom and miniature tea cups (2 sips worth) - being more a Filipino oriented hotel there is always noise in the corridors, they don’t understand respect for others - you have to request your room to be cleaned at the front desk and leave your key. 2 hours I came back and my room was not cleaned yet. There are much better hotels nearby that also have swimming pools and in room facilities. Don’t waste your time booking Eurotel it is low end but high value to all other hotels in the area. Would not recommend it to any foreigner or anybody for that matter. Disgusting service disgusting hotel …
Hotel quite nice , excellent staff very helpful, however didn’t get a warm shower once in 5 days , WiFi terrible had to use reception pc to book flight , and widows and lift could do with a good clean . But this hotel is worth stopping at overall
Me and my fiance decided to stay at this hotel because the location was really accessible to anything, specially the mall just across the road, convenient stores and restaurants. The security was so helpful and nice. The downside was the smell and odour of the room, it was really sucks. From the time we enter the room til’ the time of checked out, the chlorine-like scent at the room was didn’t disappear. Will double think to stay again here!
Pros: -1 ride from Dau Bus Terminal -Walking distance from SM Clark -Accessible to convenience store -Walking distance from our favorite bar -Breakfast is OK Cons: -No tv remote/No tissue (we had to call the front desk 2x to request) -Staff has confusion with our booking and callled us 3x for clarification. We were so tired especially me since I travelled to Clark straight from work in Manila and I work at night thus i am so tired and sleepy.
Friendly staff and a perfect location. The staff has little knowledge and training, but I don't blame them. The rooms are very dirty, the bathroom was full of droppings, the glass tables were under the circles of the previous visitor and the mirrors were under the stains. such that I fear for health. I did breakfast outside the hotel doors, the drinking glasses were so dirty that you can hardly see through them. given that I wanted to leave the hotel earlier, I was told by the staff that I would have to pay a fine. the room service has not arrived 4 times. The mother key of the safe was not present, so the valuables had to stay behind in the hotel. This hotel is definitely not value for money.
The rooms are simply decorated and rather generic, characteristic of a chain hotel, but they are roomy, clean, and comfortable. Guest service to be very good, although there were some concerns about some of the street folks lingering around the front entrance and why that was allowed.
I did not have any reservation for any hotels when I arrived in Angeles City and so street walked hotel by hotel and finally had to decide on Eurotel and it looked more decent than the others I had looked at. I had booked the Deluxe room which was of decent size. TV was large enough and enough channels to keep away boredom. The air-con worked well. Front desk was friendly. Those are the positives The floor was disgusting and never swept or vacuumed in its life. My feet would be stuck with yucky dirt as I walked about. I had noticed a pistachio shell near the dresser floor and as test decided use that as a gauge if the room was ever cleaned. And to no-surprise, the nut shell was still there until I checked out. Who knows ... it may still be there as of writing this. The flip-flops provided kept becoming loose. The comforter hardly looked comforting. On the first night I asked for 2 sheets to cover myself instead of the comforter. The security safe also did not work. The bathroom was also dirty especially the bath-tub. I came out more dirty than going into the bathroom. The soap holder was just hanging by it’s last threads of the screws to the wall. The mirror was disgusting. Obviously I didn’t used their glasses and had my own cup. The included breakfast included just plain rice, alternating between corned beef (or could have been fish as I didn’t try it i) and some vegetable dish, and scrambled eggs every day. Thankfully I had nothing missing from my bags as other reviews and written. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to any traveller. It is definitely not worth the money spend.…
