The rooms are ok albeit small. The staff is friendly. Yesterday morning, there was no water. No water for shower, no water for washing your hands. No water for the toilet to flush. I talked with the staff and they said it would be fixed quickly. The water outage continued into the evening. The staff continued to give different explanations on what was being done to fix the problem ... and the explanation was always changing. The manager was never available to talk to. This morning there is a small flow (think of fast drips) of water. But it is only cold. The staff says it will be fixed and hot in a few minutes. 4 hours later, I still only have hot water. The hotel is building an expansion immediately behind the hotel and on the side. My room has a window, but it is completely blocked by the cement wall of the new building a few inches away. The construction noise is quite loud with drills, hammering, and tile cutting. It begins at 8 am everyday and often continues until 10 pm. The staff does not offer any help with this noisy problem. The manager is not to be found and has not called me as promised. …
I did not find staff welcoming or friendly. Room safe and TV both had problems but the maintenance guy was prompt and fixed it. Bed is small for two and comes with a thin blanket only and two skinny pillows. Toiletries-hardly any, no hair dryer, no bath mat for the slippery floor, two towels only. Only a very small safe just enough for my fanny pack, small refrigerator. Its a budget hotel but compared with other properties it lacks many things. No elevator, no restaurant etc. For similar price you can find hotels with pool, restaurant. Location is good.
There is ongoing, very noisy construction going on around the outside of the hotel. Construction is Monday through Saturday, starting at 830am sharp, and ending around 5pm. There is a lunch break for an hour or so, then construction starts back up around 1pm. There is no way around the noise, neither front or back of hotel can get you away from the loud pounding, drilling, and sawing that seems to vibrate through the whole building. The balcony rooms are nice and roomy, but the sliding glass doors are not sound proofed very well so you here cars, motorcycles, sellers, and vagrants on the street. There is one particular lady that yells like a banshee at around 9am after the loud pounding has started. I think shes crazy and yelling at the construction guys, because I hear them yelling back. Maybe shes fed up too like me. I would only stay at this hotel if your a non-drinker and and early riser or you WILL NOT be a happy camper. Nothing worse than pounding on concrete and metal along with a pounding headache. This isn't a knock on the hotel. If they improved there sound proofing on the balcony doors, it would be just fine and without construction going on of course. Some people complain about the lack of elevator, but its only four floors and I know I need the exercise. If you have large luggage, the door guard will carry it up for you. Ask the hotel before you book the status of the construction and also ask your friends here to double check its completion before staying here. Once the construction is done, its a decent hotel in a good location. I would personally stay in the non-balcony rooms because of the street noise.…
This was a nice place nothing fancy but a place to sleep. Close to restaurants. I would stay there again as the price was very fair and the service was nice. This place is not a full service hotel but nice.
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week. Excellent location and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a very good size and clean and tidy. The only downside was that there was no lift and had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs. With mainly female staff, it is very difficult when carrying luggage.
This is a newer small hotel. It does not have a restaurant or a pool. The rooms are large, with good beds. We had a balcony. The price is good and the staff were very friendly. They tried to talk us into staying longer. There is a small bar in the lobby, but I never saw anyone sitting there.
I stayed here for 3 nights in the balcony room @ around $60 a night. The room was big enough for 3 adults and a child. I liked the balcony where you can relax and look at the building in front of you. The room its self is a bit dark. The hotel is in the back street of the main action, within a 2 minute walk, so it is quiet and safe. The staff was friendly and the security spot on. Eating places everywhere.
Booked direct to hotel. It was slightly cheaper than the hotel sites. The hotel did want a deposit but accepted PayPal so it was simple. Staff were very good and helpful (this was biggest positive factor). Hotel is modern in design. The Cons are no elevator and no pool. The hotel has only four floors so lack of elevator is not that bad. Location is on quite street not far from Fields Ave and Walking street.
I stayed at this [;ace couple of times, Nice quite place and value for Money.. The only thing is no internet, Staff were good and compliment to the Manageress . Located in the heart of balibago . If you are going for fun than this is your place
The hotel has very clean rooms all with ceramic tiles the air-con is very quiet and cools your room even on very hot days quickly, there are flat screen TV's and lots of free channels. The shower is good and height pressure. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
