My room is clean and I like the concept of the bathroom where they divide the shower stall, sink and toilet separately so 3 people can use the facility simultaneously. I lived on the 5th floor and it’s water pressure is good, wifi works well too. The room does not come with a kettle and there is no pen or paper or paper cup provided so you need to bring your own. Hot water and coffee are available in the lobby though. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Journal Square Path station by car and 50 minutes by transit, there aren’t many dining options available except the on site restaurant but that doesn’t matter to me. There are a couple things the hotel can improve on, for example, they need to have both elevators to operate at the same time to minimize customers wait time, and they need to fix the elevator flaw where it doesn’t stop on the 5th floor!!

The hotel was really nice. You can tell it’s new. It’s very modern. We loved it honestly. I loved the sliding door that separated the actual room from the bathroom/sink/shower. I will say the view from our room was nothing to write home about but overall it’s in a good area. The front desk employees were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good for the price ($10 per person). I will say there were things that weren’t working correctly. There was a lamp that wouldn’t turn on. The sink handle for the hot water was weird and we had to turn it like crazy to even get the water to come out. Either way those are small things that didn’t necessarily ruin the experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Both lobbyists tried to haggle me and my group over how many rooms they could give us while backtracking over previous offers. I have NEVER had such an awful experience with hotel service in all my years traveling. Avoid here as much as possible.

Rooms spacious but lacking any amenities; no coffee, extra towels, paper or writing utensils (oddly enough), carpets horribly stained. The entire building was overly warm, and our room was at 85 degrees when we walked in and took several hours to cool to a reasonable temperature. Terrible $15 breakfast (cold eggs, old sausage and waffles, cold bacon, no refills on any food), milk was off in a tacky barroom. Couldn't take any food to the hotel room. Check-out times not displayed correctly at the counter up front, wanted $75 to stay until noon and $175 to stay until 3p instead of 11a (our flight didnt leave intil 9p). Staff was generally unhelpful, except for those at the front desk, who were wonderful.

Faulty key cards, lack of cleanliness, $15 overcooked breakfast, no amenities-like shuttle service or even fresh coffee, no microwave, small refrigerator full of over priced beer and soda and having to pay for everything including water. Will not stay again or recommend to friends.

Honestly the people working here are no help and they get tired and annoyed when you ask to many questions. Rooms are dirty I had mud or something on the floors in my room and I’m not sure when they clean the beds. If you need a place to crash then that what i would only recommend for this place.

First of all, if you're here for a day or even a few days as an extremely inexpensive hotel to visit NYC (least expensive 3 star hotel in the area) this place has everything you need. 7 days a week there is a shuttle that takes you to and from Times Square Manhattan for $10 per person. You can load up on eggs, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, some croissants, unlimited coffee (a must), for only $15 per person for brunch in the morning up until 10 am. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the front desk is very, very nice. I've been here, off and on a lot as I do business in New York City and every time I have a need, I go straight to the front desk and they take care of me. The managers are very friendly and the elevators are fast on this 5 floor building. One bonus of this hidden gem in the internet speed. I work with photographers and high resolution images for photo editing come my way every day. The internet speeds here are lighting fast: 100 megabits per second for download and around the same for upload. I've stayed at hotels before where I have to use my 5G hotspot because their internet is so slow. Not the case here. It's just a great experience if this is what you're looking for. The only downside to this hotel is the restaurant and it's not the hotel's fault. I believe the way hotels work is that the restaurant leases space from the hotel and is owned by someone private. The breakfast in the morning is mediocre at best. It's very difficult to communicate with the two ladies because they don't speak a lick of English, Spanish only. So if you need something, turn on Google Translate or hopefully you're bilingual. Dinner service, when they have a chef, is usually very good. There are hiccups and in the past month, they've gone through two chefs.

First thing, website says Restaurant, there is no restaurant, there is a small poorly done breakfast buffet in warmed servers. The room did not lack for space and was very clean. A bit odd to enter through your bathroom however. As you enter there is a W/C off to immediate right and after sink a spacious shower with a large rainfall head as well as hand shower head. Then another barn type sliding door to bedroom and patio (patio door locked out however) , definitely unique. Breakfast, as mentioned, was a buffet, few offerings for what appeared to be higher end hotel on outside, no lunch, just breakfast. Let's just say it does not compare favorable to a H.I.E as regards breakfast. I was brought here friom airport by shuttle from sister hotel, was told after arriving that shuuttles would stop today at noon, so even though my new flight is 1730, I am going to have to be on shuttle at 12. Covid was taken pretty casually by stafff here, no masks seen on any of them since I have been here.
