Kokomos Hotel is situated in the heart of the night life action of the Fields Avenue. The hotel is a bit outdated needs maintenance. Most of the rooms don't have windows, making the place too damn and depressing sometimes. The hotel has a night club attached and they play loud music till the early hours of the day. The staff and drunk customer's will keep you awake. Not at all appropriate for family and kids. Please stay away from this hotel if you are planning to come with family and kids. This hotel is classified as "adult hotel". The food in the bar is good and the beers are the cheapest in the Walking street. Ther service staff are ok, sometimes moody. Overall it's good hotel if you planning to be in centre of Angeles city red light district.
I had made a reservation with HOTEL.COM , locked in a price and paid in full with my credit card. When we arrived at the hotel they did not accept our reservation. They suggested I cancel my reservation and book the room directly from them, and pay cash at a HIGHER PRICE than the price i had locked in my original booking. Do they think im stupid? Its their loss, cause i was also a customer of the restaurant, now i will not go there anymore. I found a better deal somewhere else on expedia.
The hotel desk staff didn't honor my reservation. The reservation was confirmed face-to-face the day before check-in. They actually blamed me for not checking in by noon, a made-up requirement that was never communicated. Unfortunately I have to say that the front desk staff are incompetent. Please don't waste your time staying at this hotel. There are plenty of better options a few steps away.
The food here is decent. The menu is massive, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel part though is poor. Rooms are overpriced. Wifi is very poor and spotty. Room was dirty, and obviously not cleaned from the prior guest. No free water like most other hotels. Spotted several bugs in my room. The noise from the restaurant and go go bar below is very loud and is constant. Weak shower. The pool is tiny with no sun beds or ability to suntan.
The hotel is really old, dirty and crappy. They claim to offer wifi but the signal is weak inside the room. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet flush was not working. Water pressure was really weak, we had to ask for a pail in order for us to get a decent bath. A lot of foreigners booking this hotel as it is cheap and inside he red light district. Noise from the street party outside was creeping inside my room. I had to figure out how does the TV and TV Box work. Good line up of channels though. They had a ref and the air-conditioning is good. I only booked the economy room and still is not satisfied why it costs 1,500. Sogo deluxe rooms are way cheaper and cleaner than this hotel.
If you’ve got a hankering for a simple American breakfast early morning, this is one of several places to go. It’s a basic menu for breakfast and you’ll get to observe the street at a different time of the day than most. Breakfast itself is 24/7, which is great for the jet lagged visitor. I usually go for the combo with French toast. It will remind you of Denny’s with a defiantly different view. WiFi is pretty good too. I’ve never stayed at the hotel. It looks like what one might expect from the area.
The hotel is excellently located and facilities are good. The restaurant has a great range of food. The rooms themselves are average with a few maintenance issues. The best rooms to stay in are those located poolside. All inside rooms are susceptible to noise from the go go bar and also the walls between rooms are thin and you can hear all the activities in adjoining rooms. This also means that they can hear your activities.
Great place to stay and eat were foreigners stay in Angeles city Philippines great choice price wise $20 and less Not so hidden gems it's right I'm the middle of walking street closer to all bar and pubs, food are so delicious have lots of foreign food choices and since I miss thaifood I eat Thai food that was good 😘
I frequently have my lunch here. The staff is great and the meal portions are quite large. However, the breakfast menu is quite skimpy, so if you are having breakfast, I recommend heading over to Phillies. The WiFi is poor...non-existent.
Large portions wholesome food for the Philippines while you people watch on the strip. Worth getting a couple of dishes and sharing. Inside have air conditioning and at the back of the restaurant a quiet garden.
