Visited the hotel for two short days. This hotel where the most catastrophic days in our stay in the Philippines. The place is smocked with Korean guys who invited over very young Philippine girls. They sound ALOT. I am afraid that there is a lot of prostitution going on. The hotel had wrote an instruction sheet that “you need to pay for extra costs if your blankets and/or towels get bloody” etc, which was very strange. It makes you think that it must be an usual thing, aka the guys visiting this hotel are not only buying sex, they’re also hitting and hurting them? Besides from this terrible thing the rooms were not clean and a lot of us had problems with big insects etc in the room. Anyhow terrible experience here. I would not recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.
King size foam mattress was a little soft. Pillows are well-used. Decent sized room . Quiet so we slept well. Low water pressure. TV had NINE channels, 3 English, 3 Korean, 3 Filipino. Only the ONE english channel CNN was free of transmission errors. The Macau movie channel had sound with still photos. We were told they were "fixing the transmission issues". Only 2 electrical outlets in the room with one unuseable. The hotel has a large covered swimming pool that is over-chlorinated. Staff were very good especially Rosby, our Room Attendant. The hotel provides a secure 24 hour shuttle service to most locations for a small fee, or tip on the "free" routes. Seems the main customers are Koreans driving 18 holes at the nearby golf course, and the 19th at night.
Such a locely place. Pmsl ...Omg .... The pictures in agoda are wonderful lovely rooms pool to have a great relaxing swimming ...Reality check room was dusty smelly the cockroaches welcomed you as you went for a shower. Which was the best feature of this so called hotel the dreamy swimming pool had a covering on the roof space which made it even more unwelcoming to swim in I never even attempted to swim in it the staff managed to smile and wasn't miserable. Guests there are mostly Korean. Maybe just maybe they have got lovely rooms swimming pool but not where I was on my departure which could not come quick enough a cock roach decided to cling on my bag. Maybe he had enough as well. Very disappointing
This hotel is definitely good for Korean travelers, from lobby, front desk, room setup to staff, feel like it's a Korean hotel all the way. Location isn't ideal but they offer pickup and drop off service which is convenient. Standard room is in acceptable size and fairy clean but the whole building looks old and need some immediate updates. Instead of each room, there are safes in the lobby next to reception. Overall it's just so so.
This Hotel though it is not close to being a 4 or 5 star. The service was outstanding. They have a very nice size pool. Very good massage area. The restaurant was very good. Yes it is true it is Korean owned and lots of Koreans. I had no problems with this hotel. They give you a free ride to and from walking street and you can bring a guest up to your room with no problems. All of the employees to include the security are very friendly. This is an outstanding budget hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily. I would recommend this hotel for all single people. I have seen families stay at the hotel, however may not be suitable for some with children. The hotel was safe and ok for all guest. Also will give you free ride up to Clark Airport. I will stay here again. I stayed in Feb. of 2015.…
This hotel should be renamed from Hotel Calfornia to Hotel Koreano. This hotel needs a serious upgrade from the Lobby, elevator, rooms, a/c, tv and floor tiles. Room needs to be insulated too. At one point, a group of drunk koreans arrived 4am and I thought the hotel was on fire.
little dirty. But cheep. So i think good. Just so so. Have singing room. Kalaoke. 24 hour room service. Good pickup drop service. 3days more sleep late check out free Food for korean. Picture is deluxe room.
we inquire about rates at this hotel the staff at the front desk told us its 1,200 for the room and 1,500 with breakfast.. she is kind enough to show us the room and the pool area.. so we booked the room with breakfast.. the next day when we are about to check out they asked us to pay another 250 because the breakfast they said is only for 1.. they should have informed us earlier about that besides we hardly eat their food all korean and oily fried pork and egg.. room is ok but the bathroom is filthy.. its a bit rundown.. its ok for a short stay.. but the pricing should be clear and precise..
I moved here after booking another nearby hotel that I found too noisy and only had a double bed. This hotel had KING bed and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. The TV was an old Korean-made CRT 32" , but sound and picture quality were decent. They have added a few more "western channels" since last year, to attract a wider variety of guests, since they are Korean-owned and tend to have Korean customers mostly. The room had a mid-sized fridge. There is no safety box in the room > they have been relocated to the lobby due to many guests missing items. ( Too many hacks on youtube is likely!). CCTV will record all access to your safety box now. The pool is very good here, with cubbies/seating areas surrounding, but seems they are still under construction to be made into cabana types. One note on SAFETY > the tiles surrounding the pool have smooth finish and when wet are VERY SLIPPERY !! BE VERY CAREFUL when walking near the pool.( They really need to fix this !) The korean-style buffet breakfast did not appeal to me, so I choose the room price with "no breakfast". There are many nearby resto's so you can always find a place to eat easily. I big PLUS for me was the shuttle-bus to Field's Avenue and when staying 2 nights or more at Hotel California they provide free transport to/from Clark airport if you're flying in/out. The owner/manager definitely cares about his customers here. Overall I enjoyed my stay for THREE reasons: 1.) I slept well with the large and comfortable bed and pillows 2.) I was never disturbed in my room from noise or staff(the reason I left my previous hotel) 3.) The staff were always friendly and helpful and the "Room-Boy" did a great job cleaning my room so he was well-tippped !…
I booked a room with a balcony and a pool view , I got a balcony and for two nights could not connect to wifi anywhere but the lobby ,my room was not made up between nights and I was continually tripping over the mini steps in the bathroom and sink area ,the pool is quite nice but extremely slippery with high gloss tiles around a wet area ?? Overall quite average the hotels name probably keeps it in business !!
