The amazing staff at this hotel has provided me with the best stay possible. I was worried about having to stay here because it’s not as renovated as some of the newer Marriott hotels, but I was rest assured the staff would do anything to accommodate my needs. Everyone from the front desk staff, maintenance, and the cleaning crew all did anything I asked for without any complaints. I admire the good work ethic by all the staff at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an extended stay where your needs will be met.

The pros were that the room was clean which is the most important thing for us. The room was spacious and I like that the sink is outside of the bathroom area. Makes it nice for two people getting ready. The cons were that it is very noisy. The bathroom fan as someone mentioned in a previous review was very loud. You could actually hear the bathroom fan in adjoining rooms when turned on and off. And it was the same switch as the light so it came on and off frequently. The hallway noise and other guests were just loud. Even at 12:30 there was still a lot of noise. We asked for a king size bed upon check in and we were told that rhymes didn’t have any kind size beds at all in the whole hotel. Not that they were not available but they did not offer a king option. My husband is very tall and sleeping on a small bed is not very comfortable. We had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 2:30. This was rough after very little sleep. Do not plan on staying here again.

On Monday 7th November we stayed overnight at Residence Inn St Louis Airport/Earth City after our late-night flight from LA, before our Family picked us up next morning.
We actually thought we had booked the 'other' Marriot closer to the Airport so weren't expecting much especially as we were waiting for a Shuttle that does not come every 20 mins on a loop like all the other Marriot Hotels but actually has to be ordered by you by letting the Concierge desk know you need picking up. After over an hour in the bitterly cold waiting for the Shuttle, a really helpful Driver from the Pear Tree Shuttle noticed how long we were waiting over a couple of his loop drive by's and asked if we were OK, it was then that we realised we had to let the Hotel know we needed picking up.
Our Driver came and was so welcoming and helpful even though it was by now so late and the end of his shift.
Upon arrival the Concierge Alex (forgive us if we didn't remember your name correctly) was so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, including rustling up a corkscrew for our bottle of wine (that we were able to buy at their 'Market') and bringing it all the way upstairs to us.
The Pizza that we were able to order late at night was delivered promptly and was delicious after a long and bit stressful day.
Next morning, we went down to the Breakfast bar and met Tina who was also so welcoming and attentive to our needs and whilst not compromising her service to the other Guests made time to chat with us about Family, our Trip and Australia. Yet Tina also had time for each Guest including the little Children and everyone felt valued and a little bit cherished that morning at Brekky.!!!
Although we actually booked the wrong Marriot Hotel, we would stay here again because of the Welcoming Professional Staff and budget value for overnight stay.
The room was clean and very comfy with a lounge and kitchen and TV that served both the bedroom and the lounge.
We would like the General Manager to acknowledge Alex (apologies if we have your name incorrectly) and Tina with an Employee Award, recognition and acclamation.
You are both a credit to Residence Inn Marriot, your Hospitality Profession and you Families!!

The room was dark, hot, and moist. (The carpets, linens, and couch were moist, meaning the air conditioning is not functioning correctly in summer to keep the room cool and dry in humidity.) The pillows are incredibly used and need replacing. The bed was visibly saggy. The in-room coffee maker was broken. No room cleaning was offered or completed on a Sunday through Wednesday stay. There were FLEAs in my room. The breakfast bar was lacking - and I was told they would not put out the bananas nor replace cereal choices that day or heat cold food. The pool is closed (during the hottest month of the summer.)

This was a great hotel…10-15 years ago. Today it is substandard and desperately in need of a major remodeling. The staff members are good folks, but they cannot overcome the lumpy mattresses, noisy shower fans (which have been noted to management many times), dingy appearance, and down-scale “COVID” breakfast service (which is so much better at the same hotel franchise 30 minutes away). Also, most of the lighting in the parking area does not work.

Thank you for taking time to respond. Your feedback is vital as we address the challenges that you as a guest face. My sincerest apologies that we did not meet your standards. We can not argue that the hotel is in need of a renovation, we are looking forward to this process beginning at the end of this year. It was in July that we did begin to offer hot breakfast once again and have fully returned to the complete hot menu in the first week of August. I tried three different rooms before settling. The first two had extremely loud bathroom fans. The mattress in the room we stayed in was not very comfortable. Overall the cleanliness of the room was just satisfactory.
The staff entered the room both mornings without knocking at 9 am and said it was because we were on the checkout list.

Great Stay at this Hotel!! We arrived & Marilyn assisted us with check in. Marilyn was very Polite, Professional, Prompt & Accommodating. Check in was quick & smooth. When we walked in Lobby area, it smelled amazing. Our room was nice & clean. Rooms include Kitchen (with Fridge, Stove top, Microwave) which was a plus!! We went to the gas stations located in the same parking lot as the Hotel to get snacks & drinks to put in our fridge. Location was great there is a Mcdonalds & gas station on the lot as well as accessibility to Highway. This Hotel was a 5 minute drive from Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Dave & Busters, as well as Two Casinos. Complimentary Breakfast was included in the Morning which was awesome!! We will definitely stay at this Hotel again!

Checked in early which was nice. Across the hall there was a pile of bedding and a trashbag of garbage. Still there in the morning. Once in the room, saw the coffee maker which was rusted and the coffee pot had obviously not been cleaned. Bathroom fan noisy as heck and went on automatically with light switch. Turned on thermostat and fan was noisier than the airplanes flying overhead. "Obnoxious " was the term used by a person who loves white noise. Table in dining area held together by duct tape. Lots of highway and airport noise. Heard the person above me, who sounded like an elephant. Location is convenient to freeway, restaurants and casinos within a few miles. I did show the clerk pictures of bedding and coffee maker/pot when checking out and she was outraged and apologetic. But I'd not stay here again.

My experience was very in line with what others have stated. And I appreciate the manager responding to reviews. I think I met the manager onsite and their entire staff was outstanding, supportive, and friendly. Sincerely it's not their fault. The issue is that this isn't really a Marriott, but rather a franchise of the brand to a 3rd party hotel manager. I feel like they are running it more like a Fairfield Inn than a Residence Inn. And Fairfield's are totally fine, but it's just a bit misleading to expect a Residence Inn experience where it's being run a bit more like a Fairfield in terms of room cleanliness and other amenities. I easily ran a paper towel on most of the bedroom and bathroom surfaces and picked up tons and tons of grime and dirt. The fitness center could probably use an upgrade. Everything could probably use an upgrade. But its convenient, just a mile off the 270/70 interchange, so it's not bad if you're expecting a Fairfield or Comfort Inn. I just wouldn't brand it a Residence Inn. I know the manager is reading, so I want you to know, it's not you, because your staff was truly the nicest, sweetest, and most supportive around.
