Nestled in a traditional Balinese setting, Balisani Suites Hotel captivates guests with its authentic atmosphere, complete with lush gardens and stonework, though the charm is slightly marred by areas that seem lackluster and dated. The staff earns accolades for their warm service, despite occasional lapses. Visitors frequently commend the hotel's cleanliness and the array of amenities, such as the scenic oceanfront views and the inviting pool.
However, the value proposition is met with criticism, as some guests point out subpar food and maintenance issues. Room experiences vary, with some praising the comfort and space, while others are dissatisfied with upkeep and dated decor.

A serene resort with a few minor issues. I will cover the review in detail. So this place is right next to a beach with a beautiful view. The pool is also very nice with a built in jacuzzi which is very nice to sit in. Do mind that the major part of pool is deep at almost 8 feet but still it’s very nice.
I had a private pool suite with ocean view which was very nice and had garden view room which was also very very nice , almost made me question the price of private pool suite with ocean view . But all in all both were very nice. The room has all basic amenities and the best part was a Swedish massage right at the ocean for just 10 dollars. The food was also great and hospitality was also very good. Their breakfast setup is also very good right next to an ocean. I just had 2 minor complaints: a) the water in bathroom is not desalinated which makes brushing teeth & showering quite bad experience. b) Food should be a bit reasonably priced. I found price 20% higher quoted for same type of foods found at different hotels. Therefore I would give it 4.3/5. Also do check out atlas club which is very close to the resort.

3 star hotel at best! On arrival and throughout stay reception staff not particularly friendly and looked disinterested in general. No welcome drink on arrival, room was nice but bed was rock hard had to ask for mattress topper it was that bad, all my family thought same. General condition of hotel worn and shabby, pool table broken, pool area nice gardens well kept but again tiling broken and unstable around pool area. Pool staff equally bored unfriendly and disinterested, music on a speaker propped up on bar rather than through proper PA system , could barely hear it unless you were right beside bar . In my opinion either play background balinese music for relaxing vibes or play music loud for upbeat pool party vibes. Food was ok. Spa was beautiful and very good therapists however again on arrival was offered a special voucher for spa which was same price as massage on menu so it wasn’t a discount at all seemed pointless. Security guys were awesome so friendly, made a point of coming out to chat, remembered our names, pool towel guy the same. Recommend put security guys in hotel bar they would get that holiday vibe going and put Pool towel guy on reception, renovate place needs a facelift

The backyard of the hotel is the black sand beach. Thus beach is ugly and wave is big. Though water is warm people usually stand in water to avoid strong wave. You don't find many local restaurants in the area. Restaurants at hotel and several near by ones don't serve authentic Indonesian food but cook western cuisines. Hotel has a nice garden with decoration of Asia flavor such as wood trim around balcony. Rooms are very spacious but linens are not clear white. In other words they are dark white due to heavy use. The building itself also look old. The breakfast is mediocre with a mixture of local and western food. Dinner is more western than Asian and thus expensive.
Location is isolated and Bali is known for poor transportation. I can get car sick because roadway is narrow. It takes a long time to get anywhere.

My husband and I have travelled to Bali 25 times over 30 years, as a young couple, with three children and now as an older couple. We had never stayed in Seminyak before so decided to give it a go. The Balisani seemed to tick the boxes, oceanfront, swim up bar, poolside resturant, bali style gardens and decor and moderate budget of $170 a night for a Garden Suite. It was the worst stay in Bali we have experienced. Firstly, the Balisani is so far out of Seminyak center. You can walk there on the beach (path has washed away) but wear shoes as we saw syringes washed up on the beach. Then secondly, everything at the hotel is just ‘half done’ and unless you are reminding staff to complete an entire request then it just didnt get done. The roof of our suite leaked in multiple places… it was ‘fixed’ by putting towels on the floor, the toilet leaked constantly, that was also ‘fixed’ with a towel on the floor, soaking up effluent and causing a terrible smell. I had to ask the room cleaner to actually mop the floor in our room and change the sheets after we were both sick (which can happen anywhere in Bali). The food at the hotel was appalling, tasteless and poorly presented. The breakfast (no bacon) was bland with limited choices and the toasers only cooked bread on one side. The hotel ‘forgot’ my request for the anniversary package I made when I booked and I had to remind them. The pool area was pleasant but dont bother with the cocktails or the food. Despite a good range on the menu, both were awful. The massage at the hotel is constantly interrupted by people walking past, enquiring about a massage or the horrible rap/reggae music coming from the poolbar. Worst of all was the mould all over the ceiling in the room (see photos). This made it unbearable for us to continue our stay and we left two days early as the mould caused respiratory issues for both of us. This hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Stay somewhere else.

