I have been staying at this hotel twice a month since September 2019. The rooms are very clean and have everything a business traveler needs. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate wishes for specific rooms. The location in downtown Lincoln is perfect - 15 minute walk to the football stadium, 10 minutes to the capitol or the haymarket area of town.

I had the misfortune of getting ill while staying at the hotel—which had nothing to do with the hotel. Due to being restricted to my room I relied on the amazing support of the hotel staff to keep me fed and to bring deliveries to my room.
I especially want to thank John W. For all his amazing support. He didn’t hesitate to provide assistance multiple times during my stay.

Gorgeous lobby, good bar and restaurant, mostly friendly staff-except for one front desk gal who was a snoot. I was so excited for my room based on the lobby vibe. But then I trekked to my room twice with luggage in tow, and the key didn’t work either time. Visited with another guest in the hallway, and he told me he had that room the day before and the key didn’t work so he had to get a new room….so my third trip back down to the lobby with all my luggage I requested a new room. I was put on fourth floor got into the room and the fan/heating cooling unit sounded like a freight train coming through. I was also not impressed with the numerous stains on the carpet but by this time I didn’t want to make a fourth trip to the front desk, so I just accepted my fate. A couple hours later I decided that the freight train sound coming from the heating unit was too loud for me to sleep. I requested that it be fixed and went to dinner. When I came back, the fan wouldn’t go on and no heat, I called the front desk and they were sold out, so no rooms to move me to. My room had two beds, but the beds are full size not queen, so guests also be aware of this. Bed is also firmer than I prefer and pillows were heavy. Bathroom is also tiny. For a room that was charging $220 for my first nite, I was not impressed. I did get a slight discount due to the freight train noise/lack of heat, but if returning to Lincoln, I won’t stay at this Marriott property…too pricey for a below average experience.

We were roqd tripping back home and booked a last minute deal for $88 with tax when not al price was $180 with tax. You have to pay for parking which I was expecting in Lincoln when we are from Chicago. Then our room had the worst A/C. It was cool air but 100% humidity and made no difference how low we set temp - the bed felt wet. It had been hot and humid in NE, but we stayed at a LaQuinta in Iowa on the way out where it had also been hot and that room was comfortable. So not sure why LaQuinta can maintain temps and Marriott can’t and when we mentioned it to front desk on way out they really didn’t care. I rather stay at a 2 star hotel that has a/c that can keep up, free parking and free breakfast.

We stayed at the Cornhusker for our neices wedding, the accomidations were amazing, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The wedding reception was here also, we were able to have family pictures taken on the Grand Staircase. Its not a far walk from the Railyard, Hay Market area. I would suggest the Corhhusker to anyone looking for a comfortable friendly place to stay

I stayed at Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in Downtown Lincoln for 3 nights in October. I was there for a convention. Easy check in – Tip…Park in the parking garage and get a ticket…then use the elevator to access the hotel. You can then buy cheaper garage parking at the front desk. They give you a new ticket and you can throw the original one away.
I was in room 837 – Nice and good size…not much of a view. Everything was clean and worked. Note: One of the pillows was a thin one! a rarity these days...I usually have to sleep on a folded towel.
They have a restaurant for breakfast and lunch along with the Miller Time bar for dinner or drinks. I had breakfast in the restaurant one day and it is what you would expect…it was not very crowded. I had dinner one night…bar food at the Miller Time…again what you would expect from a hotel bar.
The conference area and rooms were good, although some of the smaller ones felt claustrophobic. The meals related to the conference were standard fair but no complaints. Would consider staying again if I needed to be downtown.

My stay was great. I’d especially like to call out the great valet service! I was staying with my baby grandson so had my hands full with a stroller and all the things it takes to travel with a baby. The valets were especially helpful with getting everything unloaded and then loaded back in the car. Great service!

Michael D at the front desk was GREAT!!! We were having a bad day and had booked at the CornHusker last minute (10 minutes before walking in the door) My father-in-law had booked us into a terribly bad motel in the worst part of town, you $10 hookers..type of place. So needless to say I immediately ran for the best place in town because I needed therapy! We walked in to the CornHusker tired after an 8 hour road trip and in need of some pampering. Michael IMMEDIATELY checked us in quickly and efficiently. I had booked the room so quickly that the computers hadn’t even caught up! But Michael had us checked in and in our down comforter, Egyptian cotton sheets, pillow top mattress and spa bath product room in less than 10 minutes! The whole staff went out of their way to make our visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They have a wonderful bar with multiple craft beer choices and our bartender was making all sorts of drinks for others that looked absolutely delicious! And the food was very good as well! Michael and the rest of the staff made the stay worthwhile.

From check in, porters' assistance, housekeeping, bar and grill on site, event staff,,,,everyone was helpful, gracious, and downright friendly. Only one hiccup, the Starbucks on premise is not a full Starbucks. Wanted a flavored mocha and didn't happen BUT for being there 3 days, that was it. Rooms are nice, beds amazingly comfortable after long days of setting up an event. Truly a pleasant surprise!

We have stayed at this property almost once a month autocrossing. Our last eight day stay was perfect. Seems to get better with each visit! Krishna at the front desk is the best to start off a great stay. Ashley in the cafe always makes breakfast enjoyable and remembers our special requests. Danish in the concierge lounge is fantastic, and he has a bright future in hospitality as a Marriott intern. Quiet, excellent housekeeping, and we will be back!!!

Yes, we offer a complimentary shuttle to the Lincoln airport, which runs every half hour from the hotel. You can call us at 402-474-7474 to book a time for our shuttle to pick you up or bring you there.
