Detailed Reviews
I really enjoyed this property. I love the fact that is is nonsmoking and that it is not far off the strip. The walk to the strip was about 15-20 mins away.
The room that I was in was very comfortable. It was quiet. I am not sure if all of the rooms are suites, but the room that I was in had a small kitchen, dining table, office area, and a sofa. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I had a okay sleep. The biggest negative for me was the heating/ventilation system. I could hear it with my ear plugs in. I got up during the night and turned off the system.
The bathtub and toilet were in one room and the sink was outside. I personally really liked the toiletries (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) Loved the scent.
There was a manager's reception the night I arrived with complimentary beer, wine, and nachos. There might had been another food item. I think that this happens weekday evenings. I needed something more than nachos, so I walked to a nearby eatery. There are a few restaurants within walking distance to choose from.
The breakfast was quite good. The hot items included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potato patty hashbrowns. You could make your own waffles. There was a assortment of cold cereals, yogurt, and fruit. There were other choices. I just can't remember exactly what they were.
I would definitely stay at this property again, if the opportunity presented itself

I was skeptical about the accessibility of the Strip when I initially booked this. However, this is actually pretty much walkable from the Strip. The Strip is just about a mile from this place. Stratosphere is also not too far and should be withing the walking distance.
If you are planning to go to Shark Reef and Venetian from here, I would suggest to do am Uber, as that may cost lesser than the parking fees at each of these places. Note that Venetian and Shark Reef are not withing walking distance of this place.
Breakfast options were good (standard Marriott Residence inn stuff : bread, yogurt, omelettes, breakfast potatoes/salad etc.).
Only slightly unpleasant experience was the cleanliness of the room. While our room was generally clean at check-in, the only thing was that there was pet hair on the sofa and carpet in the drawing room, and the microwave was not properly cleaned on the inside. We informed the house keeping on the next day and she was prompt to clean it properly.
There is a parking fees for this hotel, so be aware of this when you book.

I would say this is a higher level Residence Inn hotel, rooms are well equiped and breakfast was standard Residence Inn. The location is very close to the Hughes Center where we had some meetings, so this was quite convenient. Close to the hotel there are some nice restaurants you can walk by.

This is a warning to all travelers. Choose a different spot if you can. Not sure what’s going on here but they are dealing with some kind of mold/mildew issue and you will smell it the second you walk in.
When we arrived yesterday the lobby reeked. It smells like moldy/mildewed clothes left in a washing machine for a week. We were pressed for time because we had to immediately get to an event so we checked in and dropped our luggage in our 2nd floor room which smelled slightly better than the lobby.
*side note- the bathroom connected to our bedroom was not well cleaned- there were hairs around and a random towel in the tub*
After returning to the room late the smell hadn’t improved even with the windows open but we have to be up and out early in the morning so I’ll try to see what we can do to move rooms later this morning. This is truly awful.

Dear The_Real_Flipflops2, We recognize your time is valuable and appreciate the feedback you have provided on the TripAdvisor Platform. Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is always a key priority, especially during these unprecedented times. On behalf of the entire team at the Residence Inn Las Vegas Hughes Center, I sincerely apologize for falling short of not only meeting your expectations, but ours as well. I am very sorry to hear that a sewer smell was present in the hotel during your stay. We have hired a professional plumbing company to help us to fix the issue. We have replaced and fixed several damaged water pipes in the lobby and the nearby areas. Our work is never final and will continue to focus on improvements to the property as it is never our intention to knowingly disappoint our guests. As a teachable moment, we have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel teams to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place to prevent cleanliness and an unpleasant odor issues from occurring in the future. Sincerely, Ivona Janieszewski

We stayed in the 2BR, 2 bath suite for a long weekend in June 2024. We chose this hotel for the price of the 2BR suite - it was the best in the area. This hotel is definitely dated and worn. The ground floor (lobby, breakfast area, workout area) seems to have been renovated fairly recently but the rooms need some work. There were water/dirt stains around the tub, old cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchenette, and beat up furniture in the living area. The sofa bed was horrible - there's no way an adult could get a good night's sleep there.
However, it was quiet and the blackout curtains worked fairly well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nothing special but it was quiet and relaxing. The highlight of our stay was the free breakfast - plenty of seating, lots of choices and the food was replenished often. There were several staff members helping at breakfast (the most I've ever seen at a hotel breakfast, actually) and they were quick to clean up or help people find something. This location was a bit far to walk to the strip, especially in the June heat, although we did it one night.
Overall, I would find another location until the rooms are renovated, but it has potential to be a good option for families at some point.

I stayed on the 10th floor in room 1020 August 23-25, 2024. The hotel is in the area of UNLV, (not within walking distance), several blocks from the strip and a few blocks from the Sphere. My room faced UNLV and the airport. It has a standard refrigerator, stove and sink with a small table to eat, a nice size desk, a couch, a comfortable bed and a standard bathroom with a nice shower with good lighting and space around the bathroom sink area. The room unfortunately did not have a safe in it, but the front desk does have safety deposit boxes. The breakfast consisted of your general items to include hot food like sausage patties, scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes on the day that I had breakfast, along with your cold items of cereal and bananas with a decent area to sit and eat your food. There is an outside pool and jacuzzi, a really nice exercise room to include treadmills, free weights, machine for your legs, exercise balls. One of the things this hotel does have that I really liked was in the front lobby area there is a water machine that you can refill your water bottles with cold or hot water instead of having to buy new water bottles over and over. I wish more hotels had this feature. The hotel does charge you for parking, but I took either a taxi or Lyft, so I did not have to pay for parking. There are a few restaurants right around the hotel such as a Panera Bread, Chipolte's, Burger Hub Place, Starbucks, etc. The staff were pleasant. I had no issues with my stay and would recommend this hotel.

We found everything to be above average. Given that we were traveling on the 4th of July weekend, and we KNEW we wouldn't be able to check in early, we went over to the hotel with our bags to store them, then grab lunch at the nearby Panera. We brought our meals into the dining area, and the hotel staff brought us paper plates and utensils. We WERE allowed to check in about 1:30 PM. Once we were in our suite (we had opted for the two bedroom, two bath room), everything was clean and well-cared for. Everything worked and although we didn't sample the breakfast in the morning, it looked nice.
We had dinner at one of the nearby restaurants ... and the area was great. We have no complaints, and will definitely consider this hotel again in the future.
The staff was very pleasant, as well.
The area surrounding the hotel is aesthetically pleasing. Parking was not an issue, and the rate was very reasonable given the holiday.

It’s a perfect place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the Strip or you are traveling with kids.
It’s a 12 -15 $ ride to Strip (Uber / lift)
Breakfast it’s excellent, depending on the hour a little bit crowded, but manageable)
Nice pool, easy parking…
We had a problem with our assigned room and they have no problem changing it.
The only issue is that the check-in / check-out process is not very quick.

Overall, had a very nice stay during a short Christmas mini-break, and I would stay here again. Customer Service was outstanding. Breakfast was nice, hot and plentiful. The evening mixers were a nice touch. Hotel's location wasn't too far from strip, but close enough to reach without difficulty. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was large and fully-equipped. However, the sofa bed in the 1-bedroom suite was terrible and needs a new mattress. Also, housekeeping was decent, but they did miss a few areas with the vacuum. Parking was $15 a day, but that seems to be the going rate in Las Vegas.
