Nice place! Room and bathroom were decent. Good breakfast, too. A bit far from the Strip but there's a bus stop very close. Not the best neighbourhood; not much around, just a Walgreens and a 7-Eleven. Overall a good experience.
Excellent stay in Sin City Hostel with a very nice staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast items, a good common area inside with big tv screen, guitars, books and outside with a pool, chairs, tables and sometimes a free barbecue meals party (depends on staff and season i guess) which are a great value for a good stay. Also a great atmosphere between travellers and not "party/party" hostel so not too much noise and crazy young people, just nice persons staying there (i was two times in february and march) to enjoy the Sin City. I definitively recommend that great place which is improving every time, re-paint walls, upgrade rooms or common areas. Close to Las Vegas Boulevard but need a bus or a bike to rally the Strip (easy way) but walking distance to go on Freemont Street.…
The people working at the Sin City Hostel were so unbelievably friendly!!! They welcomed us so nicely that we directly felt comfortable. We could ask like every question and always help was offered (and we asked a lot of questions). The rooms were clean and the hostel offered some cool activities. If you want to get in touch with other people, Sin City Hostel is definitely the right place to stay! We met awesome people there. Everyone is very open minded. So: If you wanna have a great and fun and cheap stay in Las Vegas, you totally should stay at Sin City Hostel!!!! P.S. We loved your Breakfast Thank you for making our stay in Las Vegas amazing. I have stayed both in Hostel Cat and Sin City Hostel (they are located next to each other). Appreciated my stay much more at Sin City Hostel – nicer and cleaner facilities, better atmosphere (in Hostel Cat it's all about partying; here you will find a company for any mood you are), A/C didn't make me to cough all the time like in Cat, great breakfast included and finally, stuff in Hostel Cat was everywhere, making noise, watching movies etc. while in Sin City is was like it should be. i had a problem of not getting my deposit back in Sin City. I wrote them an email while I was 1000 miles far away from Vegas. After a week I got my money back to a bank account. Good service :)
I did no appreciate my stay at this hostel at all. - the staff was very unfriendly (almost rude). They don't talk with their guests but only complain that they're either tired or busy. When you ask for information they'll keep their reply's to a minimum.. - the rooms are not clean and noisy. Also: no good curtains. - the bathroom would not lock, so little privacy. - if you want to use the PC it costs 1$ for 10 minutes. Worst hostel I visited in California so far. Go to the CAT hostel or to a hotel. Avoid this one!
