Our stay at the PLAZA on Fremont St. Monday July 19 – Friday July 23. Room #1444 Confirmation #PLV158513587 The Plaza is our favorite hotel on Fremont St. We have stayed there many times in the last 6-years. Every time, we also include a dinner at Oscar’s. This time however, we were very unhappy with the quality of service at the hotel. We do understand limitations due to COVID, but the Plaza needs to do a better job, or substantially lower your rates. A month before our arrival we made our hotel reservations. As always, we requested a king bed, in the quiet tower, with a view of the Strip. You have MANY rooms on MANY floors that could easily accommodate this request – as you always did in the past. This time we check-in about 3pm and was told we had to take a room with 2 queen beds, close to Fremont St. with no view because it was “first come first serve.” Why did I bother to make an advanced reservation? We got a room that we did not like mainly because of the noise at night from Fremont St. The room had an adjoining door which we did not request. I am sure other people (with family & friends) would have loved to have an adjoining room door. We travel a lot, and other hotels can accommodate easy requests when there is advanced booking. Why can’t you? Our room was very hot, humid and musty smelling. The air conditioner was working but the bathroom fan was not. Towels would not dry overnight and that make the room hotter & more humid. They did come and replace the bathroom fan and that did help. Then we found out that you have to REQUEST Room Cleaning Service. That has never happened at the Plaza or at any other hotel we have stayed at. But if that is your policy, there should have been a card in the room. When we found that out on Tuesday, we called housekeeping and asks for new DRY towels and scheduled a cleaning for Wednesday. No one cleaned the room on Wednesday and when I checked Housekeeping, they had no record of our request. So I requested a cleaning for Thursday which finally did take place. But for the first 3-days we had damp towels and sheets. Getting the room you requested and getting it cleaned is important. And when not done it takes away from the pleasure of a vacation. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the Plaza this time. We spent so much time feeling aggravated – not why you go on vacation. There is a new hotel, The Circa, across the street, maybe next time we will give it a try. Anne W Peoria, AZ

Great new room on the 16th floor, Awesome BINGO STAFF, front desk people are rude. Mexican Restaurant has Delious food and friendly staff. Forget about Mcdonalds only 2 people on staff and always long long lines.

The rooms are a little outdated. Considering how tight their casino is. You would think they could do some remodeling. Water pressure wasn't good and parking made me wonder if my car would be there when I checked out. Close to Fremont Street which made it noisy and hard to sleep. Very dirty outside of the rooms. If you stay there don't gamble there because no one was winning while I was there.

My husband and I recently (July ‘21) Sunday to Wednesday. We were in a king room in the south tower on the 14th floor, which had a great view of pool, mural and the beginning of Fremont Experience. The room itself was large, but was not one of the remodeled rooms. I have seen those and will pay for the upgrade next time. My only negative about our stay is that the music from Fremont is VERY loud in the room, but cheap earplugs from Walgreens solved that. The casino is large and spread out, with higher ceilings so it never felt overly crowded, unlike many of the casino’s on Fremont. The pool itself is not very large, but there is a shallow shelf area on one side with chairs and a bench around the other 3 sides and there are large shaded areas. The proximity to Fremont , without being in the middle of it, was fantastic. There is an easy Uber/Lyft pick up and drop off area just out side of the hotel and not in a parking garage. All of the stafff we encountered were very helpful and nice.
