The first clue was the smell as you walk into the lobby. Then, the bullet proof glass around the desk area. Rug was filthy although linens were clean. We bailed the next morning of a 2 day stay. NEVER AGAIN.
Hotel has clean rooms, decent breakfast, modern looking bathrooms with all amenities, and has nice staff. The one negative is the sketchy neighborhood and building but once you go inside it’s a good hotel
Close to Seton Hall. Plenty of parking. Good hot breakfast. All the hotels we've stayed at in the Oranges have been musty smelling - don't know why. Easy to get to. Good location. Closest hotel to Seton Hall. Better than the Turtle Brook for $30...More

To be truthful, I would say this area is not the safest area to stay but, when I was there, I did not personally experience any crimes. However, I would not recommend walking around the neighborhood at night.
