I stayed at this property for one night w my kids based on its location near scenic outdoor activities, as advertised. Once at the property, I learned we needed a rental car ($80) to access the scenic recreational area about 15 minutes away. When making my reservation m, no mention of the free shuttle from the airport. That would have saved $40 Uber ride. At checkout, there was a $44 resort fee to cover a fitness center, internet and valet. Never mentioned upon checkin. The pool was closed for the winter. Resort fees should be above and beyond what’s typically delivered at a hotel. No complementary coffee anywhere including the room. Starbucks was on the property at 200% of normal pricing. You would think the casino on property would help drive some attention to the customer experience. Needless to say I won’t be coming back. J

Be very careful of the minibar charges. They say it charges if you remove it for >15 seconds but in actuality even if you don’t move it at all sometimes it charges you. They will blame it on sensor issues. We were told when we checked out that “you’re all set”. Then when I requested the bill noticed that they charged us an additional $490 minibar charges - that we never used. When we checked in we even told them that we won’t be using the minibar and was assured that room service always check for real consumption. Took Eric the manager >20 minutes to sort it out even though we told him we were in a hurry. They state upon check in that the in room service will take inventory to make sure there is actual usage to make sure the automatic billing is correct but that is not true. They will very happily charge your credit card like an atm machine unless you watch and ask for verification. In fact I suspect the system is designed to give the casino additional revenue to unsuspecting guests

Fabulous stay !! First time here . We were here for a wedding in town . We had room service for dinner and breakfast . Breakfast was spot on . Dinner was great and they added extra silverware , steak knives and A1 sauce. Steak was cooked perfect . We are also at the 8 Noodle Bar and the Lucky Penny. Very good . The gambling was not great but that’s ok. Staff was friendly and helpful

Stayed here 2 nights in a king bed canyon view room. The room was beautiful, and the bathroom was my favorite part. The deep tub was plenty big enough for 2 adults and the shower had terrific water pressure and endless hot water. The double sinks were great too. We ate in Lucille's BBQ the first night and enjoyed it so much we ate there a second night. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service both times. We had vouchers for breakfast at the Lucky Penny cafe, and both mornings we had great service and good food also. We did takeout from the bakery there once, with coffee to go plus muffins and cookies, and really enjoyed it. Like all Vegas casinos, you have to walk through the casino to get to any restaurants, and it reeked of cigarette smoke, but they all do. The housekeeping staff were also terrific, they quickly brought up bathrobes when we called the desk for them, apparently, they are only provided if you ask. Check in was very quick. There is a free parking garage attached, so we were able to park right on site Altogether this was a great place to stay away from the Strip. The views of Red Rocks, we were there to take an off road driving course there, were gorgeous.

Turned an upset customer into a returning VIP. I was just taken care by a manager named AJ, and an awesome help from VIP services desk, Melanie. These two are great and excellent staff members! I was upset, which isn’t an issue now and they totally resolved my issue very rapidly and efficiently. Everything they said would happen is actually happening. Big hotels loose the sight of smaller guest, but they totally stepped up and made us happy plus some. Thanks AJ and Melanie for turning our experience into a positive. Red Rocks owes a great thanks to these staff for stepping up. Thank you.
