Needed a place to stay overnight after long flight from the US via Korea. The hotel lobby was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and courteous. Te room was clean, the bed was comfortable, clean bathroom. Free wi-fi, but you have to get the password from the desk. Within walking distance of places to eat.

Stayed here for a few nights for the first time. The rooms are pretty huge, the bed is a massive king size, and it's really high up from the ground. The staff here were superb although I never tried their breakfast because I just couldn't wake up I read its pretty good. I paid 1750 peso including breakfast per night booking through email. This hotel has a haunted past and the locals seem to call it chop chop; many locals are unnecessary scared of it to this day, which is really a shame coz its a good hotel for a decent price.

Hotels in similar range in Angeles goes about 1250; so for a 500 premium peso u get a larger room, a king bed, a swimming pool and a great breakfast. What they can improve on is the washroom which can look abit more modern.

I did not plan to stay in this hotel but was on a short-notice trip and decided that it would be best to rest overnight before continuing on my journey. I saw the hotel and it looked very well maintained, so I stopped and asked for any vacancies.

The check-in process was seamless. I had a single room and the bed was huge. The bed was of the Memory foam type that seems to be very popular. There was plenty of space and everything worked well.

If you're from the US and have any electrical items that require a 3-prong adapter, you will need to bring one with you. The room is not wired with that type, only the 2-prong type.

The shower was awesome in that it had a rain-shower head similar to what I have at home. However, what is bad is that water runs from the tub onto the floor, regardless of what you do. There is a drain built into the floor for this but it's still a hassle and something they should fix.

I slept well and had no complaints regarding noise.

There are major construction and renovation projects underway at the facility so they are improving. This is an up and coming hotel. They are doing it right. It is in a safe area and the food in the restaurant was good.

I would stay here again and recommend it for others who may be in the area. They do a great job and the prices are very reasonable.

I would strongly not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is used as a quarantine facility with the rate 2,000 php/day. For this price I want to have the proper breakfast, lunch and dinner, that will include fruits and vegetables. But instead I receive rice three times per day and something fried in a lot of oil - pork fat, soy meat, etc.
This hotel host COVID positive people who is required a good food, fruits, vegetables, meat, chicken but instead only rice all the time. No chicken, no beef was served to me. When I asked reception why do I get this type of food when I pay 2,000 php and how do you want covid positive people to recover from the illness the receptionist said “all people receive the same type of food”. Yes, sure, but I pay for it 2,000 php and the price is higher than average price in the hotel in the Philippines, it is not my choice but this is choice of LGU that forced me to stay in your hotel and pay to you 2,000 php per night. Does Department of Health (DOH) know about this? If they don’t know then I will make sure they do.
To get hot water I need to call reception multiple times and the girl at the reception just hung up on me all the time, is this a service you would like to have? I don’t and this for sure.
I attach a photo of the bath tube that I scared to use as it can just break under my weight that is just 49 kg and there is something disgusting attached to this bath tube that you can see on the picture.

I usually stay at America Hotel when in Angeles, yet after looking at the new rooms yesterday I elected to stay elsewhere. The old building is being demolished, but new tower is open now. The standard room with queen bed is 1,700p and no discounting even though the pool has been ripped out of the old building. ( The old building will be rebuilt by year end). The bed is comfortable, yet the room was like so many others. . no more character or charm :( The new Chinese-owned America Hotel has a huge Guanjiou restaurant seating 200+ and obviously is catering to the rapidly growing middle-class chinese tourist. The only positive I could see was that they now offer a 24hr rate, so you checkout 24hrs after your check-in. I may try one night here before i leave next week, and will update as required.

I would soon stay on the seediest streets of Manila rather then return to Hotel America!
Ok I will be brief; I am prone to high blood pressure. Stayed on the 10th floor and at 1030 pm they started moving furniture from a prior wedding on the floor above! After about an hour of this raucous insanity, and in spite of numerous calls ,, I went up stairs and a bunch of their wotkers in their teens were breaking down chairs and cookers. When I prodded them, they looked shocked.

They moved my family a down few floors (no cart),,more like an evacuation. I was so angry I tried to take a shower to cool my boiling blood,,,immediately water started running on floor from the non level bath sile.

This place is a total joke.

Oh PS the breakfast is akin to Prison food. Good luck!

i stayed here a few times, mostly because other hotels were booked.it is cheap,on off season you can ask for a deal, and they nocked off 15%.one problem i had was checking out,she told me i owe 100 peso for missing chips, that i didnt take.i had to pay or they dont let you leave.this is a scam they do a lot.if you have to check in tell them you want the bar fridge empty.this is a very dirty hotel, very dirty pool, unless you like a mouthfull of bugs.never order food here.they cook it out of site in the back room.and if you don,t eat it, dont worry the staff will eat it.most bar girls wont be taken there because of the horrable murder they had there.bar girl head was choped off. for a extra $5.you can get 10 times better hotel,,just trust me dont eat at American hotel.don't get fooled by the name ,its not owned by an American

Staff:
The staffs were wonderful. They gave us a warm and welcomed greeting. They were very attentive to our needs and provided prompt room service. The restaurant crews were hard working and catered to all our requests.

Room:
We stayed in room 609. We were located on the back corner of the hotel with a great view of the city. The room was spacious with adequate amenities. The mini fridge was not fully stocked, but it was a medium sized unit, so we had plenty of room to load it with the snacks and drinks we bought from the local convenient store outside. Always be mindful about the furniture inside the room. The hotel actually has a list of how much you will pay "just in case" you damage or ruin a piece of furniture. The shower and bath room were adequate. There was plenty of hot water, and the water pressure was good. The shower did have one glitch. No matter what we did, the shower curtain could not keep all the water inside of the shower. When we done showering, there was an inch of water covering the entire bathroom floor. Regarding the cable TV and internet. The internet was good. The speed was decent and the connection was reliable. However, the cable TV was inadequate. The cable service had limited programming, and the numbers of commercials were unbearable. The cable TV had no sports stations, poor movie selection, and maybe one station for the kids' cartoons. Our recommendation: Leave the TV off.

Food:
We did not try the hotel's food the first night. We were not impressed with the prices and photos of the food in their menu. We ordered pizza from a local pizza pub. The next morning we tried their complimentary breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. I had the 'American' breakfast with the ham and a scrambled egg. My husband had the same with the bacon and poached egg. The breakfast was complimentary, and it tasted like it. The scrambled eggs were good, but the ham was foul. It had a 'fishy' flavor. My husband didn't even finish his plate. The bacon tasted like it was old. The poached egg was bland and had no flavor. Our confidence in the hotel's food was low until we tried their dinner. The dinner at the restaurant was much better tasting. We ordered the honey lemon chicken, fried rice, roast pork loin, and sweet and sour dory. The food was great. It was much better than the breakfast. We were happy about the dinner food.

Overall
We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to a friend. We would stay there again.
