Good Price, Good Location, bakery nearby excellent and cheap. Big rooms, good staff. Construction next door, and the water is undrinkable, rusty and orange, even shower gives you MDR of Fe. Complained at desk, to no avail. Been coming here for years, too. Previous owner cared.
At arrival and until day three, the bathroom trash bin had the used toilet paper from the previous guest. In Asia they discourage flushing toilet paper, so public restrooms have bins of full of soiled toilet paper. But I’ve never seen it in a hotel room bathroom after cleaning. Also condom wrappers under the bed. The room WiFi was down for several days so that one had to go to the restaurant for the internet. No windows. Staff entered my room more than just to change towels, as returning mid afternoon had the lights on an the fan off. Once one left a toothbrush in the bathroom, apparently after using my toothpaste. 24 hour kitchen means bad odor and constant noises such a stacking dishes. Friendly staff, but the cost does not correspond to the quality. The hotel is in a great location and I love the restaurant as it is very entertaining (but slightly pricey) but there are hotels around the corner that are similarly priced and perhaps cleaner.…
This is a great comfortable clean and friendly place in an ideal location. The girls working the desk are awesome. Its family friendly and secure location You can order foods from the menus and its delivered from their main kitchen a mile up the street.
First time to stay at kokomos Suites and found it to be a great experience. The room was clean, well maintained and set up neatly. Location is close to shopping, restaurants, laundry and local transport (jeepney terminal at the end of the street). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was towards the rear of the hotel and had two element electric cooktop, microwave oven and larger refrigerator. Only thing missing was cooking utensils and pots. Well set up for disabled or aged guests with ramps and grab rails in needed areas. Hotel was formerly Medgar Appartel.
The room is very wide and calm. The room is very clean. room making is very early. The front lady is very maganda. and they are very freiendly. This hotel is very quiet. and near Sven Eleven, masage another shops.
Friendly employees. Bedding is old and thread bare. It need to be updated. Nothing ihas changed much in 5 years.. Everything seemed to be of better quality when it was called Medgar. Having some sort of breakfast would be nice.
Dear Kokomo's Suites Hotel, Thank you all for making our stay for one month so pleasurable! We always try to treat everyone with respect and kindness and the same was always given back to us. We had 2 problems while there and the hotel took care of fixing both problems within 24 hours and one was to totally rebuild the air conditioner in our room and the other was to replace a ceiling fan. Most hotels would take forever to fix anything, so the management team (Raquel & Steve) should be highly recognized for such excellent customer service and making it a priority to make our stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. During our month long stay we had two scheduled brownouts without electric for 8 hours plus and one unscheduled brown out during the night. Both times their Hugh modern generator came on and we had electricity for everything, Air Con, Hot Water and Yes Internet!!! I am sure it is expensive to run and maintain that Hugh generator- Thanks Kokomo's Suites Hotel. The front desk staff was always very pleasant, smiling and helpful along with the 2 sweet house keepers. There is always a security guards watching your motor bike throughout the night and opening the front door with a smile upon your arrival. As a plus the hotel helps trains college student’s which are called OJT’s (On-the-job trainee). Having more people at the hotel is always an added bonus for everyone especially if one of the staff becomes sick. Again great management, staff, and OJT’s so we highly recommend this hotel. One hint… In the Philippines as everywhere always showing kindness & respect goes a long way :-)… Jason & Maria…
Where to start? Floor of our room had not been cleaned before we arrived.... Poor first impression. It looks exactly like advertised. Bedding and towels changed daily but don't expect new laundry as it is old and well worn. Could do with a general freshen up but then again I knew the colour of the rooms from the photos. Room toilet and shower area was dirty and mouldy. Even for the low price this is not good enough. Unless you deal directly with the manager of the hotel do not expect the staff to do anything for you. I had a blocked toilet through no fault of my own and was handed a plunger??? I am the paying guest.... What is that all about? Our room had 2 TV sets.... The new one... And the old one still fastened to the wall not working. How lazy is that? I had a good stay here only spoiled by a couple of little things. 5 minutes extra from the cleaner and higher level of staff service would make this a great hotel as the location is fantastic. …
I stayed at this hotel in November 2015. I had enjoyed my stay and I had given the hotel a very good rating. Fast forward two years later and I had a very different experience. I stayed in a Deluxe room on the first floor. The main problems were: * Really lousy wifi. I took speed tests ranging from 100 to 400 kbps. Sometimes the connection would die completely. I informed the front desk several times, they reset the router but no improvement. There is one router per floor, a major upgrade should be done here. Two years ago I took speed tests of 1-4 Mbps, obviously they're having major problems with their provider. * Noisy. The window didn't close completely (the view was some trash and the building wall next door), plus noises can clearly be heard from the corridor and other rooms. * Low shower water pressure that changes erratically. * The rooms need disinfection at this point, not just a good cleaning. It's an old building, there are some corners in the room and the bathroom that look disgusting. The plus points are the eager cleaning and reception staff, but there's only so much they can do. The owners need to refurbish the entire place. The other pluses are the location (about a 5 min walk to Fields and a 15 min walk to SM Clark) and the bed which was big and rather comfortable.…
