Hotel with a breathtaking view of Manhattan. Comfortable bedding, spacious room. However, some additional furniture is missing for storing things (mainly in the bathroom). The lighting is a bit dark and could be improved.
The staff is pleasant, but nothing more. They do their job.
Cleaning was not done every day even though we stayed 10 days. To get it done I had to ask.
Nice Italian restaurant with good dishes. Breakfast is very expensive 30 dollars (unless I'm mistaken) per person. So we had breakfast not far away (for less than 30 dollars for 2).
Reaching NY from the hotel was really very convenient, the bus which drops you off at port authority in max. 10 minutes. From there you can either take various metro lines for your visits, or reach Times Square on foot in less than 5 minutes.
Right in front of the hotel you also have the possibility of taking the boat which crosses the Hudson River in 5 minutes to midtown which can also be very practical.
Bus/boat tickets can be purchased just before boarding through the apps.
NJ transit (bus) and/or NY waterways (boat).
Overall, we liked our stay at this hotel. However, bring a credit card for the deposit which can be high. In my case almost $800 in security deposit still not returned 15 days after my return. I point this out because $800 in a budget is not nothing.

The staff here is great!!! The BEDS will KILL your body, you feel all the springs and the pillows are terrible. Every morning I woke up in pain in my neck and back, to be clear, I don't have issues with either body part so it's just the beds. The sink in the rooms drain really slow as well and there was still hair from a previous guest in my sink. The city view rooms have beautiful views, especially at night. I was here for business and although this is a great location to conveniently travel to NYC with the ferry literally steps away, I just can't reccomend staying here if you have other options or you just really love the convenience. The hotel has 1 community microwave all the way in the lobby so you have to travel anytime you want to warm anything, there are no refrigerators in the room and 1 CAN soda is 5 dollars, I do not care how much money I have that is pretty expensive. I was planning on going to a spa before I leave the area but since the beds are so bad it will mess up the relaxation you paid for, so I'll wait. 1 more thing, if your a gym enthusiast like myself, be prepared to wait because the gym is very small & usually crowded, it was a pass for me because covid is still real. Speaking of covid, there are signs for masks everywhere but I only recall seeing 1 sanitizer dispenser in the hotel and you could miss that as you are walking into the lobby, but yet they say they are still in covid protocol when it comes to the microwaves and refrigerators.

This is my go to hotel when visiting NYC. Have not been in a few years, and I agree rooms need some updating, but overall a very good stay. Gilbert at front desk handled check-in very well. Very nicely explained benefit of taking bus over rail line into NYC. Bus stop just a half block away, $3.50 1-way charge into 42nd Ave bus station, and fairly easy 10-block walk south to Madison Square Garden. No stops along way, and we were at station in less than 20 minutes. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was a little low, and old fashioned Heat/AC unit was a little loud, but not uncomfortably so. Got a nice upgrade to room 619 which offered a partial view of city skyline. Breakfast next morning was excellent. Jorge went above an beyond. When I asked if I could get an extra egg, he stated "have two more....Have a dozen!" He definitely made our morning. Chose room rate that included parking, and overall a decent rate for the area. Plenty of parking outside in attached lot. Will return here during next trip to area. Only downside is that Arthur's Tavern, a perennial favorite Steak House that used to be down the street in Hoboken closed last year. Sorry to see that great establishment close up, but there's still The Chart House just a short walk away.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and will likely be where we will continue to come on our trips to NYC.
We were booked for six nights on this stay, and because of my husband's Titanium status with Marriott, we were upgraded to a city-view king room in the west wing. The view was AMAZING, and the west wing felt a bit secluded and was basically silent during our stay. Our room was spacious, with the sleeping area divided by the living area, and although I don't think it's the norm, we did have a small refrigerator in our room. I will say the bathroom was quite dark, and the shower was narrow with medium water pressure, but everything was clean, and we had everything we needed.
The bed deserves its own mention - it was DIVINE. It's amazing what a difference it makes to play hard all day and then be able to rest so well.
We drove here from Chicago, and there was always plenty of convenient parking close to the hotel's side door, so we rarely even needed to go through the lobby. The only times we did were to walk through to the ferry outside the front of the hotel, or to catch a Lyft. Transporation to/from this location is so convenient.
With the upgrade, we were also given generous breakfast vouchers for each morning, and everything we ordered was delicious. The front desk and restaurant staff were also very friendly each morning, and it was a nice way to start the day.

