The wall had a hole in it. I am assuming from the door possibly slamming into it.
The bed wasn't super comfortable.
I did like that the bedroom and living area were separated from each other. You can stay up and watch TV and not disturb someone who wants to sleep in or go to bed early.
Both the living room and bedroom had its own TV. It also had two separate air conditioning units.
The handle on the toilet needed to be held down for it to completely flush. It's not a big deal, just something I noticed. The carpets are old, but I walked around in slippers or flip-flops.
There is an Olive Garden around the corner. The gas stations are around the corner but on the other side of the highway.
I'm happy that it came with free Breakfast.
It was basic stuff, but perfect for our overnight stay - Bagels, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. They had small waffles and two types of cereal (cheerios and special K). Apples and oranges. Your choice of coffee, tea, milk, water, orange, apple, or cranberry juice.
I had breakfast at 7:30AM. It was pretty much empty. When I went back down around 830 and again at 915 (kids wake up different times), it was crowded and louder in the area. I preferred the opening time. The kids brought the food back to the room to eat.
Overall, it wasn't bad for a one night stay. It definitely can use updating and patch work. If I was staying longer than a night or two, I may look elsewhere.

The staff is helpful and trying to do their best but it seems this is the instructions they have from management. Breakfast is served however, the eggs r cold, the roster doesn’t work properly and so much more. This entire hotel needs a serious revamp!!!
Location is great, there is a bus to Manhattan that is very frequent and it’s a 15 minutes drive.
Everything is a witness to years of service. Even though there are two lifts only one appeared to be in operation, that made a lot of waiting especially at checkout time when you couldn't fit into the elevator because of suitcases and people.
The hotel is about fifty metres from two major expressways that make the rooms on the eastern side noisy. Also the A/C units are quite loud so sleeping can be a challenge with the truck, motorbike, loud exhausts and the air conditioner going. You need the air condioner because the rooms get hot.
Another weird thing is that there are a row of spotlights installed to the lawn outside. These are directed at the side of the building and without the curtains fully drawn, light up the room at night. It's very odd to do that to your guests. I clamped the curtains together with coathangers with pant clamps.
There is a complimentory breakfast that is quite good. There are also washers and dryers available on the second floor.
The truly great thing about this hotel is there is a 320 NJ Transit bus stop directly outside the hotel with a bus that in 20mins has you in New York City. That is a huge plus.
If you can afford something better do so because there are lots of hotels in the vicinity.
The staff at this hotel keep its head above water but without some substantial maintence the hotel is slowly going under.

There was only one elevator working and took forever to get to the floors or to the first floor. There wasn’t a sign on the elevator that said that the other one was out of order. This double Queen room was not worth the almost $200 a night with its lack of upkeep.
Location is great! Connecting bus (route 320) from New York is just at the entrance, only 30s walk!
Free parking
The breakfast is good, so many varieties
Yes they have a pool, and there’s a piano you can play
Con:
Heat is on forever I guess it is not working properly but we were ok with it
Room itself is large but shabby
The sink is clot
The shower: Had to keep water running for a few minutes to get hot water
Overall worth the price and value is great. For location and things included
I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms could use a make over
The front desk attendant “joe” just said “yeh we tell people not to smoke but we cant stop them” and said “yeh we dont have any smoke free rooms but i’ll make a note of it for tomorrow”- it is supposed to be an entirely smoke free hotel.
The “suite” rooms have a queen bed and a terrible pull out sofabed that has plastic sheeting on it and springs sticking out.
I’d give this place negative stars if i could.
In fact I feel sorry for the guy Joe who has to work here and answer to customers because of the terrible management of this place.
We will be sleeping with the lights on - with the general lack of upkeep scared a roach might crawl onto my kids .
Can’t wait to get the hell out of this awfully managed property in the morning.
Spacious room, with iron, ironing board, dresser, hangers, and large living room with sofa, microwave and refrigerator. Spacious, clean bathroom, amenities, hairdryer, clean bathtub, clean curtain.
Hotel with several floors (9), elevators per floor (2), indoor pool, various environments, beautiful. Attentive staff, early check in allowed ($40), space to store luggage.
Wonderful breakfast, with juices, fruits, milk, waffles (couldn't miss it), jams, creams, eggs, American sausage, baked potatoes and much more.
I would definitely go back to this hotel.

The parking situation is not as bad as described, they have extra parking in the building next to the hotel, it was never full. We forgot to take toothpaste and the receptionist could give that too.
However, she wasn’t happy when I asked for extra towels one hour (!) before pool closing as “it will close soon, so she can’t give it”. But if you ask again, you can get it…
The room is big, there is a first room with the couch when you go in, then bathroom from the hallway and then the bedroom.
The wc in the bedroom refilled the tank in every 10 minutes. It would be really irritating at night if you want to sleep, but this was not our biggest problem.. Under the king rooms (probably not all are affected) there is something ( a generator?) which is so loud and the windows have no soundproofing that it is not possible to sleep even on the terrible couch in the other room (so it’s not worth to try, it’s still too loud but the couch is a disaster too). It turned off after 4:30am. The curtains are ok but don’t make dark, so when it’s not too loud then it’s not dark anymore (in summer at least)
We complained in the morning and tried to switch rooms (the older kids in the other room heard it too but could sleep so it is probably only bad in some rooms. And as I have a toddler, I am tired enough to sleep easily- so this was bad, really 😃).
This time the receptionist wasn’t too helpful, as the hotel was full she couldn’t help she said, she did not care much about the problem.
We got ear plugs for the second night that made it somewhat easier to deal with the noise. It’s a must if you really have to stay here in a king room (the other rooms are on the other side of the hotel she said)
