We stayed here with my family w/ 2 kids while touring NYC for 3 nights. We had booked 2 queen bed room. Let me give my points of Pro's and Con's of this place and will let the travelers decide whether this place is the right one to suit their needs/desires. Pros: 1. Parking is free and included in the room rent. There is also a parking garage which is safe and right next to the door. 2. Hot Breakfast available for a reasonable surcharge (not free),but it is the same breakfast menu everyday. 3. The room size is quite sufficient & spacious for a NYC/NJ metro hotel. 4. The hotel is < 15-20mins drive from Times square (thru Lincoln Tunnel), (of course there route has toll). For St.George's Ferry terminal it is about 40-50mins drive. 5. There is a nearby bus-stop to NYC but given the fact that the bus-stop was close to freeway we didn't feel like trying it with kids. We did notice few other guests (not w/ kids though) walking to bus stop. Cons: 1. The room carpet is old and seemed very old/dirty. Room had very fluffy pillows and queen bed were not comfortable. 2. The bathroom was rustic, no exhaust fan/vent. The shower was a disaster as we couldn't get hot water as we liked (instead only mostly warm water all-time) or even direct it to the angle we liked. 3. Our room was right by the ice-vending machine & elevator which was very noisy. If that was not enough we could even hear the freeway noise and people chatting in the nearby hotel smoking area. 4. Though there are enough positives with the location, I have to be honest, for a first time visitor, you could easily miss the entrance to the hotel and end up back in to NJ Turnpike. Also, if you miss the exit you will have to be prepared to do a round about drive of atleast 10-15mins before you could get back to the hotel. The location gets the job done (or more suited) if you plan on driving your car to NYC, if not you will have to pay parking in Secaucus metro station and catch NJ Transit. Staff: If not for the staff in the breakfast area, I would have rated this hotel far lesser. They made an honest attempt to make our stay comfortable in-spite of the odds in this property. The front desk people were ok and helped us to their best with the information we needed. We chose this stay as we made our trip plans in the last minute, that too during a christmas holiday weekend, knowing what to expect from this place. Its not that we haven't stayed in budget hotels before but this stay was a hit/miss at times. So set your expectations before you consider this location.

However the coupe was we discovered there is a bus you can pick up right nearby and the first stop is port authority. $7RT. First stop on the ride back is the hotel.
Speeds through the Lincoln tunnel passing all the traffic and its about 10 minutes.
We will be staying there again.

This has been one of my frequent go-to places to stay as it's relatively near where I work in Weehawken and is a good jumping off point to get someplace the next day rather than driving home. In addition, the presence of some rooms with whirlpool tubs provide some therapy for my back and other achy muscles.
I continue to be a Hilton Honors Diamond member, so my loyalty to the brand adds to this being a good hotel choice in the area. I always find the room convenient, well cleaned, and comfortable for a good night sleep after very late night (midnight) arrival.
Advise in choosing room facing south, away from Route 3, as the traffic noise is constant, notwithstanding the trucks shifting down to brake, and people drag racing in the area. The back of the property is not developed (yet) and thus relatively quieter.

This property is a mess. The entrance is confusing (and if you miss it, it’s another 10 or so miles to get back). More important, the room we had was disgusting. The carpet is literally sticky and moist. The shower tub appeared to have blood on the tub and hair all over the shower wall. On top of that, the cleaning person walked in our room in the morning without even knocking. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any property and we travel a lot.

Read the other reviews and was nervous staying there but I have to give them 5 stars yes the place is sorta hard to find but if you pay attention you won’t miss it, the front desk staff was awesome, Edgar was very helpful with our check in and Jennifer was awesome, great customer service!! The rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is affordable and good selection, Prapa the server for the morning was the sweetest and kindest she should be the employee of the year! We got to use the pool which was nice and loved that I was able to do a load of laundry which they have change available if needed. I’m glad that I didn’t let the reviews of others discourage us from staying there! I always say don’t believe everything you read because this location was the best and very close to heading over to New York. The staff is so awesome, Thank you for everything

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I like to stay at different hotels across the portfolio. This HGI I have been to countless times as it is relatively close to where I work in Weehawken. Being that I had to be onsite two consecutive days and had little time to drive home and back I decided to stay here once more.
Digital check-in allowed me to show up before regular check-in time and store my luggage in my room before going to work in the evening. I also stopped at the front desk to get my water and a spare key just in case digital failed me (it didn't).
Rooms are good sized for this area and offered plenty of space for belongings. Bathroom has ample counter space as well.
No noise issues in chosen room facing away from Route 3. However there used to be a view across the meadows but now there is an industrial building in the adjoining property behind the hotel.
No problems with WiFi or TV.
Opted for extra points rather than breakfast discount since not a breakfast person so can't rate that. Parking is in a garage, but the spots are small and tight, so maneuvering is required to get out.
Hotel comes well recommended in this area.

This hotel is a 20 minute drive from NYC near the interstate. Our room was right next to the highway so it was very loud in our room. I sent a message through the app to the staff there to inquire about whether they had earplugs and was ignored. The shower temperature would randomly jump from hot to cold to lukewarm indicating a likely plumbing issue. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Stay was good. Only thing is the hot tub should be open and ready to go at 9am. It's frustrating when they are still adding water and chemicals bc most people want to use it in am before heading to city. Also there was never any towels at the pool. Otherwise when it was ready the pool and hottub were quite enjoyable and the beds very comfortable. The front staff were very nice. It’s a great location- very close to the park and ride- only takes 10-15 mins to get in to the city. A good alternate hotel to stay at instead of paying double or more to stay in Manhattan.

Very nice last minute stay. We were welcomed immediately and even able to check in early- VERY early which was amazing because we had just gotten off of the red eye flight and we’re exhausted! So being able to have access to the bed early morning. Front desk was so accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend

The location was convenient but the hotel itself is outdated and worn out. The bed was comfortable and the room was a generous size. However, the carpet was gross and sticky. Luckily, I had slippers. The room smelled very strongly of air freshener. Also, the water mixer in the shower was temperamental and the shower was either too hot or too cold. I'm not sure if I will return to this hotel again. I think I may try another next visit to see family.
