We were just needing a place to rest our head for the night. We thought we were booking a handicapped king room and it wound up being a suite! It had a living room, kitchenette, and separate bedroom. The bathroom was larger than most hotel room. We loved all the room we had. I am sure our room would be very adequate for an extended work stay. However, even though the room had a stove top, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge there was nothing in the room for cooking or eating. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
We found the room clean and neat. The hot breakfast was very nice and the evening desk clerk was very helpful. Our only negative is that the vents on the air conditioner unit are obviously not frequently cleaned. As we suffer from breathing and sinus issues, I always wipe the unit down and found these particularly dirty.
It is a pretty good hotel to stop for 1 night and keep going with your journey. But if you are thinking about staying for 4+ days you should think about better option. There are not a lot of activities to do. Rooms are pretty clean, no problem with them, but towels were in pretty bad condition. I kept seeing a lot of colored spots on white towels. Mattresses are too hard and they were not good for my spine. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Not a great variety of food but tasty enough to full my stomach. Also stuff could be a bit more friendlier when they serve their customers. Because women on reception looked like they didn't care about customers at all.
I spent two nights at the Courtview while attending a meeting in Springfield. The facility is a relatively new place showing some wear and tear. One unique feature is that each room has a picture of some animal on the door as well as the room number (see photo). The room keys are of the proximity touch variety. My room had a large flat screen tv as well as a work desk for my use. There were plenty of electrical outlets to plug my pc in, but the wifi was not the fastest. There was also some mold on the tub where the tub surround met the tub. In addition I had water under the sink that I reported the first night but still had the problem on night two as well. Management supplied extra towels to soak it up since it was only a minor irritation. Breakfast is included in the room price and was a typical buffet for this type of establishment. There is also a business center with a computer and printer for use of the guests as well as a well equipped fitness center. Would I stay here again? Probably since it was close to my meeting, the breakfast was sufficient and the irritations were not too significant.…
I am pleased that I reached out to stay again - after a VERY disappointment long visit last Summer 2020. The team that manager Kristina is putting together is making a difference in this property and its improvements. Cleaner rooms, cleaner public areas, a sincere effort to care about guests, Response to issues and concerns and a staff that does there best with what they have. There are aspects of the property ( some updates and some worn and dated_ that are challenging but the team is trying to work and maintain what they have. The property has a convenient location, nice pluses such as pool and hot tub, a standard breakfast that is back and good proximity to shopping and quick food. We were very pleased with out recent stay, with Kathy at the front desk and the improving housekeeping team Keep up the good work.…
