We stayed in one of the queen rooms and we loved it. The room was incredibly clean, the owners were friendly and very accommodating. Everything was wonderful. We will be returning for a one night respite next month.
We had to attend a funeral in a nearby town and decided to book a room at The Lily Inn. A wonderful place full of charm and personality. Everything is updated while keeping the history and architecture of the house. Comfortable with everything you need Great rooms, the quality of the bed, the sheets or towels, insanely clean, everything outstanding, airy and fresh in an atmosphere of old and beautiful. We had The Lydia Richie Room, there is a bathtub /jacuzzi. Not very easy to take a shower. If you like a jacuzzi then this room is for you. Other than that a spacious, beautiful room with a king bed that 4 people could sleep on it (just kidding) The breakfast was very good, served at a dinning table on the first floor, classic. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
I absolutely loved staying staying at the Lily Inn. Even in January it was completely worth the stay and a gorgeous place to spend the night. The owner, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful and took the time to talk to me and answer any questions I had about the history/design of this 300 year old home and never seemed bothered or inconvenienced by our stay. We missed the special breakfast, but even then there was still fresh cinnamon buns made and left on the counter for when we came down. 10/10 would recommend and in fact are trying to book another stay in two weeks when we can come with another couple.
My wife and I came up for one night on Veteran's day and we were so glad we did. The purpose of the trip was to have a place to stay once we were all done seeing Clue the play over in Bristol, just across the river. From the start we were greeted with warm hospitality, which carried on throughout our one-night stay. Alejandra and her husband TJ are such great hosts (weekends only for now) and made us feel right at home, sharing their local knowledge of Burlington and accommodating our every need. We stayed in the Garden Room, which had a comfy bed and a very nice view of the grounds behind the inn. I am a very picky sleeper, but somehow I managed to sleep like a baby. Other perks; very walkable, 10% discount at many of the local establishments, and charm, charm, charm. Check it out!…
This B & B is a step above all others. The history, charm and cleanliness are all 5 stars. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Don’t miss it. This B&Bs over 100 years old but the bathrooms are very up-to-date. They have beautiful grounds in the back of the house.
The Lily Inn is a wonderful place to stay! It’s beautiful and luxurious with spacious rooms, pretty decor, shady gardens, and a delicious breakfast. We’ve stayed twice while visiting family and the Inn accommodations are perfectly located to get to any place in NJ and PA. Burlington is a cute town with coffee shops, crafts, antiques and restaurants. The owners and staff are attentive and not intrusive. The rooms are quiet and so comfortable.
We returned to the Lily Inn again for a family wedding and it was perfect. Richard, the new manager,is very friendly and helpful. We love this Pugh suite and will definitely be back ♥️! This place is so charming and warm
My son was married at a nearby venue recently and we made the wise decision to stay at The Lily Inn. It was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were just so kind and accommodating. I was able to see all rooms, since they were occupied by members of our party. Every one was beautiful, and I would stay in any of them! Both floors have a separate sitting room where guests can sit and enjoy solitude (or each other), instead of being in the bedrooms. This was a nice touch - especially if you are an early riser. The breakfasts were delicious, and Richard was happy to make something different for someone in our party who has a gluten sensitivity. The Inn is so charming, and the area really has a lot to offer. We will definitely be back! This was the icing on the cake for a spectacular wedding weekend!!…
We had a 10 day stay recently as a base to visit family..and it was like staying with family...Such warm lovely welcoming folks...nothing was to much trouble..great rooms..yummy breakfasts...nice garden..and a sweet little dog named Lucy..we were sad to leave.Quiet Street with shops and places of interest and a short walk takes you to the Delaware river ..Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! The host was warm, friendly, and was especially flexible and accommodating, both when we ran into a small arrival problem and throughout our stay. The inn is very clean, yet maintains the "rustic" feel of a 1709 house. Full of character. Great breakfast and also plenty of snacks and drinks throughout the stay. Also, our host knew so much about the historic region that it brought our visit to life as we walked through the town. We would definitely stay again when we are back in the area and could not recommend it highly enough.
