I have lived at the Jersey Shore for over 40 years, there’s a reason why us locals call it ‘Sleazide’, I was visiting my family that live in nice places in ocean county since I had to move away a couple years ago for work. Filthy dump, stay away. Filthy, drug addict neighbors up crying and yelling all times of the night, no housekeeping, filthy bed sheets, pillowcases, sheets, blankets stained. Everything is riddled with mold, ceilings have moldy pieces falling through. Good luck if your toilet flushes. Food rotting. People’s old laundry and snotty tissues left behind. Windows don’t open or close. Good luck if you can find a remote for your 1988 tv. Worst part of town. If you want entertainment, you can watch people be arrested for acting a fool at all hours, or just watch the drug addicts act a fool coming into the motel. I know these run down motels charge an arm and a leg over the summer. Funny how most of the doors looked like they’ve been broken in. All locals know what they are in the off months.

This was the worst facility I have stayed in. Upon arrival, the bed sheets were covered in sand. They took the sheets to re-wash but left the comforter. Next, there was less than half a roll of toilet paper, no hand soap, and everything in the bathroom was filthy. Next, our smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag In the walkway, the fire extinguisher was lying on the floor, as if it was ripped off the wall and left there. The “desk” was about the break in half. The fridge was covered in rust and had a horrific smell. There was mold in the bottom corner of our room (room 29). Any sense of privacy with the curtains was lost due to items being hung completely off (45 degree angle). Headboards weren’t attached the beds (one was next to the bed not on the head of it). Lastly, there was piles of dirt And garbage that were swept everywhere including under the beds and behind the old TV stand. I called the code enforcement on this establishment due to its poor conditions. We spoke to another party staying at this establishment and they ran into issues similar to ours as well as showers not draining and over flowing toilets. We spoke to the staff on hand. After requesting to speak to the owner, she refused. They have a sign that says no refunds. I showed her what booking.com says she offers, and pointed out everything they do not. She tried to offer me another room, but finally agreed to a refund. Please don’t stay here. Code enforcement and fire marshall have been called.

When we arrived, a worker who had ZERO knowledge of the business checked us in. I received no receipt.. or change. My room on booking.com was $228 I gave the woman $240. We left to the beach and we’re assured a room would be ready upon our return. We returned at 3pm (an hour after check in time) and still no room was ready. They eventually put us in a room that resembled a scene from the movie “Hostile”. This is no exaggeration! The AC unit was hanging out of the wall with a 6in gap to the outdoors... and better yet wouldn’t plug in because it was too far from an outlet! The beds had NO linen at all. There were nails and screws left all over the burned and piss ridden beds! Both toilets in the room were clogged with leaks in the bathroom ceilings. Used toilet papers left behind from past vacationers. The staff were ALL high on drugs, swearing and smoking marijuana right out front of the office. The OWNER is in the wrong 100%! When he came we asked him for a refund, a new room.. something to accommodate the issues. His offer was half our money back to LEAVE or $50 back if we chose to stay! But still not willing to provide linen or a cleaner safer room. Our trip ended in an huge argument with the VERY unprofessional owner and his wife! Even the workers who he legitimately hired that morning off the side of road... QUIT ON HIM! Other stayers were calling code enforcement on the owner as he wasn’t willing to make any changes. Once we finally agreed to take the $115 back and LEAVE, we were then forced to sit and wait in the parking lot where the workers had started to park other stayers behind parked cars. We were forced to wait for someone to return from the beach to move there vehicle so we could get out. I have called code on the owner myself. I do NOT recommend this Inn to ANYBODY! It’s not safe, especially during this pandemic!

This place is worth 50/night honestly. Cracks in the walls ,,chipping furniture ,,dings in the bathroom doorknob the box spring of the mattress had tears on the outside and cardboard on it.. The outside is dilapidated.. Rust on all the air conditioners. ..the shower is tiled but with a plastic base (which made me think of an RV shower...well actually ANY RV would be nicer than this one double bed room oh and there's pictures to go along with this review so hold on to your hats ...I am able to go to the bathroom and wash my hands at the same time (small bathroom) I'd rather swim in this tap water then in there "pool" .....big old CRT television with only a handful of channels...hair on both pillows ...my car has more security features then this room THE ONLY GOOD THIS IS THAT THE STAFF ARE NICE AND ITS 2 ½ BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH AND THE POLICE STATION IS ON THE SAME ROAD BY THE SEVEN ELEVEN Let's see here oh yes and electrical outlets 9 feet up the wall. (I'm short so that does not help)
