Stayed one night on a visit to Yellowstone Nattional Park Dont see any reason not to stay at this ok.... I mean it is not Ritz Carlton...but served its purpose for a vist to Yellowstone. Overall a good experience
If you know a year in advance the dates you will be in Yellowstone, there are a plethora of lodging options at a similar price (or lower) than this Super 8. A month out, and needing a flexible cancellation policy, as we are traveling with my elderly parents, Super 8 was our only option within 50 miles of the park. The rooms are very small. My husband's shoulders literally would not fit in the cubicle that contained the sink. The bathroom had just enough space for the tub and toilet and not an inch more. The lighting was poor. The walls were so thin that we had to turn on the TV to drown out the conversations in the rooms next door. The curtains hung crookedly over a small, dirty window. Other than a relatively new "locker", the room had not been updated in decades. Carpet was thin and stretched out with stains. This two story motel has no elevator and unfortunately we were on the second floor. It was not possible for my parents to get their suitcases up the stairs; we were glad to help them. Bagged breakfast was adequate, but other motels we stayed at are offering hot breakfast. Bottom line, if I owned this property and was comfortable charging nearly $300 per night, I would be embarrassed to leave it in it's current condition.…
The room was the smallest I have seen. Walls were paper thin. There wasn’t even a shower curtain. Asked for one and had to put it up ourselves. No toilet lid. Bathroom so small it’s suffocating. Room was extremely dusty. Floor was sticky
The room was clean and comfortable and after a long day of travelling my head hit the pillow and I was out!. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. The lobby waiting area has big comfy chairs with beautifully done taxidermy, and a great Western feel. Really gets you in the mood for seeing Yellowstone! They provided a bagged take-away breakfast with water, muffins, fruit and a granola bar. Good coffee! A sugar-free option for a diabetic would be welcome.
About seven miles west of town in a pastoral area this property is pretty laid back and scenic. You can view mountains from you window. Comfy beds and a clean room. Fresh baked cookies are served at 6 PM daily. Close parking and a grab and go breakfast of fruit, muffins, and granola bars complete a nice stay. Friendly, helpful staff make for a pleasant stay.
