Wonderfully unique and warm character. Exactly what you want to compliment your experience in this beautiful small French village. Hostess was very nice and welcoming. You may need to call her upon arrival via telephone as she does not stay at hotel all hours. Also may want to just bring an overnight bag from your car as it is a hike up the stairs !
The room in this place is simply WOW! One of the most beautiful rooms I've ever been- Hugh room, big bathroom, nice balcony on the city center. The only thing that prevents it to be perfect is the poor breakfast- coffee, juice and croissant. That's it. I was expecting much more for breakfast for a place like this
This small boutique hotel is located overlooking the most picturesque valley imaginable, with a rushing stream tumbling down from the implausible church perched at the top of the rock cliffs and meandering all through the medieval village. Unfortunately, the bed was so very soft that my husband had to sleep on the floor, resulting in a poor night’s sleep for him, but I was able to tolerate it just fine. The bathroom had huge towel warmers, quite welcome in the chill mountain air in November, and an enormous claw-footed bathtub. Breakfast available; the restaurant was closed for the season. Attendant was very helpful with maps, restaurant recommendations, and advice about visiting the region.
Beautiful style and chic decor, full of character. Each room individually styled. Very attentive German hostess with good local recommendations. Excellent location. Simple but lovely continental breakfast. Lovely lounge area.
We stayed overnight in this hotel and cannot recomment it enough. It is in the perfect location, with fabulous unique and special rooms. There has been so much care put into decorating and furnishing the property. We have never stayed anywhere are beautiful before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were the only guests on the night we stayed and were made to feel welcome and comfortable by Kirsten. The village of Moustiers is lovely and it was wonderful to be staying there, in the middle of all the lovely shops and winding streets.Breakfast was delicious with the most wonderful local jams and honey, which we made sure we bought a jar of from the shop opposite before we left. Book it....you won't regret it.
