Very disappointed tonight at the Oasis restaurant. Our service was very slow and unprofessional. The main courses very extremely slow coming out and only came after we ask the waiter. Then they were wrong and cold. So they must have been sitting there but waiter never brought them out. My friend and I ordered baked potato but got cold mashed. The fish was cold and over done. I think the problem is they add 10 percent tip onto your bill so the waiters don't care because they will make money without providing good service.
1966 old hotel, it was booked by my client for me. suppose stay for 3 night, I stayed for one night only & I check out on the following day. horrible, terrible old hotel. just one night only I move to park inn radisson hotel. first the rooms are all using old wood furniture, the aircon not cold, just like heater, old bed, shower not strong enough, rooms are scary. bfast are sucks too. all foods or dishes are cold. dont like the restaurants waiter , no services at all. hotel shuttle bus only 7pm to 11pm. I think for other guests to red light district. most of the guests check in there are old man bringing girls, yuks! dont like this kind if hotels. never recommend this old hotel.
The breakfast buffet was so delicious. There are a lot of options to choose from and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The feel of the hotel was cozy and peaceful which is just right for business meetings and couple who wants alone time.
Despite its old age, I was surprised how this classic hotel can maintain its cleanliness and its beauty. Everything is simple and serene. Personally, I think its biggest pride would be its people!!!!!
An old classic hotel, impeccably maintained. Standard king room is big clean and excellent, with your own bath tub. Hotel staff are delightful from the army of gardeners and housekeepers to the Maranao restaurant chefs and waiters. Friendly, feels like home. Nice big clean pool, well maintained newly retiled I was told. Near airport. Views of Cessna planes taking off or coming home from the pool... quite interesting. Highly recommended for couples or families needing space and silence away from the busy city life.
I only just join here to say how nice a exoerience staying at the oasis hotel was ...its set back away from walking street and only 5 minutes trike or jeepney away to sm clark... The hotel itself is wonderful with spacious rooms and buffet breakfast mostly included in your stay which in my opinion is the best in Angeles cos its variety ... The staff are very friendly and always willing to help you and wish u a good day with a smile and reception staff also (especially Mitch ) who was very helpful in my booking ....wifi is good n fast connection and the pool is quite big (kidney shape) and u get to use pool towels rather than yours or rooms ones. I would and will always choose oasis over any other hotel just because its relaxing n set away from downtown angeles but not to far away...go ahead im sure you wont be disappointed…
. The restrooms have bath tub and bidet . They don't have electric kettle but there's thermos in the room which you can bring to their water station to get hot water. Ice is also available there. as well . I like that they have "Emergency button". It was accidentally pushed by my son, it's just located in the lamp table. Immediately we received a call from front desk asking what's the matter. We apologized for what happened. . I think their location is safe because it's inside a village/subdivision yet very near to major establishments. . All their staff are friendly and accommodating. . Special mentions to their staff during our breakfast - Chedrick, Darell, Erick and Rocky. They are very kind to offer my sons something to eat, because they've noticed that my sons just ate scrambled egg and a pancake . They don't have a kiddie pool. At start, it's 5ft already, but they let you borrow safety vest for kids (since I'm short, I didn't enjoy much their pool hehe) …
This hotel has great staff and amenities. Security will great you on the first had and bell boys will always there to give a hand of your belongings. Rooms are clean as well as their bathroom. But I would like to recommend to have a kettle inside the room as we need to get to the concierge to get hot water in the middle of the night. They have buffet breakfast with great variety of food to choose from. A great place to stay just a couple of minutes away from the airport. They also have shuttle service to send you to Clark Airport.
Can't understand the negative reviews online, this place truly is an OASIS - super quiet, full of plants, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful pool with a bar, great food at restaurant ...hope to be back here again soon!!
Overall I cannot say that the hotel is totally bad, but we made some very bad experiences and like to share them with other travelers. Most important, don’t book a taxi or a Mt Pinatubo Tour there: Pro: - close to the airport - not directly at the street - pool with free towels - breakfast starts at 6am and is not so small Con: - receptionist tried to get way to much money for a taxi to Santa Juliana for the Mt Pinatubo after we didn’t want to book a tour with her 3000 PHP only one way (with bus and Tricycle it was 350) when we asked how often buses to Capas are leaving, they also didn’t want to help us or tell when it starts - I choose in the hotel restaurant the steak with buffet. It was cold and when I told them, they warmed it up, but still was half cold - it was really a pity what they did to the meat - the air con is super loud but that seems standard in PH - some planes directly fly over the complex - the big ones are quite loud - parts of the bed sheets didn’t seem clean - as hotel guest you can just pay cash at the pool Not sure if I would recommend the hotel. Definitely not for reception and restaurant. …