This is a great location - just hop on the bus and the next stop is the Port Authority Bus terminal in Midtown - walk to Times Square, Broadway etc. The views are excellent and the rooms generously sized. You can eat at Whole Foods like everyone else in the neighborhood does. It's so much cheaper than staying on the other side and the bus is nicer than the subway.

It don’t recall being at such a noisy old work down hotel ever before. Sound travels directly through the connection doors (be it loud late night arguments(had to complain at the front desk to get it stopped) or early morning online meetings). Room doors are old steel doors that slams loudly. Was at the 4th floor and got woken up by the morning emptying of the dumpsters. The floor of the room was with indents and the carpet well over it’s lifetime. Walk paper was loose around all edges in the bathroom and cobwebs hung in the corners of the room. The restaurant is too small the serve all guests for breakfast so do be early if you want to be seated without waiting (a person asked if he could sit at the bar to not take a table for four but was refused).
On a positive note the reception desk staff was friendly and it was nice to use the pool (remember to book it)

Great hotel with a large room and a wonderful view of downtown Manhattan. We stayed for a week and had complimentary bottled water and housekeeping service every day. The room was large and so was the bathroom. The location of the hotel is very good. You can get to Manhattan in around 10 minutes by bus (line 158, 156R 159) for 3.50 USD per person each way. You can also take the ferry right in front of the hotel. A supermarket, cafe and steak restaurant are in the immediate vicinity. The furnishings are a bit old-fashioned but comfortable, especially the bed was great! The only thing I would see improvement in is the water pressure in the shower, otherwise a great hotel!

It is an excellent option for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple, the views are privileged, the service is excellent, you just have to consider the additional cost of transportation, which is ultimately not that high, and is worth it. It has a nice pool, which is not heated, and being summer it felt a little cold, remember to ask for an appointment to use it.
The hotel restaurant is expensive, but the delivery apps work perfectly. The area is beautiful, the views from the hotel and the area in general are the best!

My husband and I went to Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel for July 4 2024. Amazing people who are the staff, along with Director of Food and Beverage, and the General Manager. We booked a room through a 3rd party, then called the hotel directly and made dinner reservations for the same day. 2 days before arrival we called to confirm dinner time. We were told our reservations were canceled being we were not staying there. upon arrival we went to the restaurant on premise (Beneci's) talked with wait staff and was told they are not taking reservations. Somehow we met Lori Crowley and explained everything. She right away told us to follow her and we will meet with the director of Food & Beverage (Meritan Kraja) and "not to worry" she said. He is such a wonderful man and an asset for this hotel. He is very polite, along with a calm demeanor on such a busy holiday. He asked us what time we would want to eat, and put our name down for dinner. We went back to check in, Lori was close by and went over to the computer as staff was putting in our info. She smiled and said "You have a great room!" We talked with her awhile and one thing that stands out is what she said. Her comment was what a great staff she has. We found out the next day that she is the General Manager of the hotel. We never met such a down to earth person who is that high up in a company and has high regards for her staff. She and Maritan so impressed us on how they were very hands on helping with whatever was needed from the customers. Shout out to Roy who helped my husband 3 times trying to print out tickets for the Intrepid museum. We had an enjoyable stay and we will be back again hopefully soon. Steve and Dawn Toth

I’ve stayed here quite a few times because I have to for work reasons. I feel bad about criticising it because there’s nothing offensive about it and the people who work here have a willing and helpful attitude. It’s just it’s a bit like when your child made their first cake and it’s inedible but you eat it and say well done. They bring the bill before you ask for it, serve stale wine but don’t realise it, the food in the restaurant is functional at best. I think the staff would do anything to help but all in response and not because they thought of it first. I had coffee in my room replaced but not the creamer, I said I don’t need daily housekeeping but it happened anyway, last visit I said I did need it and it didn’t happen. It’s just a bit backwater sleepy uninspiring but completely inoffensive and sometimes a tiny bit irritating. Will obvs be back but this is my honest review. Meh. There is one lady behind the bar who is the exception, Nicole. She knows her stuff and is fantastic in every respect.