We booked Balisali Suites on Booking.com; payment to be made at the hotel. At our midnight arrival we were told the price was ~4% higher despite showing the desk clerk our reservation. (The next day we contacted Booking and were told they had to honor the quoted price—the hotel refused to refund the difference.)
Being shown the room, we found it warm. When I realized they did not know our arrival time, it was obvious the AC system had been running for some time. The remote setting was 16 yet it was probably 26. A maintenance man came and checked it saying it was operating at peak performance and would not get any cooler.
Next, we logged into the hotel’s WiFi finding around 1.3 mb speed—and then only intermittently. I called the desk and was told the IT Guy would check it out at 9 am, at the same time the AC would be fixed. At 9, no one showed. I went to speak to the manager and was told “he’s on his way.” At 12, I checked again, “he’ll be here at 3.” At 3, “he got tied up but will be here soon.” The several times we passed the front desk, we were never given any updates.
The WiFi did improve to ~5mb but it was still intermittent. WE did our important online activity at the reception desk. We learned to make do with the AC by keeping window shades closed, bathroom door closed and with only minimal lighting.
We were so fed up that for the next day had we been offered a free night, we would have turned it down.
Breakfast was acceptable. The setting was nice but would be enhanced by trimming trees to permit greater viewing of the beach.
The grounds and pool are nice.
There is a public road between the hotel and beach.
I did not appreciate being strung along by the manager; however, every other staff member we encountered was very nice and wanted us to have a pleasant stay.
WiFi throughout the property is confusing: ~60 at the reception area, ~30 at the pool, yet ~1.6 at the restaurant which was about 15 meters from the reception area.
Overall, this hotel experience was one of the worst I can ever recall having.

I used Grab to get to the airport, it took about 30 minutes and cost IDR108K (about 1000 yen) without any early morning traffic. It is located in an area on the edge of Seminyak, and you have to go through one road to get anywhere. It is a good hotel if you don't want to move around much and want to relax at the beach or hotel. The deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a shower with good water pressure and temperature control, and fast WiFi. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. There is a convenience store and laundry shop within a 5-minute walk, which is convenient. It is a classical Balinese-style hotel, and the staff are all kind and friendly. I was able to stay at an affordable price, so it was great value for money and I had a very comfortable stay.

A wonderful hotel not far from the airport on the very oceanfront in authentic Balinese style. The hotel is clean, very green, with a subtle aroma of frangipani throughout the territory, the staff is friendly, the food is good, there is a choice (7 types of fruit every day, potatoes, fried rice, porridge, udon, Tom Yum and much more for breakfast) but every day same. In the evenings, all the beautiful sunsets are yours (the photo shows sunsets near the hotel, without filters or photoshop). Nearby there are many cafes, shops, beach clubs, a pharmacy, money changers, etc. For eating out, I highly recommend Warung Sobat and Watercress, Uniboul, from supermarkets the best prices are in Circle K. Not far down the street (next to the women's clothing store on the left side, if you walk from the hotel) there is a store like our Beeline, where you can buy a SIM card or top up your balance at several times cheaper. You can stock up on fruit at the Pepito supermarket, you can walk there or take a taxi for 100 rubles by car. (15-21000 rupees, prices may vary depending on the Grab or Gojack taxi). The hotel also has some shortcomings: disgusting WI-FI (it works by the pool and lobby, but not in the room) and the absence of a breakwater on the beach, which results in big waves, so you won’t always be able to swim, especially with children. But for this there is a large swimming pool. An additional plus: the room always and immediately has hot, very soft water (the tap water is not salty). The air conditioner is working, there are no living creatures in the room. Excellent hotel for the price! I would go back there again.

The facility is high class, and has the service to match. We stayed in an Ocean View Suite, which was extremely spacious and well appointed, comprising balcony jacuzzi an internal spa, and endless snacks and bottled water. At reception Ari Fo, was professional, friendly and efficient. Ari took care of many of our bookings for dinner, tours and much more. She is a first class act. Thanks for the stay......we will be back. Ali and Greg, Melbourne

I spent 4 days and 3 nights. Feel the real Bali and have an extraordinary relaxing experience because of its location right in front of Batu Belig beach. This hotel is an old hotel but very well maintained. +++
1. The price is very affordable with such a big room, especially in front of the beach. 2. Location is easy to reach. 3. Very comfortable place to relax. 4. The air is very cool and we are woken up by birds singing in the morning. 5. Lots of plants, cool and beautiful. 6. Near minimarkets, local shops and Mari Beach Club. 7. You can rent a motorbike or car.
---
1. Hopefully it's just my feeling, all employees are not friendly with local people. Understandably at that time I was the only local guest, all of them were foreign guests. 2. If there are lots of mosquitoes at night, I don't sleep well... and I even buy Baygon spray. 3. Breakfast is bland especially the fried rice is terrible. Please improve. 4. Even though the location is super cool, the area is congested from Petitenget and Kerobokan. I highly recommend renting a motorbike to get around Bali.

As we stepped into the hotel lobby, which was more than few flights up. Entered into a large reception area, which looked daipilitated and required renovation.
The check in was quick and we were given a sea view room, the view was great. Except the view and the size of the room, everything in the room was not up to the mark. The furniture was very old, the flush not working properly to name a few not so good amenities.
The best part was the bedside didn’t have any plug points. I really was shocked to see that the late evening, when we came back to the room. I need to use CPAP machine to sleep and without any electric point to plug my machine , I panicked as without this facility, I would not be able to sleep. After few calls and people visiting our room, we were requested to change the room and there too no spare electrical point was available, so an extension cord was provided in which I could plug my CPAP.
The food was terrible too , though to keep records right, we just had breakfast and one snacks in the hotel.
I would never come back to this hotel and would also advise people not to book for their holidays in this hotel .
The only positive about the hotel, is location as it is hop skip and jump from a beach , the sea view of you get one and room size .

The hotel is literally on the beach front with nice sunset spot. You just go threw the gate. The beach is sandy. swimming in the pool with the view of the beach having food and cocktails in the swim up pool bar.
There are more places to choose from in the Seminyak area.
