Very positively surprised. I was staying twice during my four weeks vacation in the Philippines. Location is very peaceful, no messy traffic issues. Clean establishment, friendly fast service in the front desk. Room was really just fine, maybe renovation would be great idea upon next few years. Total blackout curtains. GREAT!. Balcony to customer with smoking habits. Little swimming pool has great benefit located in the middle of the building. Water temperature is fresh. Oh. It feels alike heaven in the high temperature humidity of Philippine evenings. Restaurant is lovely, food really tasty. Big plus to charming girl's working behind the desk. Very smiling and full of service attitude. Only 2 little minus was the price of western breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast+ coffee and juice price was above 500 pesos. It's 10 Euros. It's too expensive. No free drinking water in the room.

Good security.EXTREMELY helpful -honest thoughtful and obliging staff above the level of a 5 star hotel on this point!! Very good transport prices to and from the airport from outside operators- 5 star massage contacts at very good prices. WIFI is free and good (except for one room on second floor). Any maintenece need is done almost IMMEDIATELY.

Spend some time in the hotel during my 7days quarantine period. Food served was nice. My room were clean and had a small terrace on it. I am on the second floor, theres no elevator in the hotel yet hotel staffs are very much willing to help you assist in your luggages.

This is an excellent review for Boomerang Hotel with a difference. I arrived at Boomerang Hotel on the 02 March 2020 and planned to stay four weeks. Then as we are all aware Covid 19 strikes and we are in lock down. Where this review is unique is I stayed at Boomerang Hotel for nearly six months before returning to Tacloban. I am recovery from a fractured femur. I have travelled to over 20 countries in my life time and stayed at many hotels from 3 to 5 star. When you stay at a 5 star hotel yes the luxury is there but it means nothing if the staff are not looking after you. At Boomerang Hotel I have never been treated so well, or so good by staff. Friendly, helpful and funny as at times, willing to share a joke. When I say staff, I mean all from the reception, waitresses, house maids and maintenance staff. I can not say enough but very thankful. The rooms are great and comfortable bed and one thing you hardly see in the Philippines is a good shower with hot running water. The bar and restaurant are great with a great atmosphere. At the restaurant they would smile. In the 6 months I stayed there I loved the fish fillet with vegetable, salad and mash. After a few months they would ask how many times have you had fish fillet now Robert? I was counting but then lost track but on estimate I would say I had fish fillet 107 times for dinner in 6 months, hehe true! At the end it was actually hard and sad to leave which is a reflection on how great the staff were. When you visit Angeles City I highly recommend the Boomerang Hotel.

This was my first stay at this hotel I stayed twice - from 14th - 20th February and 24th - 27th February First stay was on the 2nd floor which is only accessible via the stairs which are steep and not user friendly for old or disabled people The second stay was on the ground floor which overlook the pool which was better Both stays were comfortable and the staff are excellent - friendly and helpful

A very pleasant and clean hotel with all the amenities one would require. It is a little bit out from the center of town but that can often be a plus. Rooms upstair are preferred but all are good. Restaurant and bar over a good range of food and beverage.

I like this hotel, it's quiet and well-kempt and convenient in the Clarkview neighborhood ... well, it's mostly quiet. But some of the rooms have noisy air-conditioners. I originally checked into Room #10, poolside, but I found the old window-style air conditioner was too noisy for me. Not only loud, but it throbbed, and the maintenance man couldn't get it to quiet down. I asked for a different room, and the desk-clerk took me around to several open rooms before I chose Room #30, on the first floor above the pool; it was quiet enough that I could sleep comfortably. It's a block from Don Juico Avenue, which helps avoid the traffic-noise. The rooms are basic but comfortable; mine had a ledge under the window, which I used as a table and writing-desk, and a fine king-size bed. I'm not so fond of the bathroom's "rain shower," I prefer a hand shower, but the water warms up quickly and it's a good flow. I didn't have the trouble with the food-service that 709tonyo mentions. Every breakfast, every meal I had there was tasty and well-cooked. And when I had the girls to breakfast, they acted well-content with it too.

The Boomerang Hotel is one of the best I've stayed in the Philippines, except. Food service is terrible. You don't get what you order and it takes forever. Ordered Sisig which comes on a sizzling platter, not here it doesn't. Television picture is terrible on all channels. Great shower though. Not worth the peso.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was large and comfortable. The included mini-bar was well stocked and the in-room safe was convenient. The hotel does not have an elevator and the restaurant does offer a good selection of tasty food, but without air conditioning.

Aussie owned hotel, off the path. About a 15 min hard walk to Walking Street but if girly bars are your game there are a dozen a block away that are actually better. Quiet place with really nice varied rooms at a good price. Staff are friendly and helpful with all the usual options. Food is good, bit pricey but fills the hole. Puzzels restaurant two blocks away though so great breakfast/lunch alternatives nearby. Pool not worth mentioning, poor location and small under the eyes of everyone. Bar is simple and spartan, needs some plants and such. Staff here are great and grew quite fond of them. Back courtyard is the smoking space and a tremendous waste of potential, could easily be made into something special which would make it a destination instead of a jumping off place. Free shuttle available to take you around town. Rooms are what make this place, reasonably price, good rain shower, bidet hose, safe in room, strong but loud a/c, and ceiling fan, good comfortable beds with cleaning when verbally requested. Room service is quick and easy. Place is secure and staff are trustworthy from observations. This is 3.5 star place that with a small investment could easily be 4.5.
